MC has been with her boyfriend for a few years now. He's handsome, successful, and all-around a pretty good guy despite his anger issues.
When he asks MC to go visit his rich, eccentric family for a few weeks during the summer, she anxiously agrees since this will be the first time she's had an opportunity to meet them.
YC, his younger brother, is the black sheep who's always marched to the beat of his own drum and hasn't exactly lived up to his posh parent's expectations like his brother had. The brothers are polar opposites and they don't get along very well.
Upon meeting MC, YC not only takes a liking to her; but he also can't help but notice that MC looks like the ex-girlfriend that his brother accidentally murdered in high school. When MC accidentally uncovers her boyfriend's big secret, she opens up another can of worms entirely and suddenly feels like YC is the only one she can trust.

MC is long time best friends with YC's younger brother. He's always had a crush on MC, but never had the balls to act on it at all so MC is completely oblivious. YC's brother is looking to move out of his parents' house, and coincidentally YC has just come back to town after being away for a couple of years and is looking for a place to live as well. The brothers end up choosing to move in together in a two-bedroom apartment in the city. MC shows up to help her best friend move in his stuff, and she catches YC's eye. She's young, innocent, and hangs around a lot, so in his mind she's the perfect thing to keep him entertained. YC has always been a bit of a delinquent, and now that he's older that hasn't changed. His brother doesn't know it, but YC makes his money from selling drugs/underground fighting/something illegal.
MC starts to spend more time at their apartment than she does at her own place, crashing on the couch most nights, and YC isn't necessarily complaining. At first, it's all harmless flirting and teasing. YC doesn't actually intend to make any real moves, he just enjoys seeing MC get flustered and his brother getting a bit irritated. After a while of getting to know MC though, YC really starts to like her. She's a bit different than the girls he would normally would go for, but something about that draws him to her completely. Eventually YC will start to make real moves on MC when his brother isn't around, unable to help himself from trying to taste the forbidden fruit.
I want the relationship between MC and YC to be very hot and cold. One day they can't get enough of each other, the next they can't stand each other. Always trying to get the best of the other one or set them off. Very heated and toxic in the best type of way.

YC is a vampire who values his solitude. While out looking for a snack late one night, he stumbles upon MC as she's being assaulted in an alleyway on her way home.
Something compels him to help her out, and he drains all of her attacker's blood. Not so hungry after his first meal, he doesn't kill MC. He knows can't just leave her there in her shocked state, though, as it would pose a risk to his identity. He takes her home with him to calm her down so he can make sure she knows the consequences of telling anyone what she saw.
As he has more time to think about it, he realizes he can't trust this stranger to keep his secret. It would be easy to just kill her and be done with it, but YC finds something interesting about MC. He agrees to let her live, as long as she agrees to be his live-in blood bank and allow him to feed off of her whenever he pleases. The catch is that she doesn't really have a choice, but she still protests despite the other option being death. Eventually, YC makes her realize she doesn't have a choice but assures her that he won't just start sucking on her neck like a juice box right away. They'll slowly introduce her to the process so that she can get used to it before she's stuck doing it for the rest of her life.

β I also like the idea of YC feeding off of MC to be a mutually beneficial experience. She'll receive some sense of euphoria from it, but it's overwhelming at first which is why YC decides to slow roll her into things.

For as long as MC could remember, it had just been her and her mother. She didn't know much about her father, but she and her mom had always been just fine so MC never felt too compelled to find out much about him.
Once MC grew up and moved out on her own she was living a pretty mundane life for the most part, until a letter appeared in the mail that completely flipped her life upside down. Her father had passed away after suddenly falling ill, and had decided to leave all of his wealth to her, his only daughter. However, there's a catch. He doesn't expect MC to run his business with no experience, but he does have a perfect candidate in mind.
YC is a powerful executive with a reputation for being a cold, ruthless businessman who has a knack for getting his way. YC worked closely with MC's father, who was quite fond of YC both personally and professionally, and ultimately decided to leave his company for YC to take over. If MC agrees to be YC's wife, she's entitled to all of her father's money and the future profits of his company. If she declines the marriage, she gets a check for a set amount and can go on her merry way. It's quite a big decision to make without ever having met YC, so she sets up a meeting to discuss everything with YC. MC has 30 days to decide, so YC suggests she move in with him as a sort of trial period before making up her mind. After a few glasses of expensive wine MC thinks this is a perfectly sound plan and agrees with little hesitation. Little does she know, there's a lot more to YC than meets the eye and she has no clue what she's getting herself into.

