Hey hey,
So I'm looking for roleplays centering around my (human) character and a monster character. This could be anything from a werewolf, minotaur, centaur to a King Kong type of character - we can discuss that more according to what you have in mind and what you'd like to play. The only thing I'm not very into are any kind of slime/alien sort of monsters. I also prefer them to be able to communicate with my character at least on some intelligent level rather than them just being mindless beasts.
Anyway, I have a few things I'd like to bring up here regarding my roleplay style:
- I prefer longer replies to one-liners. I can write anything between 400 - 1000+ words in a reply, whatever feels appropriate in the scene. Obviously I'm not going to count every word you write, but I do get easily bored if all I get in reply is a few lines.
- 3rd person only, I'm not really into 1st person replies
- I like to plot and plan things out, so we both know where we're going, are able to really contribute to the roleplay and we can be sure it's going in a direction we both like. Obviously this doesn't mean we have to plan out every little detail so we'll have plenty of room for surprises as well, but just the overall plot and what we want to do with our scenes
- I can't reply every day. I don't expect you to, either, but I do prefer having at least 2-3 replies a week rather than having weeks or even a month in between replies. Of course it's understandable sometimes life happens and whatnot, but on average I like at least a few posts a week
- I prefer playing in PMs rather than in threads. This is more of a comfort thing for me though, so it's negotiable

Below I have a few ideas of my own, but I'm also open to hearing more about any ideas you might have. Also my f-list is here, do have a look.
Ideas:
1) The humans have kept creatures of all kinds as their servants, laborers and slaves for centuries. They do not believe these beasts to be anything more than animals to be used for human gain, and the harsh conditions have made YC's kind increasingly discontent in their lives. The tensions have finally come to a point where YC leads a full-blown rebellion against the humans - he's served under MC's father all his life and now decides to make an example of MC, the spoiled daughter.
2) MC is an archeologist, working in the ancient ruins of what is rumored to be the Minotaur's Labyrinth. She finds her way deeper into the depths of the labyrinth, until she discovers something she never thought would be real. YC has been waiting in the shadows for a day when he might be freed.
3) YC is the unwilling protector of MC's empire. He was trapped by the royal guard when he was still too young to defend himself and his survival depends on the cooperation with these pesky humans. MC is a young and perhaps yet naïve queen, and YC sees his chance in her to rise from captivity.
4) Monsters aren't real, everyone knows that. Until one of them is sighted much too near a human city. MC is a part of the team sent to observe and learn more about this new species recently discovered, but when she gets separated from her team and runs into YC, her life is about to take a turn she never expected.
5) The wars between YC's kind and the human kingdom have been going on for decades. Both sides know there has to be a ceasefire, but so far it has been difficult to find any common ground. Finally the human king offers his daughter, MC, to YC's kind as a bride for an alliance through marriage. She is given to YC, an honored warrior among his kind, but she will now have to grow used to the entirely different lifestyle she's offered at her new home.
