Born from an American business man and a Japanese woman Kai grew up a slightly pampered life. However he suffered from a speech impediment due to a disability he has suffered since birth. Due to this his father spent most of his life trying to beat the disability out of him (In some rps literally). Years of seeing speech therapists led to nothing though as you can't fix a set of paralyzed vocal chords
Thus the business that his father built would go to Kai's younger sister. This suited the young man perfectly as all he wanted to do was live a quiet life, He got a degree in teaching English and Literature and started to write for fun, eventually publishing a romance novel under an alias for fun. His novel seemed to take off in sales much to his dismay though! Now he is afraid of people finding out he wrote the book, too socially awkward to handle the added attention. He dreams of meeting a wonderful woman who would accept him and settling down someday.
