Ellie gathered together all of the sweetbreads and treats that she was bringing to her grandmother in a nearby town. Their towns were only a few miles away from eachother, but the entire way was through a dense forest. She'd travelled the forest before however, and wasn't daunted by it.
She left her kitchen and got her cloak from the hall way, putting it on and tieing it tightly, lifting the hood over her head. It was a new cloak and was a bright rich red, she adored it. She picked up the basket and left the cottage, trotting down the road toward the forest.
It was midday and she figured that she would get to her grandmother's in a few hours, before it was dark. She would spend the night there and then come back in the early morning. Ellie had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, but they were mostly hidden by the hood. Her skin was pale and soft, delicate but not overly fragile.
