Hiyo! Classie here!
I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 lately as my original D&D character from 2008 and it's reawakened a great passion in me for both the character herself and for the narrative stylings that a D20 game can bring.
Looking to play opposite a GM. I'm looking for any sort of pairing you might throw at an adventurer! Monsters, enemies, apparitions, gods and devil's and everything between! Plant monsters and mimics! Bandits and barbarians!
My character is named Hypatia (just Hypatia, she has a mononym). She's a drow, transgender (non-op). I usually play her as a Final Fantasy style Dragoon (basically a paladin with a focus on dragon powers, jumps, and polearms) and a devout follower of the god Bahamut. She has an affinity for silver dragons and ice magic.
I play her at a variety of ages, right now I'm interested in playing her at the phase of her life where she's outlived most of her friends and family and is getting a little Weird about the whole nigh immortal wanderer thing. She's stern and a bit of a grump, and can be imposing in her heavy armor. Outside of the armor she tends to be a little softer, and more vulnerable.
On the younger end of the spectrum she's a right eyed and busy tailed knight with a gleam in her eye and some very particular notions about Justice. At all ages she's in various stages of working out her relationship to the concepts of divinity, doctrine, and dogma.
I'm open to a variety of settings, although I'm not looking to introduce D&D mechanics into things.
Im down for fucking all kinds of monsters, critters, and bad guys. However I don't want to see my character injured without talking to me first, and character death is a no-go for me. I'm also not interested in sexual encounters with The Undead. My other big no-go items would be piss/scat, body odor, transphobic language (generally if you've seen a term for trans people in a porno title it probably falls under this umbrella).
Screenshots of my girl from BG3 to come later! I'm at work rn so I can't grab any.
PM me if you're interested!
PS: I'm happy to talk about game rules in general but expect me to be deeply critical of most versions of the D&D ruleset, I'm a huge mechanics snob. And I have big beef with WotC for a variety of reasons. I won't bring it up directly though, so if you're not interested in hearing a dry breakdown of rules and design issues in D&D just don't try to engage me in convoy about it and we're set! I'm plenty keen to talk about all kinds of non-D20 and non-WotC games all day long though!
