Advertisng Question

I was in the process of making a roleplaying site similar to Blue Moon as of now. I was wondering if I were to advertise it would I get banned? The only reason it is similar to Blue Moon is because I used it as a guide untill I can put my own stuff up.

Don't spam. Invite friends that you think might be interested. Don't fire off PMs to everyone you see online. If you're willing to return the favor, I'll add a link to our stickied 'Sites of Interest' thread.
