Going to keep this one short and sweet with specific cravings and plots! Refer to my main thread for all likes and dislikes and preferences! Basically this thread is for all my specific OC plots. Please message me if you’re interested!

Craving dragons so bad! I’d love to do something Fourth Wing-esque! I have a small plot in mind, wouldn’t have to be set in the world of FW.

The plot is loosely based on Hercules and Megara. How Meg basically was sent as a spy and a distraction for Herc. I want to do something like that.

MC is sent as a spy to a dragon rider college, to infiltrate for the bad guys and kind of befriends/falls in love with YC, all while YC is lowkey trying to push back against her people, who has started causing a ruckus a long time after a big war. Basically MC isn’t one of these people, but is a “sacrifice” to the people by her parents who are devoted worshippers.

I got more details to discuss, but I don’t want to give it all away here.

Older female x younger male

Muse A is on the way home from a funeral, it’s late afternoon and shes a few hours from home when a fog rolls in and on top of that some animal makes her swerve into a ditch just outside a small village.

She calls for a tow truck to come get her out, but he can’t get to her within the hour and he’s the closest in the area. After what seems like a while, a pair of headlights pull to a stop behind her. Muse B is the “mayor” of the little village shes about to drive through, he graciously helps her out and manages to get her out of the ditch. They part.

Muse A decides to stop at a small bar to wait for the fog to lift. Muse B is there as she rolls into the place, and his friends around him are starting to make bets about the new stranger, talking which one of them can leave with her and bring her home.

Muse B doesn’t participate but as he goes up to pay a tab before he goes home, he warns her about his friends’ scheme and tries to leave.

They end up leaving together.

I have more details and such to share, but that’s the basic starting point. If you’re even just a little intrigued, hit me up!

  • Hey kid, welcome to [REDACTED]!

It's the city that never sleeps and doesn't let anyone sleep for that matter, you never know what's around the next corner. Where you're either someone or a nobody.

There simply is no in between, it's a dog eat dog world, sweetheart.

The year is 3067. To put it simply, the world has gone completely ape shit. Former [REDACTED] has now turned into a dystopian wasteland, where technology has peaked, but underground. Humans have found a way to turn themselves into literal monsters. Not that they weren't before, but y'know. The illegal fighting rings have changed. They are now dominated by monsters that are controlled with the human mind through many years of developed technology. The monsters, or so-called Beasties, are real life, real flesh, real blood.

    Real pain.

Having a beast isn't for everyone, and only few can handle the life of a Pilot. Some end up as betters, sponsors, or simple medical mechanics for a team. It's not all fight, it's also a lot of play.

How does one explain piloting? Remember that movie, the one with the tall blue guys? Yeah, think Avatar, but more technical, and way more thought out (and cooler let's be real). The beasts themselves are genetically modified, with what you ask? Now that's a secret behind every team. They consist of a healthy amount of flesh, blood, and machinery. Any further questions? No? Good.

The streets of [REDACTED] are filled with whatever your heart desires. Don't trust anyone though, as I said it's a dog-eat-dog world out there.

    I warned ya'!
  • In the sprawling expanse of [REDACTED], society is stratified into three distinct tiers, each with its own unique characteristics, challenges, and social dynamics.

At the top of the hierarchy lies the Upper City, a gleaming beacon of wealth, privilege, and power that occupies the lofty heights of [REDACTED] skyline. Here, the elite few reside in opulent penthouses and luxury condominiums, shielded from the grim realities of life below by layers of security and privilege. In the Upper City, money talks, and those with enough of it can buy their way into positions of influence and authority, shaping the destiny of [REDACTED] according to their whims and desires. It's often here all the sponsors reside.

Beneath the gilded facade of the Upper City lies the gritty underbelly of [REDACTED]—the Middle City. Here, amidst the dilapidated tenements and crumbling infrastructure, the working class ekes out a living in the shadows of their affluent counterparts. The streets are teeming with life, pulsating with the energy of a community united by shared struggle and resilience. Yet, amidst the vibrancy of the Middle City, there's an undercurrent of desperation and despair, as residents grapple with poverty, crime, and societal neglect. It's a place where survival is a daily battle, and solidarity is the only currency that holds any real value.

And then there's the Bottoms— a lawless labyrinth of crumbling ruins and forgotten souls that lies beneath the surface of [REDACTED] consciousness. Here, amidst the rubble and decay, the disenfranchised and downtrodden eke out a meager existence, scavenging for scraps and fighting tooth and nail for their piece of the pie. In the Bottoms, life is cheap, and morality is a luxury few can afford. It's a place where desperation breeds depravity, and only the strongest—or the most ruthless—survive. It is also here the Beastie fights are held, as they are deemed extremely illegal by the law.

But amidst the stark divisions that define [REDACTED] social landscape, there's a common thread that binds its inhabitants together—a shared sense of resilience and defiance in the face of adversity. Whether they dwell in the lofty heights of the Upper City, the gritty streets of the Middle City, or the forsaken depths of the Bottoms, the people of [REDACTED] are united by a shared struggle for survival, and a relentless determination to carve out their own destiny in a world that seeks to crush their spirit at every turn.

