How Long Have I Been Writing/Roleplaying?
I've been writing on and off for the better part of a decade, maybe more, and have been roleplaying throughout as well. I've sorely missed fleshing out characters and stories with others, so I'm officially back after a long hiatus!
Response Length?
I tend to write anywhere from a few paragraphs to a novella, just whatever I feel is appropriate for given the context, or how inspired I am. I hope for the same in my partner, as I don't enjoy one liners or simply a short, singular paragraph. I crave detail and learning the inner workings of your character's mind.
Reply Schedule?
I'm not sure thus far about how often I will be able to reply. I've got responsibilities to take care of during most of the day, however I should be able to respond at least once or twice a day, if not more. If something comes up and I won't be able to, I will let you know.
Pairings?
- M x F - Prefer playing the female role here. Submissive.
- F x F - Either, though I have limited experience with this one.
More story than smut is an absolute must for me. I love slow burn, angst, and things of the like, and that tends to need more build up. 70/30, 80/20, or even 90/10 are perfect story/smut ratios for me. Edit: I need more story then smut, period. I cannot enjoy a purely smutty roleplay/porn with little plot. I require that build up, that sweet, thick βtension before I'm able to enjoy writing any smut. Otherwise, it's a bit hollow for me.
Original or Fandom?
I love both! As far as fandoms go, I do Canon Character x Canon Character, Canon Character x OC, and OC x OC. I have some pairings I'm interested in listed below under Fandoms. And of course, I'm perfectly happy doubling up here. I would like to note that I do have my preferred fandom pairings listed beneath said fandom, so if I only have OC x OC listings, that's what I prefer sticking to. However! I'm not against hearing your ideas, I just can't promise anything.
With more original roleplays, I like sticking to these genres: Fantasy, Medieval Fantasy, and Sci-Fi.

Most of these will just be general ideas, so I apologize for the brevity. I just don't want to get too stuck on any details unimportant to me and scare off potentional partners. I would love to take these snipits and build it up with someone, so that it's a team effort. Some, on the other hand, I maaay have gotten carried away with (lol). Will update as needed.

Alien Commander/Human Abductee*
Muse A is the Alien Commander (YC). Muse B is the Human Abductee (MC).
A world in which Muse B's life gets flipped upside down after she is abducted by actual aliens. And, as it turns out, this advanced alien race has been doing this for a long time.
Muse A would be the Commander of the ship that is responsible for abducting Muse B, or at least someone of high rank. Muse A's people collect humans for a multitude of reasons, all of which we can get into in PM, but to name a couple is one, they are quite the popular pet when it comes to the rich (although they do not proudly display them as it is considered taboo) and two, they make good test subjects and a fine way to safely study human nature.
I haven't thought out everything, but basically the tenacity, resilience, and adaptability of Muse B would catch Muse A's attention. Muse A would eventually start to feel protective of this particular human and go to great lengths to keep them safe from his superiors, subordinates, and peers, despite the fact Muse B does everything in her power to make that difficult for him. Resisting, fighting, sneaking, breaking whatever she can in an attempt to free herself. Although considering they would be in space and she would be surrounded by the enemy, all the fighting and resistance would be futile anyway.
I would love to see something blossom here. It would be a slow blossom, but has the potential to be a beautiful thing. Two very different (or maybe not so different after all?) creatures from opposite sides of the galaxy. I could see many conflicts here. Muse B being resistant to Muse A's eventual kindness, believing it to be unauthentic. Muse A becoming frustrated with the traumatized Muse B's attempts to escape. And as their relationship shifts and changes, pressures from Muse A's people to treat Muse B as they do the other humans. I could see a lot of angst here and forbidden love/attraction.
When I picture these aliens, I think more along the lines of a mix between Galrans and Alteans from Voltron, but I'm open to pretty much whatever as long as it's still humanoid.

