I'm sure there are fellow mythology buffs out there, so I'm gonna pitch the loose concept for a story I wanted to do... (I have way more details in mind for the play itself, we can discuss those in private)
The primary idea is that my character is the son of Ares and the Queen of Sparta. Ares disguised himself as her husband, laid with her one night, and the result was a demigod with great potential. He was poised to take over his father's position and rule as a great warrior king, leading the Spartans to many glorious victories -- but the boy, Areseus, had other plans.
Shortly before he was to perform his coming-of-age combat ritual on his sixteenth birthday, he stole away in the night with the aid of Athena, eager for an opportunity to spite and deny her rival glory.
It's been over a decade since and Areseus now offers his services as a mercenary and hired hand. But a demigod can deny his destiny for only so long...
The idea I had is that he will come across a number of the prominent Greek goddesses and that in some way, they will help shape, influence, or alter his journey.
While a 1x1 character story is possible, this tale is better suited to one man having multiple women. So it's sort of a harem setup...I know that is a HUGE ask of some, which is why I'm discussing that here. I don't want someone who'd be overwhelmed or have difficulty juggling several roles to get in over their head.
Possible goddesses include Aphrodite, Hera, Athena, Hestia, and Persephone. Less obvious/somewhat more obscure options include Hecate, Circe, Calypso, and Demeter.
Open to going any number of ways with this, but ideally there'd be between 4 and 6 total goddesses involved. Also open to one-off scenes with minor characters.
Play will involve story AND smut, as if that wasn't obvious.
