Hiya! I'm Ginger, I've been away from here for several months due to personal reasons and taking time to myself. I've got everything sorted now and hopefully I'm here to stay - I'm not flaky just life has gotten in the way recently so I've been so busy, albeit down in the dumps as well, but here I am, back and ready to go! Keep reading down to learn more about me and my RPing skill set, some requirements I ask of my future partner(s) and what I'm looking for, along with my pairings, fandoms, and a plot or two I had in mind I'd be interested in giving a shot. Hey! So as it says between the lines, my name is Ginger (not my real name but what you can refer to me as). I am thirty years old and live in the Tennessee area, central standard time zone to give you an idea of my time zone. I have two girls, 11 and 3. I work full time at a daycare center with infants through the week and babysit part time on the side on the weekends and some weeknights for a little extra income. I've been RPing since I was 12, starting off on a site called Cartoon Doll Emporium and then moving to something called RPOL and have just been here and there. I've done all genres but the one I'm just not a fan of is anything scientific. I don't care for it in real life in my shows or movies or books much less wanting to act it out online. I'm a HUGE book nerd and absolutely love to read, so if you're the same big brownie points. I tend to stick to female characters because I'm one in real life (obviously, duh) and just find to do those rules better and with more justice but that doesn't mean I'm not open to male roles as well just not solely playing one. I don't want to get into my requirements, because that'll all be hashed out into a totally different section. I'm pretty much an open book, but there are certain aspects of my real life I'll keep private as well. Anyways, I think that is all I have to say here. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and hopefully as we continue to potentially RP together in the future we can get to know each other better!

* Please, don't god-mod. All seasoned RPers should know what this means. Do not control my character or their actions and I'll do the same with you. It's disrespectful and just downright rude, as well.
* As I've stated before, I prefer to play the female roles as I'm one myself. I'm also open to doubling characters, playing one female and one male role but as far as playing a single male lead I just don't think I can do it justice and carry on an adequate roleplay. That being said, I am open to FxF pairings as well.
* I'm not flaky, I swear, I'll do my very best to give you a heads up if I'll be gone for more then 48 hours at a time, and I ask the same although I know life happens and sometimes it can't be helped. I'll do my very best to get you at least 2-3 replies a day if I possibly can. I, of course, don't ask the same but if you could at least once a day that'll be perfect. Again, I get life gets in the way and some things just can't be helped.
* I like to consider myself a casual to high casual writer, meaning I'll do at least a couple, if not more, paragraphs and that is one thing I ask the same of. I can't stand one liners and it is one way to quickly ruin the RP and make me uninterested real quick.
* I can play through threads or PMs, but they are the only two I'll do so please don't ask about Discord or e-mail, neither of which I'm a fan of and, well, who honestly uses messengers anymore?
* I don't like 100% smut driven stories, I like there to be an equal balance of 50% smut. 50% romance. It makes for a very boring story if all the characters are doing is boning each other and there isn't a good story line going.
* If we do any fandoms, I prefer to stick to original characters, I just don't care for playing canons, that being said if we played a descendant of a said canon that'd be alright, just as long as it isn't that character personally.
* I absolutely will not, and I mean will NOT do incest! Stepsiblings/parents I can do but anything where they're blood is a hard NO!
* I consider myself a more submissive type role. I can attempt playing a more dominant one, but can't promise I'd be very good at it.
* Please shoot me a PM if you are interested and from there we can work the rest of the details out!

Y/C is the powerful CEO of one of the most successful software agencies in the bustling city of New York, M/C is a bartender at a very exclusive bar, where only the more elite of the elite go. You had to be a member, and it cost thousands to be one. Y/C and M/C have known each other a good year, but only in passing. He was a regular patron to this club, so she knew his usual drink order by heart. However, Y/C had a knack for showing up at the worst possible times when M/C would be having a conversation, most of them sexual jokes with her friends and co-workers. Being from a very wealthy and well known bloodline, Y/C's family expects him to marry someone of equal wealth, not a bartender who taught piano to needy kids in her free time and who lived in a tiny studio apartment, whom never knew a life of luxury.
Despite his best efforts to stay away from her, something about M/C just keeps drawing him in. Could it be her beautiful smile? The way she carried herself? The two butted heads because of their very different lifestyles, and M/C knows that her little infatuation with him is doomed, but she can't help herself, either. Will he let go of some of that power to be happy with someone of 'lesser' status?
I know it isn't much to go in, it's loosely based off one of the 'Kings of Sin' book by Ana Huang, the second in the series. There is still room to add whatever we wanted and such! It's a work in progress.
Blood Ties
Arranged marriages, still a common practice, especially among mafia families and even more so among rival mafia families as some sort of 'peace treaty'. M/C is the daughter of the Alberto Lucchese, a feared crime boss in New York. He was feared, known, and no one wanted to cross him, but M/C's relationship with him had always been strained as well as with her mother, who was the perfect little obedient wife and bowed to her father's every wish and command. It was also a well known fact that he had a big gambling problem, and ended up in some deep trouble with the Chicago faction, he had some serious buried debt with Y/C, owing him a lot of money.
In order to pay all the debt off and not go broke, Alberto offered his only daughter to Y/C, who accepts. M/C is furious, and hurt that her father gambled her off to pay his debts. It was either she agrees to go, or her whole family is murdered in cold blood, so she chose the former to protect her mother and older brother. She is sent to live with Y/C, but everything isn't rainbows and butterflies. He's lethal, dangerous, and cold. He sees M/C as a means to an end, something to keep his bed warm. He knew marrying her he'd be a step closer to invading and taking over New York, since her name would be forever tied to his, which worked in his favor.
What he didn't expect was M/C to thaw his icy heart, which she would do. It also makes it more dangerous because he, too, has many enemies out there who would love to know his greatest weakness- her.