Princess* x Dragon Shifter
Muse A is a Princess (MC). Muse B is a Dragon Shifter(YC).
Muse B and his kind had been hunted to near extinction - either for their scales, venom, teeth, bounties, or simply for sport or status. If someone brought a dragon's head back to their village, it meant a whole new world of opportunity for them and their starving family, as it was an incredible feat to bring down the only creature that could compete with mankind's innovation. As years became decades, and decades became centuries, dragons became myth. Legend. Sharing a sighting of one would be met with doubt or funny looks. There were generations of people that had never seen a single one, or generally didn't believe they existed at all. The few left, including Muse B, stuck to the shadows. A once indomitable foe reduced to becoming nocturnal, avoiding detection. As human territory expanded and populations increased, it was becoming more difficult to accomplish, but for the few cunning, adaptive dragon kind left, it wasn't impossible.
Being alive for so long, with so few of his kind left, and not being able to truly stretch his wings, Muse B gets lonely. Restless. Desperate for connection. And develops maybe just a bit more than just a hint of a desire for revenge for those he'd lost to the humans. Which may be why Muse B decides he should capture the beloved Princess, Muse A, of the nearest kingdom. Thus begins our beautiful story.
We would open up upon the capture, or when the Princess wakes in the dragon's lair. Perhaps the Princess pulls a Princess Jasmine and likes to sneak out of the castle from time to time and be among the commoners and/or explore the forest along the outskirts of the kingdom, giving the shifter a chance to snatch her and add her to his collection of treasures. Very much a Beauty and the Beast type of story. I could see many potential conflicts in this. Internal, external, societal.
Muse B would be YC, and
I would play Muse A.

*NEW* Disgraced Knight/Or Your Choice x Desperate Lover*
The love of her life disappears, seemingly without a trace. In a fit of desperation to find her love she proposes a deal to/hires a capable man of once high regard, now shunned, to help her find him. As they travel from place to place following breadcrumbs, she begins to see that the man she loved so fervently wasn't that man at all. Dark secrets are revealed, betrayals.
"I need your help, sir." She confessed softly. Her head hung slightly, long locks falling and hiding her eyes that were beginning to glisten under the heavy weight of her grief. Swallowing it all back, she set her gaze, now brimming with tears of desperation, back on the man. "He's... he's just gone. It's not like him, you see. He wouldn't just leave his entire life behind-" wouldn't leave βher behind. "-without good reason. Something terrible must have happened to him - he could be kidnapped, hurt, Gods... he could even be--"
Dead. He could be dead.
She couldn't say it out loud. She refused to. It would make it all too real, and she was terrified she would lose her will to search for him. And that wasn't an option. She had to find out what happened to him, no matter the cost. Considering she'd spent her entire life sheltered, she would need guidance. And who better than a [knight?] that knew these villages like the back of his hand. Disgraced and banished to the outer ring for a number of reasons to be revealed as they descend on this journey of discovery, the man was her only option. The rumors would have most distrustful and running for the hills, but she knew that he was the only one for miles that could help her.
As they learn more about her love's secret life, the more distressed she becomes. The more split. This wasn't the man she fell in love with. If that man had ever even existed in the first place.
The two would grow closer over time, him becoming a shoulder to lean on as her world keeps getting flipped upside down, and her becoming a much needed companion to him after years of being shunned by even the community he was banished to. Maybe her lover had something to do with the [knight]'s banishment, unbeknownst to the two of them in the beginning. I just see her lover becoming an antagonist at some point as they uncover the truth about him.

