You'd be playing as the dad character who my mother starts dating just after the point I become her.
So in order to keep the timeline the same I start dating you like she did, at first my motivation is to stop changes, but the longer I am her the more I start to feel like she did.
Eventually falling for you and essentially living out my life as she did as I discover the only way back to 2024 is to live through all the years in between.
