Cyberpunk Alterna: The Bright New Star of Night City [Tenzai vs Shoko]

<I was hoping you would say that. It would be problematic if you agreed without a second thought.> The suit swirled his glass, unbeknownst to Taiga's lewd activities. The sudden pauses in her speech didn't seem to matter to him much. <I intend on visiting sometime. Preferably in private among those you deem are trustworthy.> TJ smirked, starting to figure out that Taiga was on a call with someone. He didn't particularly hold much respect for anyone else other than Ueno and Taiga. Instead, he found this as an unique opportunity to rail his favorite hole while she held a front: An opportunity to indulge in a sort of lewd fantasy that dwelled usually on the front pages of a typical porn site.

<I would typically bring wine but we both know a paper trail won't do us any good. Would sometime this evening suffice?> "Tai~ Tai!" TJ couldn't help himself from moaning out her name. The constant pleasure derived from each tight pull of her muscles working on his member ruined the usual constraints in his mind. He was blind to all but her sensations. He was entrapped in her being, growing forever more obsessed with defiling her in every position. "You're so fucking good to me."

As her eyes glowed, he began ramping up his assault, causing Taiga to moan louder and louder, back arched, fingers gripping the sheets under her. "T...!" She moaned out. <Y-Yeah...sure...see you then...I'll try and come up with some ideas we can work with in the meanwhile...> She replied before disconnecting the call. Her tits flailed heavily up and down, clapping against one another as his massive cock slammed against her womb. Her brain was overwhelmed with pleasure as her belly bulged with each thrust. Her tongue hung out and her eyes rolled behind her head as the headboard slammed against the wall over and over again. Blue hearts began to form in her eyes again as his every thrust felt like a battering ram inside of her. The proceedings continued for a while, both of them repeatedly cumming over and over but never stopping.

Eventually, they finally finished. They ended up taking a shower together only to fuck more within the shower. Another 15 minutes passed and eventually they both came out, both of them with a happy buzz about them. She got dressed, made her way down stairs. She was in a half buttoned dress shirt and under it a pair of underwear she borrowed from her sister only...Taiga's chest really put a strain on the fabric. She noticed the other three had just returned from whatever they were doing which was mighty convenient for her. As they entered through the elevator door, Taiga smiled, reaching the last step into the livingroom. "Nice timing~ When you're all settled we need to talk about something so gather around here." She said, referring to the U shaped couch that surrounded a black squared coffee table. She sat down on the black couch, legs crossed and arms sprawled out on the spine of the couch. She threw her head back, hair cascading down the back of the couch as she watched her little sister. Shina's very existence was enough to put a smile on her face. She was so adorable and her bubbly and happy go lucky personality was just so very invigorating to the battle hardened merc. "You have fun there, cutie?" She asked the ever cheerful Shina.

Every time she looked upon that face of hers, she was reminded of how far she'd go to protect that precious smile of hers. Shina was Taiga's war banner. Shina made Taiga invincible. Shina gave Taiga life. Shina gave Taiga everything. A reason to fight. A reason to smile. A reason to live. Surely enough even without Shina she could go on and still have motivations and things to do and reasons to live but Shina was more than enough of all of that. She was a princess in a land of desolation. The one source of purity remaining. She was a cause worth dying for.

Taiga closed her eyes. It was Shina. Shina was what made Taiga stronger. She made Taiga go farther, faster...and Taiga would go farther. Taiga would become the greatest legend known to mankind for her. Taiga was gonna make sure she lived like the princess she was, no matter what it took.

Yanna approached her lord, a silver tray with three empty wine glasses and a bottle of the finest Chateau Delen 2012. She placed it down on a table and sat to the other side of her lord, where her sister reached out to open the bottle and pour drinks for the three of them. She promptly took her glass and began to sip on it. "確かにマスターはずるいですね。 単純にターゲットを殺すほうが簡単なのに、あなたは長期戦を選択することになります。これは最も賢明な行動でしょうか? この計画が裏目に出た場合、あなたにとって非常に悪い結果になる可能性があります。<The master is certainly cunning. You end up choosing the long game when it would be easier to simply kill the target. Are you sure this is wise? Should this plan of yours backfire...It could end up very badly for you.>
Kizuha nodded in agreement. "私の妹が正しいです。 彼女を間近で観察してみると、彼女は危険なワイルドカード以外の何ものでもないことがわかります。 彼女は決して構造に従うことができる人ではないようです。" <I'm inclined to agree with my sister. Having observed her up close, I can tell she isn't someone who's capable of conforming to structure.>
To them, they didn't believe Taiga was the type to follow orders. It was clear that she wasn't compatible with the corporative life style. Deep down, they felt like they should use this chance to murder Taiga while her guard was down to avoid any problems in the future...but Kaine was remarkably stubborn and strange in his methods. Saburo favored dominion over all. He would never work with unstable elements. But Kaine saw these unstable elements as severe boons instead of the liabilities they seemed to be. Then again, Kaine had endless results. He never failed in his endevours and always took his time to make sure he ended up succeeding. While the girls were loyal to Saburo, he never feared them turning their blades on him and for good reason. They respected the results he invariably attained. He never sent them on boring or meaningless assignments and he didn't overly rely on them to achieve his goals. He was more than capable of getting what he wanted. He was...strangely the ideal corpo. Someone who wasn't abusive. Someone who sought victory without it being at the expense of others. A corpo who always made a win win his priority, but would be cutthroat if that wasn't possible. That, was exactly why he put so much stock in Taiga. In the brief time he spent with Taiga, he could tell she had a ridiculous sense for bullshit. Her eyes watched his lips, his eyes, his words, his motions. He felt her scrutinizing everything he did and say and when she was satisfied in her belief he wasn't lying, she became completely co-operative. In the end, it was obvious that he could easily have a demonically exceptional ally in Taiga. In fact it was better that she didn't conform to structures. 1; It made it impossible for anyone to fathom she was in fact working for Arasaka, meaning nothing she did could ever be tied back to him. 2; It meant there was no red tape getting in his way anymore, now that he had someone off the table to do his bidding. It wasn't at all unnatural for execs to hire mercs to do their bidding. In fact, it was the favoured method as it made them untouchable by law enforcement. No one would bat an eye if he hired a merc over and over and over again. All he had to do was make Taiga feel safe with him, grease her palms and the world was his oyster. To him, Taiga was the ultimate playing card given to him for free. His loyal Assassins were trapped in the mindset of a ordinary corpo exec so they couldn't really see how foolproof this plan was. It wasn't that they underestimated him or thought of him no different from every other corpo, it was just that they had a hard time separating him from the others as they were so used to the rigid mindset of a corpo. Yet their decision to follow him largely exclusively was due to their great fascination with his unique mind.

