Heya, I'm Chai, like the tea. This thread is for all my lighter, romantic cravings. But romance can come in many different forms: hearts and flowers can be romantic, just like a tragedy and heartbreak can be romantic. A story with coercion or dubious consent can be romantic. My point here is that I'm open to a lot, and I don't want people to think otherwise just because I prefer an element of romance somewhere in the roleplay.
There isn't a whole lot I won't play... I'm up for most genres, settings, or time periods. I've written everything from fantasy to post-Civil War America to space sci-fi to modern supernatural. Modern settings tend to be the most popular, but I'm open to whatever ideas you have!
I don't really have a lot of expectations: please spell things correctly, be 'literate' (I hate describing it like that but it gets the point across), and help add content to the plot. I only write via threads on the forum, and I can reply 1-2 times per week.

What I love is the buildup, the tension, the back and forth of teasing. The verbal foreplay, if you will. The smut is only a portion of the funโthere's nothing better than all of the stuff that comes before. Drama, heat, and passion are other qualities I look for in a story. Give me a roller-coaster relationship, give me screaming matches that turn into wild make-up sex, give me the long-awaited first kiss that blossoms into something more. Give me jealousy, emotions, and intensity.
Being an active participant in plotting is necessary. I love the unknown. The surprises. I want to be drawn in, I want to draw you in, and that requires moving the plot forward with each post. In order to do that, it might mean moving each other around or making assumptions. And that's totally fine with me! If you need my character to react or respond a certain way because you want to steer the story in a certain direction, be my guest. It's a little bit of a trust exercise, but if I've chosen to write with you it's because I feel I'm in good hands.

I find placing limits on kinks make more sense when planning specific stories, so really I'm up for most anything. I do have favorites and absolute hard limits, but anything else is fine!
Summerโs life was easy. It was wild, filled with partying and doing whatever she wanted to do, whenever she wanted to do it. And with her leaving for college, her worried mother lets her go on one condition: she had to live with her late father's best friend, who promised long ago to help look after her. To "help get her under control," her mother had said. Of course, Summer had no intentions of letting anyone control her life, especially someone she barely even knew.

They would start out frustrated with each other and slowly grow closer, all the while exploring their forbidden relationship. I really want them to struggle with being in each others' lives but still feeling a healthy dose of sexual tension.

Writing was a seemingly innocent outlet, and it's not like anyone would find out anyway, least of all him.

Maybe her day job is a writer for a magazine and he's the editor-in-chief. Or he's some executive and she's his personal assistant. I've even written a version long ago where she was a senior fashion designer and he was the CEO of the company.
