Earth One is our beloved blue and green ball of a planet. On this planet is a collection of heroes from all walks of life. Kenjiro Akiyama, known to outsiders as Lone Wolf, is the leader of the Wolf Clan, the most powerful faction within the martial arts world. His family created the martial arts, and every practitioner on Earth One, either directly or indirectly, is his student. Lone Wolf is the greatest martial artist on Earth One, an impressive feat to have accomplished at the age of 21. Perhaps even more impressively, he sits at number five on the top five strongest people on Earth One. Lone Wolf is brave and kind, though sometimes rigid and unyielding.
Eric Coverdale, also known as Spirit Rider, is an agent of the God of Wind who lives on Earth One. As well as being able to control the wind, he has a ‘vessel’ tethered to his soul. This vessel takes the form of a motorcycle. Eric can make his vessel fly and ride on any surface, including water. He often travels across dimensions, going where the winds take him and using their power to open portals. He sits at number four on the top five strongest people on Earth One. He is 21 years old and known for being chill and not easily riled.
Lithuel is a half-angel, half demon hybrid who was born in Hell. Hated and feared by both sides of this supernatural dichotomy, he became a wild beast hunted for execution by both sides. Crusader saved him from this fate and brought him to Earth, where Lone Wolf began to teach him martial arts. Lithuel can use both divine and demonic power, shift his form, fly, and move at a speed beyond most mortals. He is a valued ally of Earth One that is instrumental in fending off demonic invasions launched by Hell’s Nine Generals. He sits at number three on the top five strongest people on Earth One. Though age means something different to him, he is 21 years old in appearance. In personality, he is cocky, brash, and a shit talker.
Marcus Trelawney, also known as Existence, is an omega-class mutant with psychic and reality-bending powers. He was educated at the Shadowgreen Institute in Nice, France in the 1950’s. He attempted to become Prime Minister of France, but his choice to be open about his mutant nature prevented this from happening. Disillusioned with humanity, he became a wanderer. Crusader trained with him for a time. He sits at number two on the top five strongest people on Earth One. Being over 80 years old, he is wise and calm, though slightly bitter and cynical.
Scott Young, also known as Crusader, is a human implanted with a Voltari Soul. Through this bond, he can manifest the impenetrable Voltari shell as armor. He can also use spiritual power based on his trust and bond with the Voltari known as Valor. This makes their combined power unlimited, since it is based on emotion. The fully realized combined power of Scott and Valor is a god known as Destroyer, though entering this form takes a heavy toll on Scott’s body, sometimes leaving him in a coma for months. Crusader, being composed of Scott and Valor together, sits at number one on the top five strongest people on Earth One. Scott is humble, kind, and compassionate.
Valor is a Voltari, an armored worm living underground on the planet Kasha. He volunteered for the VAWS (Voltari Armor Weapon System) project after the death of his father. His soul was bonded to Scott on Earth One. Valor is cautious, analytical, and strategic.
Alan Arnan/Firestar was born human. He was educated at the Shadowgreen Institute in the 1990’s. The Fire General of Hell possessed him and nearly used him to open a portal between worlds. With help from the God of Fire, Alan freed himself. Having saved the world, he was rewarded with an apotheosis to the status of God of Fire, effectively fusing with the previous God of Fire. Firestar helped train Crusader as his successor as the Protector of Earth One.
Yvette Duchet, also known as Madam Shadow, is the current Director of the Shadowgreen Institute. She is also the leader of the Shadow Force, who help protect Earth One. Her powers are based on the use of shadows. In personality, she is coy, mysterious, and charming, as well as intelligent and cunning.
Richard Baker, also known as Rocky, is a member of the Shadow Force. His powers are the ability to manipulate the earth, including being able to cover his body in stone to be used offensively and defensively. His younger brother is Nick Baker. He is sometimes cautious to a fault, though good in the field.
