There's very little of use left, except for a broken pod containing a deactivated android. Though his first instinct is to destroy it, he instead brings it back to Bulma who manages to get the young woman up and running again.

Awkward and not at all thinking of romance (but has he ever?) he isn't sure what to do with the attention and is very ready to simply reject or ignore her until his mother gets involved. Though she has that one specific skill she's terrible undertrained in every other aspect of ki use, and it becomes clear that was an intentional choice on her mentor's part to keep her out of combat. Now Gohan has a choice in front of him - continue to let this potential fighter stay the way she is, or risk some of the soft kindness she has in order to help her become a powerful ally.

I'm wildly behind and working my way up through the anime as fast as I can (in the Thriller Bark arc right now!). I don't mind spoilers for the sake of character since there's all sorts of unrevealed backstory for everyone I'm sure, but will probably prefer to use plots we make ourselves as opposed to trying to follow canon.

» as Sanji has gotten more and more obsessed with women it's become more and more of something that's only interesting if given a little more... character work. Maybe he's never had actual meaningful feelings for a woman and doesn't know how to navigate it once that happens, maybe the flirtiness serves a purpose (making people underestimate him, some kind of social reason, a desire for validation, etc), maybe something else that you can think of. No matter what, the fact that the woman he's developed feelings for has seen him flirting so much is likely to get in the way of his initial attempts to form a meaningful romantic connection.
» a 'spoil of war' who had been forced to work on a ship under a pirate captain who loses a fight to the Straw Hats. She doesn't intend to stay, but they grow on her.