Finally, everyone had gathered around. Taiga decided to cut to the chase. "Here's the situation..." She started before pulling Shina onto her lap and wrapping her arms around her waist. "Shina...well...Shina has a bomb in her chest...This was done in order to assassinate TJ should the worse case scenario happen. We found this out when we had someone look Shina over and remove any negative shit from her body but the bomb couldn't be diffused as easily. Ueno had to pull some strings and brought in someone i could personally vouch for to help disable this bomb so it could be safely removed. The best the ripper could do was place a jammer on it to prevent it's remote detonation. Here's where things get complicated. This individual is marked for death or capture for betraying a corporation. So he's in Night City at great personal risk to his life. We got together a few days ago and he was attacked. Naturally, his survival to me is essential, as he's the only one I trust disarming the bomb in my beloved sister's chest. Earlier today, I was contacted by an Arasaka representative who offered me a solution to all of our problems. He offered to help me fake his death and collect his bounty. I also have to help him get around some red tape so he can help me achieve that goal and before any of you ask, I can assure you, he wasn't lying. Ignoring my own ability to sniff out bullshit, I also have cybernetics that can do that as well. So I basically have a two factor authentication for bullshit. He passed both checks. I decided to work with him as that would be the best possible outcome for Shina. myself and my friend. I'm gonna need to flatline someone first...in order to do this without it coming back to me...I'm planning on going under the knife again to change my appearance to match Silver's. I'll basically be a female version of him, and I'll go on to assassinate the target. This way, none of you will need to be involved. The man named Kaine, the corp, will show up here in a few hours. I'll tell him the plan and we'll go from there." She made sure to squeeze her sister, resting her chin on her shoulder. She knew what she just fking dumped onto her would be a massive shock to Shina...but she didn't have much of a choice. She closed her eyes and waited for the outburst surely to follow. "Any questions...?"

If Arasaka ever falls to cinder, it will not be the fault of outsiders but rather, a fault of within.

The end lies within three reasons:
1) Stagnation due to a fervorous adherence towards a dogma of control such as an unwillingness to work alongside unstable elements.
2) A change in priority. From that of furthering corporate ambition to fulfilling an obsession in greed.
3) A failure to adapt to the changing tides.

"I do not doubt that this plan is full of risk, and I understand and appreciate your concern." The corpo placed down his glass, straightening his suit to prepare for his upcoming meeting. As he turned around, he offered the typical smile he would offer the two whenever he needed to let them know that it would all be fine. "However, I was tasked with furthering our cause. I will do no less, regardless of the potential consequences." Kaine was a man of conviction. Interpersonal strife was only another obstacle towards achieving his ambition. "Besides. If we are incapable of harnessing powerful resources akin to that of Taiga, one day, another competitor will figure it out in our stead and I doubt they have our best intentions in mind. If I had a choice, I'd rather be on the side with the stronger weapons, no?" The suit opened up a small window into his mind. Though his true intentions still remained hidden, his logic was to some extent, infallible.

He approached the door, stopping to grab his suitcase and keys. "Truth be told, I hold no expectation that everything I perform and accomplish will be within the scope of Saburo's vision, but there's a reason why Arasaka provides me with the key resources and benefits as they do. I always bring back extraordinary results, even if my colleagues would disagree with me. Now, enough doubt, please. I've done my due diligence in risk assessment and decided that these efforts are well worth the potential consequences. If I had a choice between hearing about your worries about concerns I know well enough about or hearing your support, I'd prefer the latter. Perhaps with more alcohol and less clothing too~" Kaine waved as he left his office. As he walked towards the parking garage, other corpos avoided his gaze. He was considered a dissident by the others but he paid no mind. Even if the lower ranked corporates held no respect for his unconventional methods, he knew that the higher ups knew well about his abilities.

