James didn't want to leave the car. He was sulking a bit on the backseat, listening to his favourite music. He hadn't planned to go to camp that year after being bullied the previous year. But his parents had told him this was a chance for him to try again, try a new campsite, he had accepted after a few weeks. Hearing the door open, he looked out at his mum, his eyes being a bit larger and slightly wet as he tried to persuade her silently into letting him stay home, she shock her head and he got out, hanging his head a bit low while he got his bags.
His mother always made a fuss about everything, but this was different, she dropped him off, gave him a hug and a peck on the cheek and left. He sighed deeply, heading towards the hut where he knew he'd be staying. Getting inside, he soon found out there would be three other boys there, all of them having small single rooms as it appeared these boys had been bullied too and this was a special hut looking like the rest from the outside, but on the inside it was different as there were lesser boys living there and they had special backgrounds.
Putting his bags next to the bed, James begun unpacking as he noticed the note saying they'd be given a camp counsilor who would help them if anything happened. He shrugged at it, finishing with unpacking shortly after as he then laid on his bed, turning his music back on in his ears as he listened to it blast away, being completely obscure about what would be happening around him in those moments.