MC has just moved into a new apartment and just so happens to be right next door to YC. They couldn't be more different. MC just broke off an engagement and is looking to focus on herself and get a fresh start. YC is a mafia boss; A suave ladies' man with a bad temper who doesn't take shit from anyone.
After a long day of moving and unpacking, MC is excited to relax in a hot bath. Just as she settles in, she's disrupted but the sound of YC's one night stand echoing through the walls. Since she's on a new path to try and stand up for herself more, and as her first challenge MC decides to go next door and ask YC to pipe it down. However, all of her confidence is wiped away when her sexy new neighbor answers the door in his underwear.
From there, he'll offer to take her out to dinner or something to make it up to her and prove he's not such a bad guy. She's annoyed to shit by his cocky attitude but still drawn to him. He loves pissing her off because he's attracted to how feisty she is with him. Lots of taunting and teasing as they grow closer.
As they continue to see each other, she'll start to notice weird things that make her suspicious, but she's not exactly sure what about. He comes home in the early hours of the morning bruised and battered; He'll disappear for days at a time and act like nothing happened; He's always very vague about what he does for a living, but he seems to live pretty lavishly despite the average apartment complex they live in, which is enough to raise an eyebrow.
She's still trying to get over her recent breakup, so her walls are built high and her trust issues are intensified. As he seems to grow more secretive, she starts to try and distance herself because she doesn't know what to make of her strange new love interest. He's dealing with the struggle of hiding his lifestyle from her to keep her safe, but not wanting to lie to her as they continue to grow closer.
She tells him that she needs some space, and he respects that even though he lives next door. A few days go by allowing him to think a lot as well. A lot of YC's energy lately had been going into MC and he'd only been working as often as he had to, so while his guard was down an enemy had been keeping a close eye and noticed a new prominent lady friend in his life. While they're taking some time apart, the enemy takes the opportunity to try and kidnap MC to get to YC. YC is next door, of course, so he busts down the door and saves her, but now has no choice but to tell her everything. She asks him what the hell is going on, and he sheepishly gives her the short version of, "I'm actually in the mafia and your life is now in imminent danger. Sorry, I should have told you sooner but I like you a lot and I didn't want to scare you away lol." She obviously freaks out and tries to leave, he blocks the door and tells her that she's in more danger currently than she would be on a normal day because the kidnapping was unsuccessful. They will come back for her, so he has no choice but to take her away so they can lie low.

YC and MC's boyfriend were childhood best friends. When they graduated high school and went their separate ways, they ended up sort of drifting apart.
Years later, YC happens to move to the same city where MC and her boyfriend share an apartment.
YC has just bought a brand new house thanks to his success as a porn director/producer. He reaches out to his old buddy and invites him and MC to his housewarming party.
After a couple of drinks, YC catches MC alone and can't help but tell her that he thinks she has exactly what it takes to make it in his business. She's taken aback at first, but ultimately flattered. She says she's not too sure her boyfriend would approve, but YC is able to convince her to do it in secret.
However, YC ends up being a bit of a hands-on teacher. While guiding her through a gentle solo scene from behind the camera, he can't help but jump in and give MC a few pointers. One thing leads to another and before they know it they're both completely lost in the moment and end up accidentally filming the scene together. The chemistry between the two of them is unmatched and the viewers love every second of it. Thankfully, MC's boyfriend isn't a big phan of porn, so he's not too likely to stumble upon the videos his girlfriend has been making with his best friend. But as MC and YC begin to rise in popularity they spend more and more time together and it becomes harder to keep everything going right under her boyfriend's nose.