Once Taiga was finished delivering her rundown, TJ was the first to speak up. "So, you're telling me. To remove the bomb from Shina's chest, we have to work alongside Arasaka, disguise you as someone else, and assassinate some random ass corpo and be an Arasaka lapdog to fake Silver's death? I mean, why can't we just make him look like he committed suicide? Or better yet, can't we find some other asshole who knows his way around bombs to fix her? There has to be some other option than being a puppet that follows a corpos orders right?" He cracked his knuckles. "Or at the least, we flatline any asshole that gets in our way. Hell, we could probably nab Silver from the hospital and keep him with us until the job's done. Whatever happens after doesn't matter if she gets the bomb out right?"

Hyun placed a hand on TJ's back. "Well, I'm pretty sure that if there was some alternative option, Ueno would have brought it up. From what I heard from him, the bomb isn't a normal bomb. It needs a specialist who understands how the hardware works and well . . . The only one that could come within a reasonable time or has reasonable demands is probably Silver. Think about it T. Whoever has that much experience behind bombs are probably already hired by some fucked up corporations or are domestic terrorists. I don't think Taiga or Ueno would prefer having the other types within handling range of Shina. And well . . . One wrong step and uh . . ." His eyes turned to the nearby statue. Shina was shell shocked, frozen in fear. The last thing she expected was to have a bomb inside her. She came to realization that she was a danger to everyone she cared about around her. "We should do the best to prevent wrong steps right? For Shina, and for Taiga. And hey. If we don't help him when he needs us most, why should we expect the same from him when Shina needs him most? Who knows, he might be a good friend to have too!"

"The rook's right." Eve spoke up, crossing her legs and thinking of a plan. "Even if we were dealt a bad hand, the least we have is a chance to make it all work. Be happy that we have an option that we know of. That Silver boy is still alive and breathing thanks to Taiga's efforts. As much as it makes me squirm having to work alongside Arasaka, they're offering us a chance. Without an alternative, there's really no use in complaining." She turned towards the begrudged giant. "You should listen to your girlfriend and stop thinking of ways to mess with her plans." Eve eyed up Taiga's form. "She's already convinced that this is the best plan. What we need to offer is our support, especially if this is the only realistic option we got."

TJ crossed his arms, hearing the thoughts of the others. He wasn't used to being disagreed with. Usually, his goons listened to every plan and accepted his orders no matter how crazy they sounded. However, one glance at Taiga revealed how much this meant to her. She was serious, and though his mind seemed to still be resistant to disagreement, his heart was willing to follow Taiga towards whatever hell was next. Not even the devil himself could disparage the iron tyrant's obsession with Taiga. "Fine. . . But any small sign that the suit is fucking with us, I'm flatlining the asshole before he has a chance to pull some shit. Got it?!"

The others smiled. Even if this wasn't TJ's full cooperation, this was the best they were going to get and they knew they needed even his support to make the plan work.

While Taiga was preparing their next steps, Eve approached Shina. "It'll be alright doll. Even if everything feels overwhelming and impossible, just know that your sis-. . . Taiga is capable of making the impossible possible. Just put your faith in her, and in us." She brought Shina's hands towards her chest, offering comfort. There seemed to be a motherly side of her that truly cared about Shina. The sight of the shivering girl reminded Eve of her daughter, driving a motherly instinct to protect and care. "Taiga needs you to be strong, okay? I know you're scared dear, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, you're Taiga's strength. She needs you just as much as you need her, if not even more."

Shina nodded her head nervously. She never doubted Taiga, even before Hex's change. "I might not know everything you're going through, but that's fine if I don't. Just keep yourself safe, and. . . I believe you'll make everything right again. I believe in you! Don't hurt yourself again okay?" She looked at the others. "And make sure she's going to be fine! And. . . Make sure to come back too! After everything's over, I would like to eat and celebrate with everyone." She clutched her hands around Taiga's, offering her warmth to Taiga's chrome. "I know you got this. You always do. At the end of the day, I'll be here for you. Okay?"

Taiga closed her eyes and pressed her face against Shina's neck, hugging her tighter. "No...we can't. If we tried to fake his death on our own, Kaine would be fully aware of that possibility and well have to deal with his guards... I'm not sure if you were paying attention... but those two... those two are trouble I don't feel confident dealing with. Siding with a Corp is never a good feeling... but this is the best possible deal we're ever gonna get out of a Corp and the alternative is me possibly two v. one'ing them...No offense but somehow I get the feeling you guys won't be much help if I end up having to fight them. No this is definitely the best solution. We can't just hold him till he gets the job done either. Cutting off valuable assets like that can come back to bite you in the ass in the future. We have to play our cards the best we possibly can. Right now I'm fine with the way things are cause he's using me exactly how I'd want to be used. He plays by my rules so that I'm more willing to work with him. We have a symbiotic relationship as things stand. Neither of us want nor need conflict with one another so we're gonna play nice together while our goals align. The good thing about this plan is that it doesn't account for any of you being there either...so anyone who wants to sit this one out is more than able to."

