Hello there, everyone! I hope you're having a great day! While I have main request thread, this one serves for a recent idea that came to my mind. Disclaimer While this is presented as Canon x Canon idea, we don't have to stick to that. I'm more than happy to create original characters both within and outside of Disney's Frozen world with a similar premise/characters. Introduction I am going to assume you've seen Frozen. If you didn't, go and watch it, even if it's for the catchy Let it go. No worries, I'll wait. Done? Great. Typically, people focus on the protagonists - Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and the rest. I, however, would like to picture Prince Hans, the movie's main antagonist. His abusive past shaped his character as a cunning man, ruthless underneath his prince charming facade. Of course, given it's Disney, he can't succeed with his plans, but what if...? Story idea Prince Hans (or Muse A, should you want OC) comes to a neighboring kingdom to represent his home country during the coronation of a new ruler - Elsa (or Muse C). Since he is the youngest son in his family, with no potential to inherit the crown, he sets his eyes on the sister of the upcoming Arendelle's queen - Princess Anna (Muse B). He perceives her as less mature and more gullible, therefore easier to manipulate than her older sibling. Sure, he will have to get rid of Elsa, but it's all within his capabilities to plot something sinister to happen. Hans is lucky to bump into Anna on his way in and immediately begins to woo her, pretending that he doesn't know who she is and acting all surprised when he meets her again during the ceremony. From here, the story could go in multiple directions: 1.) Hans drives a wedge between the sisters, manages to get Elsa killed, and rules Arendelle, controlling Anna without her even realizing; 2.) Elsa's powers emanate during the coronation, forcing her to flee - with Hans and Anna hot on her tail. Here, Hans can convince Anna that her sister is a threat and have her killed; Elsa could harm Anna and Hans would threaten to save Anna only if Elsa submits to him; or Hans could put himself in danger so that Anna would end up with her sister's blood on her hand while saving Hans. Either way, something dramatic would happen alongside the story, with Hans gaining an edge over Anna or Elsa (or both). Of course, it shouldn't just end there - there's a whole big world to conquer! Themes While there are topics of corruption, submission, and the looming threat of death, I'd imagine this to be also heavily leaning on the side of political machinations and intrigue. I welcome my co-writers to define their characters' goals and have them be something more than lifeless dolls. Struggle for power, aim to bring solace to the people, or do something entirely else - I'd love to hear your ideas! Closing words If you want to find out more about me, refer back to my original request thread. In a nutshell, I'm a literate writer, capable of matching my partner's length and aiming for 300-500 words minimum per reply (although I understand some scenes could be shorter, especially during dialogues). I would love for both sides to contribute to the development of the story, and I'd love to avoid reactive posts that are just retelling the previous one. Oh, and if you'd be interested in some other Disney movie, ping me. Who knows, maybe we could come up with something twisted and dark! P.S. If that's your preference, I might be persuaded to play it via Discord instead of DMs here. |
