Recently my friends and I started a new D&D campaign centered around an attack on a Dwarvish city by invading Drow forces, so for research I had a quick look into Dark Elf culture online.
Unsurprisingly, there's decades of evolving lore to go over, from pantheons to family dynamics to a recognizable language.
One of the things that stood out to me, though, was a look into Drow sexuality.
For a quick overview, their perception of recreational sex, as well as anything else, is viewed almost exclusively through the lens of dominion and status.
To be on top, to *fuck the daylights* out of a political enemy or ally on a similar footing to yourself is to prove, in one of many ways, that that you are more worthy of respect.
The act is generally violent. The resource I'm referencing describes "ambush tactics" of sexual encounters and the slaying of mates after it's done in crueler cases.
Sex for love's sake is considered shameful and poisonous (their word for love has a close link to their word for "doom"), and women of high status who fall in love will ruthlessly drive out the emotion or desperately keep it a secret, lest their paramour becomes a bargaining chip in the hands of rivals.
Marriage is a foreign concept, though *jaluk* who are very physically powerful may be kept around to rear several strong children.
One interesting anecdote I read mentions that a Drow will almost never fuck with their back turned to their partner if they can help it, since their culture is so screwed up and mired in murderous intrigue that they assume everyone has a knife hidden behind their back, and are unwilling to put themselves in such a vulnerable position.
Now, as a *character* writer, this was a goldmine for scenes involving characters playing at the game of houses, trying to survive in a horrible, repressive society. Of maybe people with good hearts who had mercy and kindness stomped out of them in favor of cruelty and supremacist ideals- Of radicalization, pain, and maybe redemption down the line if set into a new, softer environment.
As a smut writer, though, the image of a Drow from a noble family glaring daggers while a human male she wouldn't have considered capable of higher thought rubbing smooth circles over her soaked cunt with thick, strong fingers while her legs shake?
Growling that she's better than him, to pick up the pace, treater rougher, she's not made of glass like those "overlander strumpets?"
The image of her squeezing her eyes shut while her human companion prepares to take her from behind, reaching behind her to squeeze his arm for fear and shame over the submission, the tenderness, and the feelings that come with it, while being determined to prove her trust in him, even if he doesn't know it, is *fantastic.*
So I'd like to explore these little moments! A human character (or otherwise, depending on your preference) playing against someone who's sexual customs are very foreign to him.
Obviously the Human x Drow pairing is a preference; there are a ton of potential scenes for a haughty, egomaniacal young Drow woman to "court" a human her people's way, ambushes and all, while they're traveling together and slowly coming around to the idea of trying something out.
Add the difficulties they might have during the act, and both of them compromising and resolving into something that resembles something healthy!
Of course if you're just looking for something fun and less light on the romantic or dramatic aspects, I'm happy to try this in a variety of scenarios, with a variety of inter-species pairings!
I imagine Goblins specifically have a similar pecking order to Drow, but without the baggage of keeping up appearances and putting an edge of refined, detatched coldness to their encounters.
If two Goblin warchiefs meet up for a joint attack, you *know* they're going to attempt to bully each other, right down to one bullying a fat, thick load in the other.
Of course, the loser would take this as a mild insult, a frustrating loss of potential status, and pout about it, but they'll nevertheless jump when the other chief says "toad."
So when a reasonably-large Goblin army is at a human city's gates and an ambassador is sent with the full expectation of being mounted on a stick for his troubles, we can see it slowly dawn on him that he's not going to spending his time drafting written treaties with their leaders when he gets into the camp and negotiations begin.
Maybe (and this is stolen from a porn comic) Wood Elf men aren't well-endowed at all, and anything past two or three inches is met with shock, amazement, and mild terror when a Wood Elf girl finally has her human (or, God forbid, orc) boyfriend's pants off. Shuddering and locking up when he grinds his cockhead against her entrance, up and down, while he has his hand on her cheek, directing her to watch, or on her inner thigh or lower stomach to massage, relax her.
It could really be as simple as a language barrier. Trying to figure out how to flirt with nothing but a few remembered dwarvish or common words and some wandering eyes, leading to a messy, hips-clapping pounding with both shouting what could be expletives, declarations of love or urges to keep going for all the other knows.
That uncertainty doesn't stop them from getting a room in a tavern to break another bedframe and ruin the sheets again, and again, and again...