A major thing about Taiga, was that on the inside, Taiga had no ability to trust or rely on anyone. not even his allies. Taiga always planned around doing everything all alone. It was better to plan around being alone then plan around others just to be let down or betrayed and have to fly by the seat of your pants after all. It wasn't that she expected any one of them to betray her...well at least not most of them, but it was more akin to an insurance policy. "And hey. If we don't help him when he needs us most, why should we expect the same from him when Shina needs him most? Who knows, he might be a good friend to have too!" Taiga nodded at this. "Do this for me and I'll be in your debt." "Taiga needs you to be strong, okay? I know you're scared dear, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, you're Taiga's strength. She needs you just as much as you need her, if not even more." Once again, Taiga nodded. "My sister is the most important thing to me. Her safety, her happiness, mean more to me than anything. Any support, any good done to or towards her, will be refunded in spades by me." She kissed her sister's neck and nuzzled into it. Eve played her cards well with her choice of words. Taiga was very satisfied with them. She was relieved that Shina was taking this pretty well as well. "Thank you...I'm happy to have your support. We'll all be totally fine. I promise." She patted Shina's thigh to let her know it was time to get off and stood up. She called on Kaine, causing her eyes to glow blue.

Before long, their intercom went off and Taiga was told by the receptionist that someone had arrived for him. "Send him up, please." She replied and awaited Kain. "Okay. He's coming. Please, T...best behavior."

He brought over wine just like the last visit, only this time he was alone. She was a bit surprised he was able to trust her so easily but then again...it was more likely he had Taiga read like a book...not that it was particularly closed to begin with. She welcomed him in and motioned him to the living room where they were all gathered. She spoke of her plan to alter her appearance to match a genderbent silver and she'd use that image in order to conduct the assassination. At this point, Kaine would just need to find a way to deduce that Taiga was in fact Silver and 'kill' taiga. She wanted to bounce ideas off of him. Maybe she was missing something, maybe he had a better idea.

"Alright. Relax, Tai. I won't flatline the suit." TJ sighed, leaning back against the couch. "My gun's been confiscated by Hyun and the bitch anyways. Just don't let him stay any longer than he has to. Fucking around with corpos after all we've been through makes me feel . . . weird."

Meanwhile outside, Eve was speaking with Hyun and Shina. "Okay, Shina. Always keep your gun on you. Hyun's going to take you to Ueno's for a bit while Taiga gets this op all sorted out. Think of it like you're just visiting a friend for a moment okay?~" Eve gave Taiga's blue haired sister a hug. "I'll keep you both notified about what's going on. Hyun, can you make sure that Shina's going to be fine?"

"Well, that's been my job since I came here. It's also the role I'm best at. Leave her to me." Hyun grabbed Shina by the hand, walking her over to a company van. Other cleaners stood around the area, awaiting the escort after Hyun's call for a few extra eyes. After the incident at the hospital, he was promoted a couple ranks. He was now able to call on cleaner help on demand for responsibilities beyond emergencies. "Make sure to keep Taiga safe. I left some lunch in the fridge for you three and the new visitor. Oh! Eve, please do me a favor and remind Taiga to eat. Sometimes, she forgets. She might need that extra food to fight and stuff." Despite all that occurred around her, Shina still acted like a mother towards Taiga. Nothing was going to stop her from caring about her big brother.

After she watched the van leave, Eve came back inside. "T, can't you look any less welcoming?" TJ grumbled. "He's being left alive ain't he? I'm pretty sure that's welcoming enough. Besides, I don't want to sit here and listen to Tai, Shi, or Hyun getting pissed over me spilling blood on their freshly cleaned carpet." Eve gave a knowing smirk. "You know. . . Be a good boy and I'm sure Taiga would offer you a little reward." TJ turned over to Taiga who stood outside her apartment. "She better. I've been pent up the last couple days."

Eventually, the suit made it back towards Taiga. His entrance wasn't a spectacle. The car he arrived in was similar to that of a low rank corpo. However, his presence was enough to keep the neighbors on edge. As he walked past the hallways towards the elevator following the directions of the receptionist, many eyes remained glued to his clean appearance. He continued to move until finally, his eyes met Taiga's.

"Evening Taiga. You look like you've been well. I've brought a housewarming gift." Once again, it was wine.

". . . So, there are several obstacles to our plan. Unfortunately, after your fiasco that happened recently, you have many eyes on you. Several powerful ones in fact. I don't have the names of all of them yet, but from those I do, a few of them would be willing to put a stop on your potential assassination of Silver. Not for the sake of protecting him, but rather more for the fact of wanting to take his head for themselves. Ideally, we would like to take out those who will know the truth, and those who will wish to prevent his execution for their own gains."

TJ looked at the screen in front of him. "So you wanted to deliver us a speech through a slideshow?"

"After conducting my research on you TJ, I believed that pictures to go along with a plan would serve you best." Eve tried to hold back a giggle. "It appears the suit from 'Saka has some bite."

"So what are you trying to get us and Taiga to do? I'm not going to flatline some random asshole just because a suit tells me too."

