Name: Nicholas "Nick" Valentine

Bio: A farmhand transplanted to a distant world on the outer fringes of the Milky Way as part of the United Nations' efforts to colonize other worlds, Nick worked with six others on a decent sized homestead. He's not overly intelligent, but what he lacks in brains he makes up for in strength and mechanical knowledge. Often his role outside of gardening and crop rotation is transport of heavy cargo across the homestead and repair of the equipment used to work the land.
He does have some skill in woodcrafting as well, and even built a small sailboat to explore the coastal waters on his freebie.
Unfortunately war broke out one day when the natives of this nee world began abducting humans, forcing him to flee on his boat; a tidal wave crashed down on his craft when he was caught and dragged out to sea in a violent storm, shattering it and making him eventually wash up on a deserted island.
He was eventually found by one of the natives of this new world and brought back to a community town of their own creation. A haven from the war, isolated from the rest of the world. After being cared for, he now helps out around this central city...In more ways than one.

Bio: An orphan on the Satellite, Akashi only knew tragedy: His mother died in childbirth, and his father passed on his 15th birthday in an industrial accident. Being in the Satellite was the lowest of the low: Anyone from there was a dreg, a leech.
Complicating matters still, he was born with an unusual power: The power to bring card monsters to life in a Duel. One would think this a boon, but each use brought with it nosebleeds, migraines, seizures and blackouts. Not to mention sleeplessness from an unending stream of nightmares and hunger. And in this cruel world those with powers like his are hunted, hated and even killed.
Out of survival he steals and runs with gangs to pay rent and get food. Acts which landed him in custody many times over. Earning him a "criminal mark" that brands him an outlaw.
In his Deck, one solely comprised of powerful Demons, rests an indestructible dragon of darkness. One that acts as a Pyrrhic protector, a guard against this world's cruelty. And with this beast at his side and his will to never break, he continues to persevere as he tries to find his way.

Bio: A mercenary from the town of Talon Point on the continent of Tristan. He was raised hy his adoptive sisters after his parents succumbed to a chillingly virulent and destructive plague, where his training from his parents might continue in the art of 'Beast Hunting'.
Specializing in beast tracking and understanding the beahviors and rituals of beasts, his body is covered in the scars of multiple battles against the many monstrosities his world has to offer. He prefers to only engage the beasts that are truly a problem, as too much 'pruning' is detrimental to the natural cycles of the world.
He wishes to one day become a Wielder, one of those chosen few selected by Fate to wield Weapons: Enchanted arms containing breathing immortal spirits. But so far, only females have been awarded such a privilege, and have done so for over two centuries since the previous Great War wiped out the previous male Wielders.
