Hi, and welcome to my request thread!​

If you've been to my introduction thread within the last month or so, you may know that I am a veteran RPer -- or if you don't know, hi, I am a veteran RPer since the early 2000s. I am still relatively new here, given that I haven't really interacted with many people and I have a tendency to keep to myself. I don't even really have a nickname for here, so I'm not even sure what I want to be called, aside from my username.

These days, I am far less of a writer and more of just a busy bee worker, so my priorities on RPing aren't quite the same as they used to be some 20+ years ago. That being said, I would like to give my potential partners the opportunity to do one-shot RPs to conclude a scene craving quickly. I am still open to longer-term RPs but historically I know those rarely ever fulfill to completion.

Number of RPs: I am comfortable running a small handful of RP threads, probably five or less. My mental capacity won't take much more than that. **Currently I have one semi-active RP, and one still in planning stages.**

On post length: I don't expect you to match me, but I also expect more than just a couple of sentences. I've been known to write one paragraph per post, as well as several. Whatever happens, happens.

On activity: I check in every now and then, but I certainly don't live on here. Please let me know how you're doing like, once a week at least, whether you're still feeling the RP or not. I know people have ghosted RPs. I've ghosted RPs and been ghosted myself. Life happens, and interests change.

On posting preference: I personally prefer to create forum threads for my RPs, just so I know they're there. However, I know that many people prefer DMs...and I'm not sure why. As of current, I am declining off-site roleplays. No Discord, no Skype, etc.

The stories I have in my head are generally plot-based romances. It's what I'm comfortable with in reading, and those are what comprise most of my bookshelf. That doesn't mean I don't have my erotica/smut books. They're in there, all right. I also subscribe to an erotic audiobook/audio story site (for the sake of not breaking a rule, I am NOT advertising it here) so there are kinks and fantasies from there that I am aware of.

Story/Character Tropes​

Enemies to Lovers: Workplace Rivals or Mafia/Spy Rivals
Second Chance Romance: think of it like one of those Hallmark Christmas movies
Arranged Marriage: One such idea is like K-drama, but not necessarily - can have a company heir/heiress marry their family's business partner. Alternatively, royal fantasy weddings, whether fae or demonic (and I lean towards the demonic/vampiric side).
Murder Mystery/General Mystery: I have not played this out yet, but it couldn't hurt to try. Our characters could explore a haunted mansion/castle and get trapped somewhere due to inclement weather.
Historical Romance/Fantasy: King/Monarch gets killed; Queen/Heiress/Princess gets taken captive by the conquering warlord, either as their sex slave or a forced marriage. Alternative idea: Ancient World servant and master/pharaoh/king.
BDSM/Erotica: I would prefer to have my strong female character get dominated, but generally because there is a lot that could go on in here, it's something more to discuss during the planning stages. One of my stock characters is usually written to own a sex club, and I don't mind the usage of toys/sex furniture.
Character Types: Human, Paranormal (Succubus/Witch/Sorceress/Vampire). I absolutely refuse to go down the wolf route, even though I've read several pay-to-read app stories containing those.

All right, I know that was pretty short and concise. I don't like having my time wasted, and I certainly don't want to waste yours with a lot of unnecessary rambling.
