Daniel took a deep breath of the fresh forest air, he always enjoyed being out in nature, lucky for him there was quite a large forest just outside of his backyard, but life was always a little boring in his small town, nothing every really happened, that is until he heard a sound, it sounded like a cat at first, but he realized quickly that it was a wild animal, a fox to be exact, the poor creature must have been desperate enough to go after a deer or something simliar, and paid the price on its horns, kneeling near it he frowned, althought it was instantly defensive he managed to show he meant it no harm, gently stratching the fox's chin he looked it over, it wasnt bleeding or anything but it must have been badly beaten because it couldnt even standing, taking a deep breath he carefull picked it up in both arms and jogged quickly towards his small house.
a few hours later he had made a makeshift bed and laid the fox in it, rubbing his arm he thought about what he could feed it, finding a small can of tuna he put it near the fox, hoping it would be able to eat.
