A restless dream
(Dark horror warning, gore, mature subjects) will also proofread this later so forgive any errors.
Loosely based on a nightmare I had years ago.

Endless darkness spreading across a thin veiled horizon of nothing. A dizzying black ink of sadness. The realm of darken souls and those who keep them in bondage.
Flickering pinpricks of light only tease the suffering bowels of this place when the light manages to push through. This causing an operatic choir of weakened screams to muffle out from below the veil.
Soft, distant voices echo the endless gaping black. Human tones so foreign and forgotten here only recognizable to a chosen few.

"Is anything there?" The soft feminine voice reverberates across the ocean veil forcing it to ripple as if sentient.
The darkness chokes and hisses as if to grin back to the innocent tones molesting it's place of solace.
Loud sloppy thrashing begins under the veil before calming as it bends and folds around a form. Like a membrane, the thin skin hugs the lithe skeletal body moaning painfully from under the living tissues.
The skin veil clinging around this form begins to weep blood. Gracefully the creature's long thin fingers peirce through the top. Viscera, blood and tissue fall from the now exposed form.

"Hello?" The gentle voice flutters in a forever echo.

Slowly the incredibly pale creature raises it's oval bare head. So pale it glows within the deep trench. Hissing through a fragile slit for a mouth at the voice. Squelching, it's body bends and contorted. Bones shifting from under the milky white oily skin. Forcing a smile, lips peeling and ripping a mouth. Black shimmering blood forms around the opening and drips onto the reforming membrane veil below the now hovering being.
Needle teeth push through soft black gums. Two gushing holes cut open across the gaunt face before the oozing thick liquid reveals two eyes staring into the comforting bed of darkness.
Jagged sharp bones prick through it's foreheads thin skin, bruising the area's wounds. It's smile never wavers, only increases as it's form takes shape embracing the betrayal of a human being. A curved indentation of a skeletal nose sniffed the sulfur air with hints of copper and iron. A black seal skin like tonge flicks and tastes the sweetness of the residual blood still lingering on it's lips before it's splitting lips reform a smile.
Thin translucent skin cradling around the creature's form unfolds into a spread of veined wings. So large they almost begin to bleed into the darken fog.
Revealing it's body, pale with blue hues of coagulation under the skin.
It writhes as scratching of it's skin is heard like ripping of paper. Pleasurable moans of pain forcing from its newborn mouth, gaping wide showing layers of needle teeth. Glyphs and symbols of ancient text now form, like an invisible blade carving into the skin.
This transhuman body, a perverted corruption of a human figure now hovering in suspension as if submerged in water. Gasping in a sadistic delight, tasting the innocence now trying to communicate.
Hovering a delicate hand into the air, the creature swipes a finger spelling out words as fresh blood drips from it's digit.

The invisible wall of dimension bleeds. Four young women all sit around a table with a Ouija board within a candle lit room.
"It's moving!" The woman excitedly squeals out once the planchette started to scratch along the board of letters.
"D....E....M....O....N" their voices repeat together in unison while the planchette stops on each letter.
The four of them look at each other in awe and shock. Their faces turn a pasty white, "demon?" One says before the candles snuff out and bathe them all in darkness. Curdling screams shrill out in terror before a light flicks on and all is safe again.
They all scramble and put away the cursed game to forget about what transpired that night.

An unforgivable act of not swiping 'goodbye ' caused a repercussion none of them could have fathomed.

Slipping the board back to its box and shoving it under the table, the brunette who had hosted the party decides to curl into a good book on the couch. It didn't take long before her eyes betrayed her and she falls into sleep.

The void has been open and aware. It seeps into her as she sleeps.
A sharp whisper of her name startles her, snapping her awake. The woman doesn't recognize where she is, a deep cold breeze caressed her naked vulnerable body. Wincing a gasp as she looks around only to see tall, black organic like monolithic structures. Barefooted, her toes sink into a mixture of fresh viscera and bone.
Startled as a rush of screams prick her ears as if the air itself is alive and suffering. The woman is speechless.

Pale clouds engulf the sky in suffocating swirls. It begins to rain down crude, slick bloody oils covering her body. Pure tears streak and break the shiny skin on her face, whimpering from the intense loneliness overwhelming her soul.
The sky darkened, her agitated eyes look up only to see what looks like a sheet of skin covering everything above. Darkness begins to swarm like a fog blanketing the surroundings into nothing. Still feeling the gore under her soles, the disgusting smell of iron and copper of fresh blood in her nose.
Again, her voice leaves her only to let a sudden gasp once she felt arms coil around her from behind.
The tall pale demon holds her. Grinding of teeth is heard in the blackness. She whimpers again.
It takes an effort for it to lean down so low in her ear, "You. Called. To me.." It's foreign voice was like a twisted gasp in her ear. The woman screams weakly, her essence fading away being so close to this abomination that once was of pure love and light. She could feel herself slipping away as if some form of unbearable depression was sinking into her body.
Holding her in this unholy embrace, the demon keeps her for what felt like years in this locked state of despair. She will stay locked in this forever limbo never to wake again in the human world.

Darkness expands beyond the minds comprehension only exposing the thin membrane of the veil once again. Eagerly awaiting another pinprick of light to add for its collection.

Very well written, I liked the picture you painted. Are you looking for a story with a helpless victim's soul to steal?

What if the human woman in your world possessed a strength that could fight against YC? If YC couldn't kill MC would you grow bored of the RP?