"I don't expect you to. I expect that Taiga will order you instead. There are a couple targets that remain the primary barriers to our goal, and I truly believe that you, Taiga, are the key to their elimination." He moved to the next slide. "One Security, a subsidiary company of Arasaka that focuses on intelligence gathering. One person within their employ was assigned to collecting intel on the Star of Night City. His duties include recording the activities of Taiga and those nearby her. He was also tasked with keeping tabs on my movements as well." Kaine sat on a separate chair overlooking the three. "I'd thought I'd do you all a favor and take out an issue that's afflicting us both. Make it look like an accident too, like some sort of mugging gone wrong or a bad experience with lace, and well . . . I could assign one of my own in their place." Eve nodded her head. "Not a bad proposition I'd say."

"I will bring up the next target once this hit is complete." TJ tilted his head. "So, you're telling us one but not the other? Why the fuck not?" Kaine crossed his arms. "It's because, if you make any other act without eliminating this target first. Consider this entire plan a bust. This man's surveillance serves too much of a liability for any of us to make any major plays. Unless, that is, you don't care about the fate of Taiga." Kaine turned towards her. "I'd for one say that she's too valuable of an asset to consider sacrificing for some lackluster reason. However, the final say belongs to you Taiga. I can give you all the information I can about the man if you would allow me."

"So, if this guy is watching us. Aren't you worried about him knowing about our meeting."

The Arasaka suit smiled. He already had a plan made. "Worry not, Evelynn. I know he's not currently watching over us. He's at a party where my assassins are attending. I've told them simply to keep watch of all visitors and when they come, and leave. However, this draws an issue of time and why I believe proper planning is of the utmost priority. I could keep track of his whereabouts and when he's vulnerable, but I need you all to work with me and handle the dirty work."

Taiga closed her eyes, listening to the Corpo speak of his issues. There were a few things Taiga has a problem with. for one; how could anyone possibly know if Taiga would attempt to 'assassinate' silver, especially given she surely was seen protecting him not a few days prior?

if anything, it seemed completely unlikely anyone worth their salt would ever come to the conclusion. Honestly, Taiga would have never considered faking his death on her own. Hell she didn't even really get the scope of his problem until Eve filled her in.

Even if people were watching her, She was also keeping track of her own paper trail. nothing would suggest she'd try to kill someone she protected previously. And if she did, it was due to betrayal and they wouldn't survive long enough to be rescued at that point. While it was true that a Corpo who was specifically being paid to keep tabs on you was an annoying thought, it certainly wasn't a problem. The problem, if at all would be the restriction on Kaine's movements. His cover is was vital to maintain. Taiga opened her eyes and looked to Evelynn. She certainly seemed like an incredibly smooth operator. Always calm, composed, level headed. Maybe she could be useful...maybe a poisoning... something...working with a Corpo usually meant a more subtle and sinister approach. Taiga was more suited for...well...overt combat. She would be able to support via net running however so that was a significant boon. She had the ability to encrypt her connections so it would be extremely difficult to trace her especially if all she was doing was jacking the CCTV footage.

"So, you're telling us one but not the other? Why the fuck not?"

Taiga had her elbows on her knees, chin on her interlinked fingers. "Well. It would be pointless. information overload won't do us any good. what's the point of thinking about step two when we haven't even started on step one. First we take this guy out then worry about what comes next. Then again... there is one advantage of telling us the next target. depending on certain details, we might be able to knock off two targets at once. from what I'm gathering, this particular hit can easily be a two man job... depending on the next job, we could probably compartmentalize. After all... it does seem like you expect T to do something. I could handle most of the heavy lifting on my own. Throw in Eve and we have a super spy duo. Could probably easily take out anyone that way... unless of course...our newest recruit is on a first name bases with our corpo friends..." She said the last part, glancing at Evelyn. The fact that Kaine just casually knew her name didn't go over her head at all. It was almost as if she was a plant and Kaine was showing goodwill by exposing that fact on his own accord.

She closed her eyes and sighed. Trusting Eve would be impossible now. It wasn't much of a problem however, not trusting people was something she was used to. hell it was why he never liked gigs where he wasn't on his own. No matter how nice he played with others, Taiga never trusted another soul. His mom and Shina only. "Ma. Perhaps we should just focus on one mission at a time. Easier to succeed when you aren't stretched thin or worrying about what's going on on the other side." <In any case. >

Eve clicked her tongue at the sound of her name being called. It appeared as though Kaine did his research, not just on Taiga and the main players that surrounded her, but also of every person she interacted with as well. It felt like he had eyes everywhere. That nowhere and no one was safe from the eyes of Arasaka. However, in order to get revenge, she was willing to bide with it for now. "So, you want us to handle your errand before crossing anyone else on the list. Fine."

"Ma. Perhaps we should just focus on one mission at a time. Easier to succeed when you aren't stretched thin or worrying about what's going on on the other side."

TJ relented to Taiga's reasoning. "Ugh, I guess it makes sense. As long as at the end of the day, we get what we want. So be it." It ached his pride to know that his first instinct was wrong. "Taiga is right. Think about it. If we can't handle this much, what's to say that we could handle whatever comes next. Though . . . "

'unless of course...our newest recruit is on a first name basis with our corpo friends...'

