WELCOME TO THE PARTYThis thread is written from the perspective of Brayan's journal, one of the main characters I plan on writing as! Although, he could be nothing but a filler character if you don't like the faceclaim I've used! The same goes for any of the other visuals I've used throughout. The journal entries are meant to be short little snippets, which we will explore fully together!)
(This is an adaptation of my 'Diary Thread' where the focus is on myself writing as the girls, but I realized I also love writing male characters. Why not, huh?! A lot of the ideas are similar and simply written from the other side, but there are some original ones!)
| Journal Entry #1: The Cheerleaders! College football is cool. Sure, I grew up with the sport and I really enjoy it, but there's an extra dimension in college. The community feeling with the entire institution, the parties after a big game, the rush, the prestige, the girls. I truly live for it, and there's no denying it. Our college always had this rivalry with the nearby university. Historically we've both had great teams, but in recent years the tide had been with them. Still, the boys and I didn't lose hope. We were a mostly new generation of players. We were good, and we were training hard. There were a few more weeks left before the big game, but it turned out there was something else that needed to be settled. See, the cheerleaders in both schools were competitive in their own right, and one night both my team and our rivals were called to meet them... |
| Journal Entry #2: The Party in the Forest! My dear friend Carl got into Harvard! As soon as the news broke, his big brother decided to invite over some friends. Back when we were in middle school, we often went to this clearing in the woods. It was our usual hangout spot when the weather was good, but it had been years since we all went there. What better way to relive the good old days? Something was a bit different, though. Sure, we had girls over sometimes, but never like this. Carl's sister Bethany was just as proud of him, and she wanted to celebrate too. To not be the only girl in the middle of this sausage fest, some friends of hers tagged along. | Journal Entry #4: The International Project! (CRAVING!!! I have tons of character ideas for this one as well...) After weeks of hard work, it finally paid off. I passed all my classes last year with flying colors, and I was chosen for an amazing internship in Washington DC! It was the chance of a lifetime so obviously I went for the entire summer. It promised to be a lot of work, but it would also bring me in touch with all sorts of people. So many connections to be made. It already started with the housing situation. See, I wasn't the only one handpicked for the internship. I would be living together in a large estate in the outskirts of the city, on the expense of the owner of the company, together with a group of people from all over the world. They were all amazing. Highly intelligent, of course, but that didn't mean they were boring whatsoever. The beautiful Hungarian Tsvetana spent most of her free time in the pool, always trying to drag us in with her. Troy from France proved to be an amazing work-out partner during our stay there, and I immediately grew close to the South-Korean couple who stayed in the room next to mine. Of course, there were others around as well, and the best times were the big hangout sessions after a long day of work... |
| Journal Entry #5: Halloween! I always enjoyed Halloween. Parties were always a lot of fun, and this year I went with the boys. All of us were dressed in masks, while most of us simultaneously took the opportunity to show off our bodies. Apparently, there are some girls who are really into that. At least, one particular group of girls was. Our attention was drawn to them as much as they ogled us. My girlfriend couldn't believe you believe Ice Spice herself invited us backstage! | Journal Entry #7: The Internet-Famous Friend! I never forgot my old friend Imane. She's a few years older than me but we grew up in the same neighborhood. Turns out, she made it big! I've never been into gaming as much as her, so I don't really understand it - but she is now known as Pokimane, and people call her the Queen of Twitch. She has many followers, so many people watching her every day. I'm very happy for her, obviously. She deserves it. There was this little charity competition today, where a famous streamer teamed up with a childhood friend. Of course I went, even though I'm not that good at gaming. One of hte other teams wanted to take it a bit further, and I encouraged Imane to take it. Sure, I might have put her in a little trouble but she needs to loosen up! I mean, it's for charity after all! It is all over the internet now, but she had a lot of fun together with her co-stars. |
