Question What are some tips and tricks for Bluemoon that are not commonly known?

I'm fairly new to the site but I love to tinker and try out new things. A while back I saw someone posting 'interesting' gifs instead of a boring 'bump' to bump their thread and I've adopted that for my own request threads.

Another thing I found out is that you can organize your PM threads in conversation folders which really helps to find things much quicker.

I wonder if any OGs have any other insights?

Interesting gifs do bump up page load times. Not an everyone problem but worth remembering for the slowpokes...

There's the handy source playground a bit hidden in preferences and you can message yourself to leave notes and such. Might be obvious but hey! Things can be missed especially if you just don't think of them.

There's a world of more or less universal emojis which can work for little visual flairs, copy paste and go and they will become larger, become links, do a lot of things under the spell of bbcode without going all-in on fancy themed graphics.

And if you're just not into blue and prefer something lighter there's a default theme option at the way bottom left where it says Shades of Blue. My eyes hurt thinking about it, but it does exist!

If you highlight a message you can pull out quotes very easily. Works on mobile or desktop.

Another thing I found out

You just highlight the text you want to quote

and a little dialog box will appear saying, "quote so and so." Click that and it will quote just your highlighted text.

Also falls under the, "maybe everyone knows that but some people might not," category.