Nick Baker, also known as Shell-Shock, is a member of the Shadow Force. His powers are based on spiritual energy, including energy blasts. His older brother is Richard Baker. He is friendly rivals with Scott and desires to surpass him in power. Nick is hot-headed, impulsive, and sometimes reckless. He is cocky and tough. Known for charging in, he can sometimes bite off more than he can chew.
Michael Clark, also known as Sandstorm, is a member of the Shadow Force. His powers are based on the manipulation of sand. He is often the voice of reason that can rein in wild Nick and cautious Richard to work together.
Julie Jameson, also known as Siren, is a member of the Shadow Force. She is only ten years old but already a graduate of the Shadowgreen Institute as well as a gifted psychic. She trains directly under Existence when not on missions with the team. She is innocent, kind, compassionate, and gentle when her powers are not needed.
King Adolphus is the deceased king of the Kashaxi, a humanoid people that live on the planet Kasha. To try and defeat the Grymwar, he took a Voltari Soul named Honor into his body. However, the bodies of the Kashaxi could not withstand this process. Though Adolphus fought magnificently, his strength slowly drained away until he was killed in battle. The heroic sacrifice of these two are an inspiration to everyone who lives on the Planet Kasha. Crusader, being human, withstood the process and succeeded where his predecessor failed.
Queen Enjela is the leader of the Kashaxi. After her husband’s death, she searched for his successor before finding Scott on Earth. She treats Scott and Valor as if they are her sons. She is wise, brave, compassionate, and capable.
Honor is a Voltari and the father of Valor. Voltari names do not use the alphabets of Earth, so they pick a name based on the native language of those they are bonded to. He died alongside King Adolphus.
Dulzak is a Grymwar from the planet Grym. Backed by Omega and using arcane blood magic, they became conquerors. He is a Blood Saint, which is a mix between a high priest and a chieftain. He killed King Adolphus and Honor. Crusader is his hated enemy. He is bloodthirsty, cruel, and vicious. He mercilessly kills any who oppose him.
Vizharr is a Grymwar warrior who bonded with the evil Voltari named Jukei. His spiritual power is on par with Crusader, though he does not have an equivalent Destroyer form. Though he can be bloodthirsty, cruel, and vicious, he has a code of honor based on wanting to know if he is truly stronger than his opponent. Thus, he does not kill mercilessly as many of his kind do. Vizharr is the Chieftain of the Grymwar, the leader of his people.
Jukei is a Voltari who was once Valor’s best friend. He used the VAWS program for his own purposes and tried to overthrow Queen Enjela. When he failed, he fled Kasha and bonded with Jukei using Omega’s power. He is pure evil and desires only to seize Vizharr’s body and all of creation for himself.
Omega is the Universe Incarnated. He hates all that lives and desires its destruction. He uses the Grymwar to exterminate others while secretly plotting their destruction. Blood Magic is a diluted form of his own power. Omega is so powerful that he can fight with Destroyer. He is particularly terrifying in that he can never be truly killed.
Sergio Gregori/Blood Wolf is a Russian businessman who became a werewolf. He desires to turn all of humanity into werewolves. As well as being able to control those he turns, his howl can turn the moon red, amplifying his own power. Though capable of evil acts, he largely desires only freedom for himself and others to live how they choose. He has a code of honor, though he clashes with heroes like Crusader.
Hans Holbrook/Cybernator is a mercenary who built a technologically advanced suit of armor. Loaded with weapons, he can decimate any battlefield he steps foot on. The US government sometimes uses him off the record. Scott is considered a rival due to his armor. Hans has no problem killing for money and largely lacks empathy. He plays by his own rules and restricts his bloodlust to the battlefield.
The Shadowgreen Institute has a sister school in England called the Wintergreen Institute. Jack Joyce/Master Permafrost is its Director. That school is for magic users of all kinds. This school primarily handles the demon invasions from Hell, freeing up Shadowgreen and others to deal with domestic and alien threats to Earth One. Lithuel spends most of his time here.
