☕️ Welcome to my . . . Request Thread.
Hello you! Thank you for clicking on my thread.
Currently on the hunt for two or maybe three like-minded partners for a collaborative story-writing adventure.

Firstly, a bit about me; feel free to call me
Kai. Twenty-four years old, grumpy, and sleepy mother of four very needy kitties. I've been roleplaying for longer than I'd like to admit, but I'm just now coming back from a hiatus I took back in August of 2024. I enjoy reading romance, though I've also started getting into these very cute paint-by-number canvases so I've been doing lots of painting too! Generally, my responses range from 500 words to 1,000+ words depending on the scene, though they usually start on the shorter side and grow as the roleplay goes on. While in theory, I may sound like the perfect roleplay partner to some of you, however, I would like to stress an important thing that will certainly drive some of you away. I am an incredibly slow-paced writer, so if you are looking for posts every day then I am certainly not the partner for you. Real life will always come first for me, and with being a newlywed, working full-time, and the eight million other things I generally have to do throughout the day; stressing about replying to a roleplay is definitely not at the top of my list. Roleplaying is a hobby that I enjoy greatly, and I won't let it become a stressor in my life. If you are thinking, "Wow! She's perfect, I'm usually the kind that wants one post per day but I think I can wait!" I implore you to think again. There is no issue in wanting fast-paced responses, you just won't get them from me. ( Hence why I'm really only looking for a select few to write with. ) I am able to get responses in every two to three days, usually multiple times a day depending on your own post speed. I will always let you know if I cannot respond for longer than four days. EDIT: I do now offer scheduled rapid-fire sessions on Sundays and Fridays. Once February comes around I will be able to offer Mondays as well, however for the time being the only time I'm able to offer these sessions is on Sundays and Fridays. These should be scheduled at least four days in advanced, and will last anywhere between one and five hours.

My interests are pretty simple; I
love romance with heavy slow-burn. That build-up of passion, desire, and obsession really pulls me in! I do not shy away from sex scenes either, but I'm more into plot-driven stories than stories that are just full of sex. Proper build-up and believable chemistry between our characters is absolutely needed in order for me to be interested in initiating a sex scene, so don't just throw in sex unless we've talked about it. (F-List)With that being said, I am currently on the hunt for stories that take place in small towns and/or have a country theme to them. I've been hip deep in cowboy romance books and would love the opportunity to create a story of my own. Within the spoiler below I have my expectations, please do give them a read if you're going to be reaching out to me. (Placed within spoiler due to length.)

  1. You: I don't care about your gender IRL, I just ask that you're capable of playing a well-written male character. I would also prefer if you were 21+, especially if we are to write smut scenes together.
  2. Characters: While this does depend on what kind of plot we do, one thing I've really been cracking down on is having characters that aren't super young meaning I'd like our characters to be at least 25+. I just really don't have any interest in playing characters that are young and naïve and would love to play some characters that maybe already have their shit together. (Huge fan of age gaps, and while I prefer to play the younger one out of the two I also have no qualms with playing a woman in her 40s/50s.) One thing I do want to mention that is incredibly important to me is that my female human characters will almost always be on the chubbier side/plus-sized. It is the most appealing for me and if you cannot get past it in order to enjoy the roleplay I suggest not reaching out to me.
  3. Plotting/Story Building: As much as I love plotting and coming up with ideas, I'm also looking for someone who feels the same and has no issue letting me know when they don't like an idea. Don't let me steamroll with my ideas if you don't like them, and introduce your own as well! I also really enjoy structured roleplay with clear objectives and an eventual end goal. While I appreciate the creativity that comes with adding new ideas and side plots (and would love to add them in so don't be afraid to suggest them if you have them!) I also prefer narratives that have an end goal in sight. I believe that all stories have their own natural conclusion, and I really value the opportunity to explore character development within that framework. If you're interested in building a rich, engaging story that ultimately comes to a satisfying close, we'll likely be a great match!
  4. When Messaging Me: This might just be me being picky! With that being said, I am of the firm belief of first impressions being important. To me, nothing is worse that receiving a message, getting excited about it, only to open it and find "Hey, wanna rp?" Of course I do! I'm on here for a reason. What is your name? What are your roleplay preferences? Anything from my thread that piqued your interest? If getting information out of you is like pulling teeth, I'm more likely to just reject roleplaying with you.
  5. Writing Preferences: This is pretty simple; I'm comfortable writing third and first POV however I am more experienced in third. I fluidly write a mix of past and present tense, however if you have a preference I can stick to either. I'm very flexible! While I consider myself advanced, on a happy day my posts regularly reach around 500 - 1000+ words. I am more than capable of writing 2000+, but that's purely based on circumstance. I would prefer if my partners are capable of writing 500+, however I do not accept anything below 400. I would also prefer if you have an acceptable grasp of grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I at least need to understand what you're trying to say.
  6. Sex Scenes: I am incredibly comfortable with writing out sex scenes, and actually love writing out detailed scenes rather than fading to black. However, I stay within a strict ratio of 30:70, the smaller being how much smut there should be. I love the residual build-up of tension between the characters after heavy character development and connections being made. If the story turns into a random pile of filth, I lose interest pretty quickly. I do not write smut out of pleasure or anything like that, but mainly because I get to the point where I ship our characters so hard all I can think about is when they finally snap! That requires a ton of build-up, and I will not hesitate to block you if you're being weird.

