Hello there!
After watching "House of the Dragon" and "Robin Hood" back-to-back, I was bitten by this rather specific idea. While I'm usually a bit iffy on fandom-settings, the world of A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones does really catch my fancy.
That being said, I would prefer to go for a setting that doesn't touch on much plot from the books or the shows, so either something set somewhere before Robert's Rebellion or in an AU, where that didn't happen.
Before I get on to the plot, maybe some general information about me and my writing:
- I generally aim for a reply-length if 500-1000 words at least and aim for a reply per week, but my creativity has been a bit fickle lately, so I won't make any promises there.
- In terms of characters I play, I do have a slight leaning for female characters, but I've been wanting to branch out a bit and play some more male characters. The same goes for romantic and sexual pairings. I would very much appreciate some flexibility in that regard from my partner.
- While I did intentionally post this in the non-sexual category, I do not mind graphic sex-scenes, including gratuitous ones. However, the main-focus should lie on the plot. But if the plot offers some opportunities for kinky lewds, I'd be all for it! Kinks and Limits in that regard can be discussed later.
(Though, since this is set in the world of Game of Thrones, there is a high chance this tale might include violence, sexual and otherwise, medieval sexism and -given my soft spot for Targaryens, potentially incest, so keep that in mind)
- This plot is intended as and ensemble piece, so I would highly prefer, if my partner would take on some additional main-ish characters and NPCs as required. I do have some character-ideas of my own listed below, but those are just suggstions.
- If this plot sounds like something up your alley, please do include your own thoughts, interests, character-ideas and whatever else you can think of in your message!.
- Finally: The plot as written is meant more as a jumping-off point for further brainstorming, so I'm always open for suggestions!
(Feel also free to check HERE for some other plots!)
TLDR:
A young Targaryen-Prince is deposed by his uncle, survives an assasination-attempt and finds himself lost in the woods, before he sets out to reclaim the throne and defeat his evil, tyrannical uncle.
Think Robin Hood meets Game of Thrones, Dragons highly optional.
I'm looking for someone to play at the very least said Prince, as well as whatever over characters you come up with. β

πhen the late King died, his younger brother took over as regent, until the King's son and heir would come of age.
But when the day finally came for the King's son to be crowned, the Regent decided to get rid of his nephew instead. Shortly after, the prince was declared dead, victim of a "tragic hunting accident". And the Regent crowned himself and continued his increasingly tyrannical rule.
But unbeknownst to him, his assassins botched the job. The Prince survived, albeit wounded, alone and lost in the depths of the Kingswood.

βΎ While the Usurper is generally hated by the common people, he does enjoy the support of many great and small houses and has an army of (more or less reliable) knights, courtiers, lackeys and lickspittles to support him.
Maeve Tyrell A politically savvy, scheming widow from the Reach, who has spent the last years at court, becoming the Regent's mistress and eagerly encouraging his ambitions to depose his nephew. She has been a relentless devil on the Usurper's shoulder, while enjoying the luxury of sharing the bed of a king.
Harrion Greyjoy The youngest son of the Lord of Pyke. A pragmatic and hedonistic guy, who has spend much of his youth sailing along the coast of Essos, before settling down in the capitol and offering his services to the Regent. He doesn't particularly care, who sits on the Iron Throne, but enjoys his luxurious lifestyle and the fact that he can extort and harass people under the King's protection.
Princess Aelys The Usurper's daughter. Being a soft and gentle soul, she has never been quite comfortable with her father's crual streak. But she has been raised to be a good daughter, who should honour, respect and obey her father...

βΎ Even before the Regent had his nephew disappear and crowned himself King, the people of the Seven Kingdoms were quite unhappy with his rule. His iron-fisted rule, oppressive taxes and the...suspicious circumstances surrounding his ascend have ruffled some feathers among nobles and commoners alike, although nobody has openly rebelled....yet.
Cassia Velaryon Cassia was raised at the royal court and, being only slightly older, was a close friend to the prince, while growing up. His sudden death did hit her hard, but she was quick to suspect foul play and left King's Landing in secret, to scour the countryside for proof of her suspicions.
Alicent "the Fox" The Kingswood is home to a surprising number of outlaws. While some are hardened, dangerous criminals, some are just desperate smallfolk, fleeing poverty and injustice to live a freer life in the forests. Alicent was born in the woods, the last in a long line of poachers and petty bandits, making a somewhat comfortable living by hunting the occasional robbery....Until she stumbles over a wounded prince...
Serena Whent The Lady of Harrenhal was the first noble to question the death of the prince. A cautious (some might say "paranoid") person by nature, she has not openly rebelled yet, but royal tax collectors and vocal supporters of the Usurper in her domain often fall suspiciousl often victim to bandits or tavern brawls.