  • The concept of Beasties is quite simple, a pilot has a biomechanical being that they connect to, and together they smash the shit out of their opponent. Some pilots will do a full shut down, which means that it is solely the pilot that is in control during the fight. Some like a partial more animalistic approach, meaning the pilot and their mechanic has provided the Beastie with some control over the body. But outside of the ring the Beastie has no mind of their own. But who knows? Neuro-chips are always being developed.

The Beastie is mainly mechanical, but they do also consist of organic components. Flesh, blood, muscle. Those kind of things. They wouldn't look half as badass without it. Sure, it's slightly messy, but the crowd loves it. The Beastie can never truly die, it can be incredibly damaged to the point the body may be scrapped, but everything else stays in a database where it can always be pulled out and put into another body. That just means a pilot needs to learn a new technique, which can sometimes end a career.

That's where medical mechanics come in. Often retired from piloting, but with so much knowledge to share. Medical mechanics are the unsung heroes behind the scenes, ensuring that both Pilots and their monstrous counterparts are in peak condition for battle. Their responsibilities are varied and multifaceted, encompassing both the technical expertise of a skilled mechanic and the compassionate care of a seasoned medic.

At the forefront of their duties is the maintenance and repair of the Beastie itself, as well as monitoring the pilot while they are connected. Armed with a keen understanding of mechanical engineering and genetic manipulation, mechanics possess the necessary skills to diagnose and address any issues or malfunctions that may arise with their team's Beastie. From conducting routine inspections and tune-ups to performing complex repairs and upgrades, mechanics are the guardians of their team's most valuable asset, ensuring that it remains in optimal condition for fights.

Whether treating minor injuries sustained during training sessions or administering life-saving interventions in the midst of a fierce battle, MM's are the first line of defense against the myriad dangers that lurk within the arena. In essence, MM's are the backbone of any Beastie fighting team, blending technical expertise with unwavering compassion to ensure the health and well-being of both Pilots and their Beastie.

In the cutthroat world of Beastie fighting, sponsors from the Upper City play a pivotal role in the success and survival of a Pilot and their team. As the financial backers and benefactors of these formidable warriors, sponsors assume a multitude of responsibilities that extend far beyond writing checks and cashing in on victories. First and foremost, a sponsor serves as the lifeblood of their sponsored Pilot, providing the necessary resources and support to ensure their continued success in the arena, as well as behind the scenes.

A Pilot wouldn't be anything with his mechanic, well a mechanic wouldn't be anything without a sponsor. This includes funding for training facilities, equipment upgrades, and medical expenses. Beyond financial assistance, sponsors also act as mentors and advisors, offering guidance and strategic counsel to help their Pilot navigate the treacherous waters of [REDACTED] underground fighting scene. Sponsors provide invaluable insights into the intricacies of the sport, helping their Pilot devise winning strategies and outmaneuver their opponents.

In addition to their role as mentors, sponsors also serve as ambassadors for their sponsored Pilot, leveraging their connections and influence to secure lucrative endorsement deals, media opportunities, and sponsorship agreements. Through strategic branding and marketing initiatives, sponsors work tirelessly to elevate their Pilot's profile and expand their reach beyond the confines of the fighting ring.

Last but not least. The pilot. What many aspire to be, but rarely end up as. A Pilot, the linchpin of any Beastie team, embodies a unique blend of skill, courage, and symbiotic connection with their monstrous counterpart. At the heart of their role lies the ability to bridge the gap between human and Beastie, forging a bond that transcends mere partnership and borders on the supernatural.

The duties of a Pilot extend far beyond the confines of the ring, encompassing a myriad of responsibilities that require equal parts finesse and fortitude. Before stepping foot into the arena, a Pilot must undergo rigorous training to hone their reflexes, sharpen their strategic sharpness, and deepen their understanding of their Beastie's capabilities.

This entails hours of simulation exercises, sparring matches, and intensive mental conditioning aimed at achieving a harmonious synchronization between Pilot and Beastie. Once in the heat of the fight, the Pilot assumes control over their Beastie with a fluidity and precision that borders on instinctual.

Every movement, every command is executed with a clarity of purpose, guided by an unspoken rapport that transcends verbal communication. Whether unleashing a devastating barrage of attacks or executing a tactical retreat, the Pilot orchestrates the ebb and flow of combat with a masterful hand, drawing upon their own skills and instincts to complement the strengths and weaknesses of their Beastie.

Both in and out of the ring, a Pilot assumes the mantle of leader, overseeing the day-to-day operations of their team with a blend of authority and empathy. They liaise with sponsors, negotiate contracts, and strategize for upcoming matches, all while maintaining a vigilant eye on the ever-shifting dynamics of [REDACTED] underground fighting scene. In essence, a Pilot is more than just a warrior; they're a guardian, a strategist, and a beacon of hope in a world consumed by darkness where the line between man and monster grows increasingly blurred.

So, I don't really have a plot, the above is just more world building and trying to paint a picture of this idea, which may inspire an idea. It's kind of cyberpunky and dystopian. Pretty inspired by Arcane and obviously Love, death + Robots the "Sonnie's Edge" episode.

Basically I was thinking exes-turned-competitors kind of thing where they at one point were on really good terms but something happened between them and now they can't stand each other. Something along those lines. We can absolutely discuss it and come up with something interesting. Dm me!