MC and YC both captain two of the most infamous pirate crews that pillage the seas.
They often run into each other since they both chose to go for the bigger bounties out there, and after being rivals for years they don't get along.
YC sort of plays by his own rules -- not that there are many in the lifestyle they lead -- and his main priority is living a life of excitement and indulgence.
MC is a bit more uptight and isn't a fan of YC's cocky, laid-back attitude.
When YC happens to stumble upon MC and her crew becomes shipwrecked/overtaken, he does what anyone would do for an old friend and offers her some assistance... with a catch of course.
YC offers to let MC and her shipmates come aboard, so long as they all agree to follow his orders. Including MC who would have to step down from her authoritative role and be subservient to YC and share his quarters since she certainly wouldn't be bunking with the rest of the crew. He allows her to assume a sort of co-captain position, but makes sure she knows that he's definitely in charge.
β YC is sort of Jack Sparrow-ish in juxtaposition to MC being kind of a bitch all the time. They're opposites, and they get under each other's skin and butt heads a lot; but there has to be some way for them to relieve all that tension when they're cooped up on a ship together heheheh.
κ±α΄ΚΙͺα΄α΄ΚΚ Κα΄κ±ΙͺΙ΄α΄κ±κ± β§Β°+ｑ* β§
YC is a wealthy executive, and despite her working at the front desk of his office for years, YC has never really given MC much of a second glance. A huge gala is coming up and a lot of the company's clients and investors are going to be there, so it's important that YC keeps up his good reputation. YC already had a date for the event long before it arrived, but on the day of she calls him to cancel last minute. The board of advisors prefers that he doesn't go stag, because a piece of arm candy makes the cold, stoic CEO seem a bit more personable.
Irked and out of options, YC has ruled out an extensive list of potential women and is at his wit's end. Just as he's about to give up, MC comes in to bring him a phone message before she leaves for the weekend. He'd never even considered asking her. She's actually the ideal candidate because she's easy on the eyes, he can tolerate her for the evening, and she'll be able to mingle well with his colleagues better than someone who didn't work for him.
She agrees to go, and once the two are in a less professional environment they relax a little and really seem to get along. They end up drinking a little more than they planned, so they head up to the penthouse suite that his company has at the hotel where the event is being held to try and sober up before YC takes MC home. Once they're alone behind closed doors, it's hard to ignore their newfound attraction to each other.
β I love the idea of the two characters ending up in a "sugar" type of affair after their initial night together.
β YC can either be married or a serial womanizer. Both routes are fun, but open up slightly different paths for the story to take. Either way, there will eventually come a time when MC gets frustrated and gives YC the ultimatum of leaving his wife/changing his ways or she's kicking him to the curb.

MC is a young celebrity. As she's gotten older and more present on social media, she's gotten more attention from her fans, not all of it positive. Once she starts to get threatening letters from a stalker, her father hires YC, a personal, live-in bodyguard for her. No matter how much she protests, her father tells her what's done is done.
When YC shows up at MC's apartment for his first day of work there's an instant attraction between the two, but his contract sets clear boundaries between them and MC isn't the biggest fan of him in the beginning. She feels suffocated with him constantly following her around, and she's constantly acting up and causing trouble for him, trying to evade him in public. It's not until an attempted kidnapping that she fina;;y begins to trust him and allow him to look after her.

YC has just moved to a new town to start his life over. Again.
In the past, he's had a bit of a problem with getting a little too attached to the women he's infatuated with. The last couple of times, things had gotten out of hand and didn't really go as planned. He didn't want to kill them, but it was what was best for them. That's all he wants; whatever's best for them.
He's moved towns, changed names, and destroyed all the evidence more than once by now. But the last time was just that- the last time. Or at least that's what he's trying to tell himself.
So he's moved to a new city. A fresh start. New life. Everything is different now. He's different now.
Until he sees MC.
At first, it's just in passing. He notices her when he's out running an errand and is left breathless by her beauty. He fantasizes about her briefly and assumes that's the end of it.
Except he can't get her out of his head.
Then he sees her again, and maybe another time after that. His curiosity gets the best of him, and he starts to learn her routine.
β I like the idea of YC beginning to stalk MC, but he promises himself he's only going to look this time, not touch; until they inevitably meet face-to-face with her completely unaware of what he's been doing
β I want this one to get as dark as it can get, I have quite a few ideas in my head.
