BACKGROUND:
Eleanor Grace Keller is not a woman who acknowledges the limitations placed upon her by others.
Born to Christopher and Grace Keller in New York City, she was doted upon from the moment her parents learned of her conception all the way until their abrupt and violent ends. Spared from remembering any part of that night, Nora was raised by her father's business partner and best friend Zephyr Gibbs and she has since never known a life outside of the spotlight. She's been an entertainer since infancy, a child who's personality entered a room two minutes before she did, with a natural talent for commanding a crowd before she ever took center stage.
By seven she was playing harmonica, by eleven she had picked up guitar and piano. At twelve she was singing back-up with the house band, by fifteen she was performing on her own. Whenever her Uncle Zeph was on stage, he always invited Nora up to sing with his guitar, and before she turned eighteen she was a true contender within the Manhattan jazz scene. The city was opening up to her, but then Prohibition passed.
Uncle Zephyr's club, The 251, was turned into a barbershop, and like dominos so many other businesses followed suit– succumbing to the loss of revenue, jobs, and the security the latter created. Nora was without direction, getting angry and restless for the foolishness of the law and the enforcers who gave her family grief, so Zeph urged her to go overseas to perform across Europe, to see the world. He had a cousin in London who would help her get started. Nora kissed her uncle on his cheek, promised she would write, and left the following month.
She found her legs in London, and after six months in the city, she was ready to move on. In every new place she went, she wrote home, telling her Uncle and the boys back home still struggling to earn their keep cutting hair and trimming beards about her travels, sending them money whenever she could.
Two weeks ago she received a telegram from one of the boys, saying Zeph was in some sort of trouble he couldn't explain until she was home, and she needed to come back as soon as possible. Nora packed her things, pulled in favors from the men and women she'd rubbed elbows with during her travels, and made her way onto the RMS Valiant Empress to return to New York City just as the new year begins.

FACE CLAIM: JAMIE DORNAN
BACKGROUND:
Jack Ransom had always been a wanderer, a child of the road and the whispered secrets of dark alleys and bright market squares. Born in a small, forgettable village in Ireland, where the sea sang lullabies of far-off lands, Jack's life was upended by the sudden death of his mother. His father, a shadow figure blurred by absence, was nowhere to be found. Thus, Jack was raised by the village, a child of no one and every one.
As Jack grew, so did his ambitions as the village became a cradle too small for his dreams. With a head full of tales and pockets perennially empty, he left behind the green embrace of Ireland for the cobblestones of London. It was there, amid the fog and the soot and the relentless clatter of the city, that Jack discovered his true talent... the con.
The streets were his stage, the passersby his audience, and each successful trick a confirmation that he could be anyone and convince others of almost anything.
London was only the beginning. Jack's charm, sharp as the edge of a well-worn coin, bought him passage across Europe. He walked among princes and paupers, learning that the weight of a title is often lighter than it seems, and that gold, though cold, has a warmth to be sought after in the dead of night. His fame or rather, his infamy, grew. As did the list of those he had wronged, a shadow following him more faithfully than any friend.
On a crisp evening in Monaco, where fortunes were both made and drowned, Jack met Victor Saitovick. Victor, with eyes as sharp as broken glass, was a man of considerable power and even greater cruelty, a crime lord whose web stretched from the alleyways of New York to the underbelly of Europe. They played a game of poker, where the stakes were more than mere money; they were promises of loyalty and threats disguised as banter. Jack won that night, not just the pile of chips that glittered like false promises under the chandelier, but the enmity of a man as dangerous as the sea during a storm.
Fleeing Victor's wrath, Jack found his way onto the RMS Valiant Empress, a towering titan of steel and steam, bound for New York City. With the audacity that was his trademark, he conned his way into first class, a realm of gilded smiles and velvet lies. Here, he thought, amidst the laughter of wealthy heiresses and the clink of fine china, he would execute his greatest con. He would rob them not merely of their jewels or pocketbooks, but of their security. For on the deck of the RMS Valiant Empress, under the guise of a New Year's celebration, Jack planned to begin his grand redistribution, from the overflowing pockets of the rich to the only cause he truly cared for... his own.
Urges & Impulses:
Overview: Jack Ransom thrives in the unpredictability of his nomadic lifestyle, weaving deception and charm into his existence as a confidence man. His urges are primarily driven by a thirst for adventure and the thrill of the con, seeking opportunities that allow him to exploit his skills in persuasion and impersonation. Jack prefers environments that are as dynamic and fluid as his ever-changing identities, finding comfort in the bustling energy of crowded cities and social gatherings where he can blend in or stand out as required. His impulses lean towards improvisation and adaptability, utilizing whatever tools or roles the situation demands to maneuver through social and financial obstacles. In romantic relationships, Jack is charismatic and elusive, often presenting a chameleon like ability to adapt to his partner's desires while guarding his true intentions. His approach to love is tactical, viewing relationships as extensions of his cons, where emotional depth is often sacrificed for the thrill of the game and personal gain. His "sex moves" are foreplay and an objectively large cock.