I don't have many plots, but they are generally the sort of vibe I'm looking for. If none of my plots interest you, please feel free to come with your own as long as they align with my interest! (If one of my plots is striked through, it just means I have found a couple of roleplays for them and do not wish to have anymore.)

Tropes I love:
  • Height/Size Difference
  • Enemies to Lovers
  • Friends to Lovers
  • Age Gaps
  • Second Chance
  • Slow Burn Romance
  • Forced Proximity
  • There Was Only One Bed
  • Runaway Bride
  • Opposites Attract/Sunshine x Grumpy/Black Cat x Golden Retriever
  • Fated Mates
  • Touch Her and Die

I do not write:
  • Pregnancy/Parenting Plots
  • My character being a spy or assassin

  1. Your Character has always dreamt of joining the army and despite being in a happy and loving relationship with My Character for the entirety of their high school lives, he never planned on changing that dream of his. Unfortunately, My Character always dreamt of taking over her family's bakery. So, once they graduated high school they went their separate ways. Your Character left their little town, and My Character stayed. Years later, Your Character is medically discharged and comes back to his home town needing a fresh start. Without much going for him, he's pushed to apply as an overnight worker at the local bakery and now finds himself working alongside My Character. While they ended their relationship on amicable terms, old feelings begin to emerge and their late night work routines slowly begin to reignite their once blossomed romance.
  2. After losing her job, her husband, her house, and practically her entire life My Character finds herself on to road to join her maternal aunt in the little town her mother grew up in hoping for a new start. Of course, as if things couldn't get any worse, just outside the town My Character finds herself parked on the side of the road after her car breaks down. Just as she was about to give up hope, a semi pulls up behind her and she thinks she's saved! Except, she's not, and with an empty road like that the truck driver reveals himself to be slimy and looking to take advantage of the situation. Before anything terrible can truly happen, Your Character literally rides up on his fiery stead and saves the day. Your Character is the local sheriff and was making his rounds, taking a chance on one of the back roads and rescues My Character.
  3. My Character wanted to leave her small town the minute she graduated high school, and that's exactly what she did. With the years that have passed, she always thought living in the city would make her successful but she finds herself heading back home after an injury she'd keeping close to her heart. My Character gratefully takes a room on her brother's ranch and meets Your Character, his right hand man and best friend. After a misunderstanding, there's clear tension and a forming dislike between the two of them. However, as My Character slowly begins to pick herself back up she finds herself becoming closer to Your Character ultimately ending in them forming feelings for one another. The only issue is My Character's brother, who's over-protective over his baby sister.
  4. Since they were young, Our Characters were taught to stay away from one another's family. Their farms had been rivaling one another for generations, and it seemed their families were hell-bent on continuing this wicked tradition of insisting the two families couldn't get along. Member's of each family couldn't even be in the same bar without a fight breaking out, which happened more often than not with their little town. They were supposed to hate one another, despise each other and spit venom like no other. But alcohol seems to love pushing people together. On a late Saturday evening, after plenty of drinks, Your Character and My Character find themselves pressed against the men's bathroom wall sharing an intimately steamy kiss that will change their lives forever.
  5. My Character thought she had it all. She was so happy with her life, her career, her fiancé. Things were supposed to be perfect, it was her wedding day after all. However, after walking in on her fiancé and maid of honor in an intimate situation, My Character finds herself skipping town and running away from it all. When her car breaks down, she ends up in the truck of an older woman who needs help doing things around her home so that her son isn't forced to take care of herself and can live the life he wants to. It's perfect timing, and the older woman ends up hiring My Character as her new care-taker. Her son, Your Character, is rather wary of this woman who just showed up and is suddenly taking care of his mother. He finds it fishy, doesn't like it, and doesn't like her. With intentions of sabotaging her and getting her to leave, Your Character ends up finding himself caring about this random woman that suddenly showed up in his life.

I'm happy to roleplay in either PMs or threads, whichever you prefer! If you're interested in writing together, please reach out and do not comment on this thread. Thank you!