Eve noticed Taiga's suspicious gaze though she couldn't blame her for how she felt. After her peculiar entrance into Taiga's crew, Eve understood that there would be some concern over where her loyalties lied. However, suspicion breeds resentment, and she understood that, if she wanted to get Taiga's help, she had to prove her loyalty. With this objective, she found herself arriving at a golden opportunity. Nothing spoke loyalty more than doing a job right, especially against a corporation. ". . . Unfortunately, I don't have connections with Korean syndicates and Arasaka subsidies to use. However, I could most likely make use of some corporate connections to whatever area our target is. And well . . ." She leaned over the couch, peering towards Kaine. ". . .if need be, I could toss a rumor about some interested party who took out your target in an assassination gone wrong."

The corpo stroked his cheek, curious to the mind of Taiga's new recruit. "I suppose a well placed rumor would be enough to take some attention away. Perhaps we could take out another issue as well if we could place the blame on the right crew. Give me some time to find some other parties interested in doing damage to One Security and we could craft the perfect alibi." Eve seemed to speak Kaine's language. Where Taiga and TJ excelled at direct conflict, Kaine and Eve did well with subterfuge and planning. "Rumors spread among the lower levels always find their way up the corporate ladder. Besides, it's not the first time I've spread a lie. What's another?"

TJ scratched his chin. "So, if you both are handling the boring part, what's our job then? I don't think you just want us to go in there and flatline the prick right?"

Kaine pointed towards Taiga. "I believe that's something you both should discuss. All I could do is offer your quarry's location, description, and general profile. It's up to you to decide how you want to pull this out. Though, if I had any thoughts. It would be best to either make it appear gang related or corp-related. Be creative. As long as it's not particularly obscene or obvious. It would be bad if we left a link to us somehow. It would be even worse if NCPD got involved as well." He patted TJ's back. "Though, I believe that this is more of your expertise. Aren't you known for making people disappear?"

TJ mulled over his thoughts. "If I wanted to make some corpo asshole disappear while blaming someone else, all I have to do is plant something on them after. Hmm.... Any thoughts Tai?"

Taiga's earlier comment about Eve actually came out differently than she had intended. She was more concerned with how many people knew of Eve. If too many people could recognize her then Taiga's ideas were bunk. She listened to Eve and Kain work out the back end and decided to focus on having a different plan.
"If I wanted to make some corpo asshole disappear while blaming someone else, all I have to do is plant something on them after. Hmm.... Any thoughts Tai?"
As it stood...TJ had a criminal organization that stood to fall to pieces due to a complete lack of direction and inactivity. One that could stand to be directed in a more valuable manner. "Personally...I think we need to get you back into the fold. You got a bunch of guys with no where to go and nothing to do...maybe we should give them a new direction." She closed her eyes before speaking again. "Now I realize how hypocritical I might sound, I do think maintaining a crime syndicate is quite important...I don't like the idea of harming innocent people but I feel like there is a way to make an actual crime syndicate work without being overtly evil...Or better yet...maybe we could rebrand them...or rather place them back on their original path. Your gang's whole schtick was to basically wage war on corpos right...? It might not be a bad idea to rebrand into a Mercenary corps. Maybe we could have them raid the bastard, Kidnap him, rough him up a bit and make him give up a weapons depot or something. Make it look like someone hired them to get access to something like that, raid the base, loot everything and once they have in, they can just off the dude for insurance. Surely Arasaka has depos full of valuable resources to a gang of mercs right? That would motivate the guys into action, knowing they were about to get some real heavy duty hardware. So...to summerize...

☆ Step 1: Get the gang to pivot into becoming a Mercenary group.
☆ Step 2: Giving them *our* mark to find, capture and force into giving us access to a weapons depo which Kaine would Ideally inform us of.
☆ Step 3: The boys, now having a target, take him along, raid the place, ideally with TJ at the helm to rally the troops, making it look like he's back on the grind, me in the shadows making the raid as smooth as possible, go in, kill our target then clean the place out in preparation for their new venture into what's basically PMC life at the expense of Arasaka.

At that point, we'd now have a PMC at our disposal, nice, tamed and primed for action whenever needed. At this point, it would seem like a completely independent attack. It couldn't possibly come back to me nor Kaine since T has a history of conducting similar raids in the past. His old hideout is pretty safe. If i remember correctly it's network is privatized so anyone who'd want to use it would have to get up close and personal. I could easily shore up security and maybe even call up a favor to overkill security. If anyone decided to retaliate against T, It would be a severely uphill battle. At that point...We could have them conduct regular raid missions and maybe resell excess gear to get a revenue stream going to maintain upkeep.
"

Taiga had TJ's gang on her mind for the past few days. She knew better than anyone who much power abhorred a vacuum. She knew that if they didn't get TJ back on the saddle soon, things would go horribly wrong at a very bad time. She needed to solve every problem they had before they had it and kill as many birds with a single bullet as humanly possible. She waited for a moment to let everything she said settle before continuing. "Next...We need to lay in some ground work...but I'll handle that on my own. " She stood up. "I'mma go see the good Doctor...get some work done...then...well...Gonna see if Silver has any acting chops. Any questions? Statements? Now's the time."

At this time, she sent out two texts, one to hex and one to silver.

Hey buddy~ Uhm...how good are you at acting...? Specifically Improv... also are you older than me? How old are you? I think your sister might have forgotten your age...

"Personally...I think we need to get you back into the fold. You got a bunch of guys with no where to go and nothing to do...maybe we should give them a new direction. . ."

