Hi everyone! So, before you keep on scrolling if I could just borrow your time for a parsec. I promise this little bit won't take long at all. (Got to get it out of the way so we can get to the fun stuff later on) So anyways, I have a couple of ground rules I like to stick by before any roleplay. It's mainly there to ensure I'm transparent and honest with my wishes/intentions. However, it also somewhat serves as my code of conduct and therefore promises to you as my partner as well. I'm no hypocrite and always try to be a woman of my word when it comes to things like this. Now without further ado, here's the skinny on things. (This list may or may not change over time.)
1 - Decorum is a must | Now I know this is more so one of those commonsense rules, but I still like to mention it. We're here to write a beautiful story together and we should treat one another with respect. It always makes for better roleplay when one can trust their partner in crime to respect their wishes and just treat each other right. This respect also carries over to using proper roleplay etiquette when the rubber meets the road. Weeding out things like god-modding, metagaming and puppeteering etc. make for better storytelling as a whole. Plus, it's just the right thing to do.
2 - Talking is good | Communication over the internet at times is like a game of telephone in which one can't get key vocal inflection. Likewise, I know neither one of us will likely be a mind reader (though if you are that is super cool and please help me win at Poker). Because of this, it really is important to keep an open line of communication throughout things even after the plotting phase has died out. If there is anything you'd like to talk about or have on your mind, please reach out! I'm always happy to clarify or edit if need be and I promise you I will be more than happy to chat your ear off. Similarly, I will more than happy come wandering in to ask my questions throughout the roleplay and just to get detail bits as we go. That bit on open lines of communication aside, I always love just chatting to shoot the breeze as well. So, if you'd like to just talk sometimes, I'm here for that as well! (Ask me why I live like a bat sometimes if you'd like a conversation starter. I've got some fun stories.)
3 - No means no | It is what the name implies. I reserve the right to refuse anything or step away from anything I do not feel comfortable with at any time. This road goes both ways, as player comfort and enjoyment are of the utmost importance. Usually, I tend to give forewarning prior to any stoppages I ask for and will be vocal in signaling my mood throughout the process to help give my indicators. Everyone's got their hard limits and that is something I wish to be respected at all times when in play. Similarly, if I'm pushing my envelope at any point unknowingly, please let me know and I will immediately correct it.
4 - To Tell a Story | This is why I write ultimately at the end of the day. While writing erotic fiction is sure as hell fun, I do want my story/substance to go along with the experience. Let's be creative and build something up together rather than just some random short-story format hookup. I promise you that it will be such a rewarding experience by the end of it if we simply just stick with it. All things aside, please note that I'm only here to do smut with some amount of plot behind it as a rule of thumb. This does not mean however that I won't write some of the raunchiest topics by any means. Just that I typically value my story as the first and foremost thing when roleplaying. The current divide between smut to story ratio is: 40/60 to 30/70.
Glad you asked! I'm a twenty-four-year-old writer with about seven years of roleplaying experience under my belt who still doesn't quite understand BB Code. (I know, stunning aren't I) While far from the perfect bean I wish I was, I've improved a great deal since I've started writing and I'm happy to continue my journey in roleplay here on Bluemoon! Greatness from small beginnings after all. My roleplay background is an extremely varied sort that carried all sorts of elements within it. Most of original experience Roleplaying started on chat-box style sites before moving onto full play by post style formats. A good majority of my time has not been spent writing erotica, so coming to Bluemoon is definitely exploring something outside my normal realm. That being said, I am highly excited to get started and hope to have a wonderful time with all of you!
Here's a brief TLDR on some important tidbits!
- I am a literate 3rd person writer. I don't really deviate from the 3rd person styling.
- On average, I can write between 600-1500 words a post. I suppose that falls into a multi-paragraph format.
- I prefer playing original characters over canons. My FCs could be drawn or picture references.
- Personally, I am a switch. I can play dom or sub characters depicting on the story.
- Don't have a preference on my partners OOC gender, a roleplay is between the characters.
- I am currently in: 1 roleplay (Will update as status shifts).
- Happy to use any of my roleplay ideas or ideas drafted up by potential partners.
Who I Play:
In terms of what I play, I am most comfortable with playing female characters but will happily play male characters if the scenario at hand calls for it. I'm comfortable with playing a variety of sexualities and genders however, so feel free to wheel and deal with me to create something suited for the story. Most of my characters tailored for original play will be built for the story at hand! I tend to mix in a good deal of personality and backstory beats to any character you see coming out of my stable. Species wise I can play anything from human characters to monsters. I'm fairly flexible.
Settings I Play:
A fun bit here. I have experience with everything from a Warrior's Cat roleplay when I first started, all the way up to a Fate Roleplay when I capped off my run at things. As such, I'm generally willing to play a wide variety of settings when going into a roleplay. Some of my typical favorites however are as follows: historical (I adore different time periods), fantasy, sci-fi and sometimes modern. I am more than happy to play in canon worlds or in settings outside these metrics if they suit my fancy. Once again, I'm fairly flexible on this so please simply ask.
Posting & Speed of Posting:
A short blurb on my writing style slumbers here, so let's hop right in, shall we? As mentioned above, I am a literate 3rd person writer who writes within a multi-paragraph format. My posts usually averaging out between 600-1500 words on a given topic though this can fluctuate depending on writing. In terms of my post frequency, I post every two to three days on average. However, this process can be much quicker if I have free time, or my muse is high! In terms of grammar, I'm not that much of a snob over it. I just ask my partners check over theirs to the best of their ability and I will do the same.