*NEW* Bratty Princess* x Guard β
This one I maaaay allow a bit more smut. Still need mostly story, with plenty of buildup, etc.
The princess was high maintaince. Not just in the way her sheets needed a certain thread count, or how she demanded a new one of a kind dress for every occasion, but also in her need for constant supervision and protection. Slightly oblivious and sheltered, as well as just the slightest bit mischevious, she could find trouble anywhere. And it didn't help that she had a nasty habit of sneaking off.
Having enough of it, the king assigned a personal guard to his trouble making (attracting, more like it) daughter. There were others, of course, that rotated around the castle, but this man in particular would be glued to her side day and night. A stressful yet highly honorable and lucrative occupation that no guard in their right mind would pass up. It also meant quite the responsibility.
Thus we would begin on the guard's first day on the job, really getting a taste for the hefty responsibility he was in for. I could see a lot of different situations in which he would have to protect herself from herself, make hard decisions, and basically being a glorified babysitter. Which considering the battles he's fought and won, may be hard to swallow. But turning down a direct offer from the king wouldn't bode well for him. Personally, I see the guard being annoyed with her at first and maybe a bit detached; only focused on one thing, and that's following the king's order. But the longer he watches over her, the more she grows on him. Past annoyances become the highlight of their days.
She would be quite the handful for anyone, but when her father assigns her a personal guard and she barely gets a moment to herself, she kicks it up to an eleven. Lying, sneaking out from behind the castle's walls, even flirting with her new shadow in hopes to fluster him into letting her do whatever she wants. That, unfortunately for her, wouldn't work on the weathered guard.
I would want the guard to be a bit (or more than a bit) older than her and be seasoned in his station. Confidant, dominant, maybe stoic. As long as what she told him to do didn't put him in a position that put her out of his sight (i.e. drawing her a bath just the way she likes, hand feeding her any meals brought to her room), he would have to comply for the most part, though that would probably bother him. She would be more on the bratty side (although if you prefer her to be more sweet and compassionate, but still spoiled and sheltered, we could work that in instead). Definitely "the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one" over time.
Slowburn would be a must for me here. I can see all sorts of potentional scenarios for teasing and flirting (most likely one sided on the part of the princess in the beginning). Tensions building as having a taste of the forbidden fruit becomes all too tempting for the guard. Possible latent jealousy and protectiveness if she ends up being courted by potential suitors. I see parts of this even getting a bit dark, like some of the trouble she finds herself in that goes beyond coming face to face with ruffians outside the safety of the castle walls.
We could even explore the power dynamic here as things heat up. Him having to keep her safe and sound and sometimes having to go to the extremes to do it (tying her up - this would not happen immediately - when he gets fed up with her abandoning the castle, throwing her over his shoulder and carrying her back to safety against her wishes, killing any ruffians or just simply threats to her safety that she encounters on her escapes) all the while having to keep her happy with him to some degree. The guard would eventually be tempted to indulge some of her advances. And putting her in her place would feel lethargic after everything he had to put up with. However, deep down he would know he couldn't. If anyone found out-- if it got back to the king-- it would mean his head on a spike. A warning to other guards that fell out of line. So there is the potentional for a huge internal conflict there. He could still find other ways to put her in her place.
Super excited for this one. Let me know if you're interested!

PM me if any of these sparked interest in you, please do not respond in this thread. Feel free to tell me a bit about yourself, what your writing style is like, what you like to see in roleplays, and what pairing(s) or plot(s) you would like to talk more in depth about. I would love to hear any ideas you may have based on the above pairings or plot points.
As my interests grow and change, this thread is open to change as well. I'm just trying to dip my toe in to test the waters, so I will most likely be updating as new ideas float around my head.
Side note: I wrote all of this on mobile, so please excuse any mistakes. I've copy-pasted basically what I wrote in my RT in Requests by Males with some adjustments to Pairings, Plots, and Fandom Pairings to make it more applicable here.
- Grumpy One is Soft for the Sunshine One
- Age-Gap (everyone 18+)
- Broody Characters - as long as it's realistic feeling and not forced/too much
- Villain Gets the Girl, Hero Loses
- Anticipation
- Slow Burn
- Angst
- Dark Themes - betrayal, violence, torture, etc. (usually not between MC and YC as their relationship progresses, but in the conflicts they would face together, or what brings them together in the first place)
- Protectiveness
- Jealousy
- Scat
- Gaping
- Traditional Harems
- Rape (CNC and writing implied assault is okay, but I do not wish to write out a full rape scene)
- Cheating
- Pregnancy
