Night City Stories
This is a brief interest check for a story based in the Cyberpunk 2077, or a cyberpunk-based universe we can discuss and brainstorm together. This is my on-site version of the thread, so this is the thread to write over PMs, however I am also available over Discord.
About me:
- Several years of writing experience, seeking advanced / literate writers.
- Multi-paragraph style, averaging 300-500 words, however I'm flexible in this regard. Quality and descriptive writing is always more important than quantity.
- Looking for a decent amount of story. If I had to put a ratio for story/ smut, I'd say 70:30. This RP will have lots of sexual elements, and sex will be woven into the fabric of the story, but this is not going to be jumping from smut scene to smut scene with brief interludes of story so it makes sense.
- Willing to DM for this Roleplay, however if you would like to contribute and share some of the DMing workload, I would be more than happy to do so.
- Posting frequency. I tend to post 1 a day. Obviously flexible here if we get busy, however consistently posting once per week isn't enough to keep me engaged in an RP.
- Ghosting - if you lose interest in the RP, just let me know. I wont take it badly!
Some kinks I'd like to incorporate into this RP:
- Dominant characters and sub/dom dynamics. The characters I play tend to be dominant. Mostly the preference is dd/lg style,
- Butts: I love butts- anal sex, ass worship, spanking, face-sitting, and more.
- Outercourse: Hotdogging, titjobs, thighjobs are all big kinks of mine.
- Sexy/Slutty clothing. I like using visual references in my RPs, and I really enjoy writing with female characters who are confident in their sexuality. From wearing lingerie around the apartment during downtime in the RP, to going out to nightclubs wearing tight, revealing dresses, etc etc.
- Multiple characters. Both M/M/F and M/F/F. Bonus points for any writer who is willing to write as multiple characters either in the short-term or long-term. I've been keen to write an M/F/F poly relationship at some point, but this isn't a requirement.
- Romance. Unhealthy or not, I like it when a sexual relationship turns into something deeper!
- Body modification. This one is probably the least vanilla kink, and it's definitely optional. This includes plastic surgery and light bimbofication. Does not include dumbing down, brainwashing, etc.
- Faceclaims - would love to discuss this and figure out faceclaims for characters that work for both of us. Real life preferred. Preference towards 'bombshell' bodies for females, but lots of flexibility here.
Worldbuilding - As I mentioned, there are two main options for this RP. The first is that it takes place in the cyberpunk 2077 universe, using all of the lore available from there. The other is we brainstorm, discuss, and create our own cyberpunk inspired world with a little more freedom.
Plot hooks
ABOVE: Corporate Killers
I've always enjoyed writing as complex, dark, or even downright morally bankrupt characters who are motivated by money and personal gain. Our characters work for the dreaded mega-corporations of Night City. Whether it's Militech or Arasaka, these enormous, multi-trillion dollar businesses are known for using any means necessary to expand their market share. Market manipulation, collusion, corporate espionage, blackmail, and even assassination are all part of the playbook that allow them to keep their stranglehold over their industries and crush the competition.
My character heads up a small team tucked away in a secure part of the corporate office who specialise in this very kind of work. He is an ex-soldier who joined the corporate world after a stint in the military and fighting in some of the most notorious and brutal combat-zones in the world. Sick of killing for meagre pay, he decided to apply his skills in the corporate world. Now, after putting in his years, he achieved the title of 'managing director' and a 7 figure paycheck. Your character(s) could be an existing, experienced operative, or a new addition to the team who is assigned to work alongside my character on the various tasks that land on his desk.
This story would explore the more glitzy, glamorous side of the universe. We would be manipulating and blackmailing rival corporate executives, assassinating saboteurs or threats to the corporation's interests, stealing sensitive documents, or engaging in high-level market manipulation to drive up the corp's profits and deliver value to the shareholders. Not to mention enjoying the fruits of our labour with fully-paid luxury retreats to tropical resorts. This story would trace our character's rise through the ranks of the monolithic corporate entity they work for. Bigger houses, nicer cars, exotic destinations, and financial freedom is the ultimate goal.
BELOW: Street Rats.
Again, this idea would likely take on a similar mentor/ mentee relationship. Perhaps my character is a well-known mercenary who has built a name for himself over the last couple of decades, forging criminal connections and skilfully evading the attention of the police. Your character could also be an experienced merc, or someone entirely new to the industry, driven to the grimy underworld by circumstance, or an attempt to escape the slums and make enough money for a comfortable retirement away from the chaos and violence.
Nothing is off the table if the money is right. Gangland contract killings, drug smuggling, bodyguard work, or occasionally taking on a freelance job from a corporate contact would all make up the bulk of this story. Eventually, our characters might have to take sides in a gang war and play a decisive role in deciding the victor. Or, they could stay neutral, freelance mercs who refuse to bet on who could be the victor in underworld feuds. Over time, the goal of this is to build up a reputation, and build up enough wealth to eventually retire, or become king and queen of the underworld.
Note: Both of these ideas can be adjusted for a multi-character format where we play a small team rather than a duo.