"So you want me. . . To go back to being the asshole you stopped wanting me to be? I don't think I could lead that band of gonks without being the same type of boss I was before." He lifted his arm, tapping the digital tattoos that marked his arm from flesh to chrome. "These assholes only know one language. Terror. Violence. I don't doubt that they'll probably be doing the same with or without me."

Surely Arasaka has depos full of valuable resources to a gang of mercs right? That would motivate the guys into action, knowing they were about to get some real heavy duty hardware."

TJ tilted his head from one shoulder to another, trying to figure out whether the words that came out of Taiga's mouth were the ones that met his ears. "I guess a rebrand might do. Though, all the territory and rep I once had, I gave up. After the shit we pulled at the hospital, the others stopped knowing me as the Iron Tyrant. From my contacts, I've been called pussy-whipped. I've been called a corpo traitor. I doubt that the same assholes that once followed every shot I called would be so willing to do the same." He sighed, drawing a familiar brand of cigar from his pocket. It was the same as Ueno's, appearing as though TJ now held a newfound respect for him and his tastes. "I ain't convincing any of the old crew that I, suddenly, want to go back to being their boss after I delta'd. However, that doesn't mean I can't do something."

He pulled Taiga under his arm, dragging her towards the couch. "I could start a new gang or er. . . Mercenary company. I've noticed the new kids on the block seem to have something new in them. They've grown up in a shittier shit hole than I did. They're hungry. They're twice as willing for even less. If say . . . Someone were to come to them with a plan and a paycheck, they'd be willing to pull anything." A growing smirk cracked across his face. "Especially if they had the chance to meet the one who flatlined a corpo borg. Though, I'm pretty sure you know. Mercs cost eds, and a cheap merc is a gonk with a gun. I could turn any prole into a fighter, all I need is money, guns, and a little incentive~" Despite wanting to help Taiga, there was still a piece of TJ that gripped onto the ideology that nothing was truly free. Though, his obsession pushed his values elsewhere. Namely, towards her barely concealed curves.

Hex's eyes flashed its familiar hue. Taiga's notification was one among many that usually populated his eyes during his typical workflow. However, there were few others that caught his attention like she did when her name appeared on his feed.

I could-could. It wouldn't be the most difficult though . . . A hair transplant is easy enough to handle. With the systems I've installed into you, your body should mold into most other forms temporarily.

Silver was staring outside a window in his hospital room. It was always around this time of year did he find himself reminiscing about his past friends and adventures.

Sister? What do you mean?

As for acting, don't worry too much about me. From all the lying I've done before, I'm surprised I haven't tried becoming an actor at some point. Just let me know who you want to trick and I'd help. Though, I don't think I'm in the best condition to play my part. Ripper said that the wounds will have me in bed for a couple more days.

"I'mma go see the good Doctor...get some work done...then...well...Gonna see if Silver has any acting chops. Any questions? Statements? Now's the time."

The corpo took in all that happened in front of him. His mind was sharp, capturing each detail. "No questions from me. I believe that concludes my time here. If you need any resources to accomplish your task, do let me know. Unlike my peers, I'm not the type to devalue my assets."

TJ placed a hand on Taiga's shoulder. "Don't fuckin die out there Tai. If you need a hand or a gun, just call me and I'll be there faster than any medtech could. Oh! And don't let the doc fuck with your head any more than he has already. I don't want you to have to wear an icepack on your head just to keep you cool."

"Don't worry about Hyun and Shina. I'll take care of them while you're gone. Just do what you got to and I'll handle my end."

Taiga blushed softly as she was pulled over to TJ and couldn't help but let out a small smile while staring down at the coffee table in front of her. She thought about everything TJ said and well...yeah...That could pose a problem...It came down to if Taiga was willing to take it all over and lead a gang but...That was a commitment she wasn't entirely fond of. While yes, she certainly was able to lead a group of people and might even excel at it...she couldn't stand the idea of leading others. People have told him many times that he was a far better leader than he was a follower. That he could do so much better in charge...but every single time he dismissed the notion. At best he saw himself as a stop gap measure. A plug for a hole, a band aid, but not a permanent solution. "If you want something done right kid. You gotta do it yourself. No one is gonna cover for you when shit goes south...and no one is gonna save you when someone you thought you could trust lets you down." Taiga became silent as Kaine decided to dismiss himself. She nodded towards him as he stood and started to leave Her lips were hidden behind her interlinked fingers.

She got her response from Hex. She blinked as he revealed to her that she could already effectively be a chameleon and alter her own appearance for a time. That was useful but what Taiga needed was a ballpark approximation.

Sighing heavily, she leaned into TJ, eyes closed again. Maybe it would just be easier to just go in now, turn off all the lights and kill him. Surely Kizuha and Yanna would just let it happen...maybe even say they were called away...or told to step out before it goes down. Planning shit out was why she was a merc and not a fixer. She much Preferred being the gun rather than aiming it. She opened her eyes. "Wait." She called out to Kaine. She looked over to him as he turned to face her. "How often does he...go for his little pow-wows?" If Taiga really could just freely alter her appearance...then the easiest method of assassination...would be to simply become an employee at his favourite...places of relief and kill him silently there. No one would know until it was far too late. Kaine could probably Arrange for Taiga to be hired on anonymously and with her body, she'd be automatically accepted due to being severely overqualified. Anyone would be mad to turn a bombshell like her away...right? She sent Kaine a text, outlining what she was thinking, not wanting TJ to get jealous or defensive. She even reached back to rub his crotch with her fingers to distract him while she stared at Kaine.

