Give me a roller-coaster relationship, give me screaming matches that turn into wild make-up sex, give me the long-awaited first kiss that blossoms into something more. Conflicts were broken up with tumultuous periods of cease-fires which would again be quickly broken to resume hostilities. Algae fueled the fire โ hate seemed to fuel the survivors.
Morgan Thurman and Jasmine Manalo find themselves at the center of an uprising in the Prison, an algae-research and farming center that feeds the heating system of the largest community. With the facility shut down, the community faces long term threats of cold and starvation if not resolved quickly. And with cold and hunger looming on the horizon, the wolves from surrounding communities smell the blood in the air. [INDENT][SIZE=13px][COLOR=#b0b4bf]The largest group of survivors in the tunnel system, owning three separate facilities and the means to travel between them with one of only two working monorail systems that connect these facilities. The main facility is the living space and takes the shape of what could be called a remnant of an old-world city. Originally a housing unit for the other facilities connected in the system, it has slowly been turned into a seat of governance, complete with a marketplace and a large barracks for the guards and military.
The community also controls the Prison, which is an old algoculture research facility turned into a food production and research station. Director van Arends is the official director of the prison, shadowed by his overseer, who controls the security and prison aspect of the facility. Unofficially, Dr. Jasmine Manalo wields a large amount of influence over the prison due to her standing as the head researcher. Lastly, the community controls the Arsenal, though the actual arsenal is a lot less impressive than the name implies, though it functions well enough to keep other factions at bay. Due to a broken down monorailtrack, the arsenal has been out of reach for a long time, and communications are sporadic.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/INDENT]

[INDENT][SIZE=13px][COLOR=#b0b4bf]The Northern Terminal Facility Hardliners are based out of the Northern Terminal Facility, a location that formerly functioned as the entrance and exit to the entire facility system. It consists of a industrial workshop, with ample space to perform large scale industrial projects, and contains the only other working monorail system. The Terminal Facility is also the only location where monorails are able to repaired.
Originally a part of the Bering Enclave, the Hardliners grew tired of being abused as laborers by the leadership and revolted in a bloody civil war that saw them successfully rise up in the Northern Terminal, overthrowing the loyalists and preparing a defense despite lacking any resources to acquire working firearms or armor. After an unsuccessful attempt at retaking the facility due to its crucial nature in keeping the monorails working, an uneasy peace was signed that lasted for a long time before being broken in an incident that saw conflict erupt amidst the repair of a monorail in exchange for algae. Ever since then the Hardliners have been engaged in a bitter stalemate with the community, with many Hardliners being taken prisoner to serve as laborers once more.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/INDENT]
