End a stupid argument for me:

So my friend and I have found ourselves in a stupid argument that I imagine can be put to rest by just putting it to a group consensus. What colour is this characters hair?

To me, it's a faded dark pink.

I tend to look into the shadowed parts of the hair to get a better indication of the colour. The parts in the front are brightened too much by the lighting.

I'd say it's white, but reading the above comments does make me see the faint pink-ish hues.

What does your friend claim the colour is? I can imagine an argument that it's white or platinum, but compared to the white bandages around her arms -- which are exposed to as much light as her bangs in the first image --, it's distinctly more pinkish. Plus, as Sync said, the shaded parts that aren't under direct lighting have an even clearer pink hue.

She claims the hair is grey, with only the shaded parts being remotely pinkish. I personally see the pinkish colour all over both. I just don't know how to convince her of it. It is a character that in other pictures has more grey/ashen blonde hair, but I can't help but feel like she is conflating what the colour is supposed to be versus what it clearly is in the above pictures.

Looks a lot like really faded dark pink or really super light purple in the first but the second looks more pink

Looking at just these two pictures, pink. But the more I look at the other art of her, I'd say it was meant to be a stylized silver.

her bandages are clearly white and grey in the shaded areas, and her hair is a different colour entirely; that should be all the evidence needed to determine that her hair isn't white or grey in my opinion.

So, I think I somewhat get where your friend is coming from. The lighter parts of the top of the girl's hair are both white and then on the "greyer" end of the spectrum.



Like, in the top part of that photo you could say that the shade it is there is leaning more towards grey than pink. It's definitely a pink-ish grey, but it IS ALSO grey-ish.

I think it's more important that the rest of the hair is closer to a purple-y pink. Like, the lighter/greyer/whiter parts are very clearly just highlights of the hair and so the overall intention very clearly is that she has pink hair.