Kaine's expression changed to one of mild surprise. He'd turn back towards the elevator door. "Interesting...Yes I...I think I see where you're going with this...unexpectedly discreet...a classic Mata Hari...I'll send you some details in due time...make some arrangements...I'll contact you when I'm ready."
For the rest of that day, TJ had her in a mating press, venting all his frustrations on her pussy, fucking her silly while covering her mouth with his hand, preventing her from squealing too loudly as his cock made her look like someone was beating her insides with a battering ram, trying to get out.

The following day, she spent a couple of hours getting a crash course of her Chameleon abilities. With it, she was able to fully change her appearance. Snow white hair, golden eyes, soft moist lips. Even her cybernetics were concealed, making her look almost completely organic, save for her eyes. "Man...you're fucking wild...I...seriously cannot believe how much shit you managed to pack into my body...I'm literally just a prettier Smasher at this point...Is there anything I *can't* do....? Actually...Don't answer that...I don't wanna know...g"enuinely scared to find out..."

With that being said and done, she went back to their apartment suite, showing off her new 'body' to her allies. "So uh. Slight change of plans yeah? Turns out I have the ability to just straight up alter my appearance almost at will. I can even modify my behavior and Speech patterns...We decided...the easiest, safest and quickest way to flat the bastard is to send me undercover as a premium joy toy, get him in a room, preferably drunk, then boom. Good Irene. Then I slip away and mission accomplished. Just gotta wait for Kaine at this point. He's gonna get me there, inside and the manager will lead me to my target. He's gonna offer me up as a premium acquisition, He's...not likely to refuse...unless...he...doesn't...like my body type...then I kill him. behind closed doors that is.

Once she arrived back at the apartment, she was met with Eve and TJ sitting in front of her holo-screen TV. Eve appeared to be mindlessly flipping through different channels, trying to find something interesting while TJ watched porn over his Neuro-Link.

TJ eyebrows were raised once the silver haired beauty entered Taiga's apartment. "Woah Tai. Almost didn't recognize you for a moment. Fuckin ripper did a hell of a job on you. If it weren't for your voice, I'd swear you'd were a-AGH." Eve grabbed TJ by the ear. "What was that for?!" There was a subtle understanding she had for Taiga's femininity. "Before your gonk-dick delays Taiga anymore than it has already, I suggest you focus on her mission rather than flirting." Her voice cut into his ego like a knife. "Ugh, fine. So what's the plan here? We push you as some high end joy toy escort and get you in his pants? I mean. . . It isn't the worst plan we ever worked with. Beats the damn sewer."

"The. . . Sewer?"

"Well, sometimes the sewer is the best place to delta the fuck out of a shootout with NCPD. If no one wants to go there, it's the best place to hide out. 'cept the smell. Fuckin hate the smell." TJ leaned back. "So, after we fuck over Kaine's friend, mind if I have a turn?" Now seeing Taiga underneath a different visage, there was a growing temptation to carve into her newly-molded flesh.

Eve sighed. From the looks of it, there appeared to only be two topics that appealed to TJ's mind. Sex with Taiga, and Taiga. His obsessions became his motivation, though unlike before, at least he was predictable. "I suppose I could figure out a way to market her body for upper-class pleasures. After hanging out with the horny assholes with too much money long enough, I could tell what they're looking for in an escort. If Kaine gives us information about our target's preferences, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how we get him in Taiga's grasp." She turned towards Taiga. "And with you being able to change your body nearly at-will, it definitely makes things a lot easier. Usually, to pull a gig like this, there's a lot more surgery involved."

"So, when do you think that asshole is gonna come back to us? He looked like he already had something in place."

Taiga chucked, finding TJ to be quite adorable. She had a feeling he'd want to break her in. "Well...I doubt things will be able to move that quickly so if you want a piece of me you're more than welcome~" She chucked. "as for my voice... I'll need to effectively download someone else's vocal and behavioral patterns in order to truly mask who I am. I could... maybe get away with simply acting but... while im sure I'm a natural... over never exactly done any sort of acting as a woman before so... kinda risky." She walked over to T and say on his lap, her fat ass squishing against him as she did. Her white hair cascaded as she spun around to sit on him. her hair was shiny, beautifully reflecting the light from the windows. "We can take our time on this... though maybe we should have silver camp or here for a while... easier to protect someone who's right beside you... then again... might make moving around unnoticed difficult."She exhaled softly. "Guess I'll just wait for Kaine and relax as much as I can till then. something tells me the good doktor is gonna throw a fit of I push myself too much ~" She chucked before closing her eyes and snuggling back into T's warm body. She fully expected him to perv out on her and didn't mind it in the slightest... hell she even enjoyed it. "Sorry if this is weird for you, Ev. I can't really help it... some old perv made my body all weird and needy... the prices we pay to stay alive am I right~?"
