Why does your character always frequent this particular library? (Not because the attendant is attractive…)

Why is whatever sport so important? (Not because the coach is pretty…)

Those are just examples. Let's explore the depth of our characters. They don't need to be fully formulated! I'd just like to start a stark contrast based on the premise of a simple idea.
