It seemed a minor problem, at first. A small ship sending out a distress call was not exactly common, but not unknown, even in the airspace of Noveria, where corporate rules went to die. This distress call, however, was different. This wasn't a ship with a faulty engine that may or may not have been bought from an unscrupulous seller, or have a "unique design" that made it unusable outside of specific test environments. This distress call was a matter of life and death in a more immediate sense. Someone had discovered something she wasn't meant to, and now she needed help from whoever would offer it...

Essentially, in this plot, my character would be a hacker who, throughout some of her connections on Noveria, has come across details of a plot that threatens not just corporate rivals, but potentially the lives of anyone who gets in their way, or becomes an inconvenience...something my character has managed to do in remarkably short order. In order to protect herself, she has sent out a distress signal from her ship seeking asylum. Your character would be the lucky Spectre who happened to be heading to Noveria to investigate some other crime...or perhaps just taking a break while there is no pressing Council matter to attend to. Of course, no Spectre would turn down a lady in need, would they?

My character would be either a turian or quarian female, simply due to my personal tastes, but I have absolutely no preference in any direction as to what race or gender my partner would play as. The time frame for this RP would be an indeterminate time after the third game, with the assumption that after all was said and done, things went mostly back to the way they were before, and AI research has slowly been looked at starting up again, but is considered still taboo enough that anything on that front is being done in secret, with those responsible taking great care to not let it be known what they are doing. Technology itself is back to the level it was at the end of Mass Effect 3, after taking years and decades simply to bounce back from the setback caused by the destruction of the Reapers.

I should note that I tend towards the darker side when it comes to my kinks/RPs. It's not required, but my natural storytelling does at least lead to BDSM type situations, for example. I don't really have any limits as for how dark I am willing to go, or write. I leave that to my partners to set those limits, and respect them. I would definitely recommend at least being open to the idea of the story getting into some darker territory, with peril for our characters, however. If that doesn't sound like a bad deal to you, then feel free to let me know.
