Alexander and Elizabeth bustled around the kitchen getting ready. The two were dressed comfortably, Alexander in a pair of gym short and a tank top, while Elizabeth enjoyed the freedom of some yoga gear. The two of them had dipped into the family supplies to make a comfort food meal for the whole family, blood and extended. They had been stranded on their new home home for over a week, and the two parents were eager to hear how their children were adapting to the new situation they found themselves in.

The two of them also wanted to to inform them of the developements with their third partner Mia, and their plans to add her to the marriage. Checking his watch, Alexander remarked, "They should be here soon.", as he put out a large bowl of pasta with red sauce, as he glanced over to get a full view of Elizabeth's ass as she bent over to access the oven and pull out a loaf of garlic bread.

It had been almost a week now since Abeba had shown up at The Drake Jupiter, in tears and rambling about her granddad's disgusting misogynistic and racist plans for his family and something about a deal with the Mercer's, asking if she could stay with them. She had been afraid to return to The Melbourne and with the Drake family being as open-minded as they were they had of course not only allowed her to stay but Elizbeth had not only suggested she could stay in Caitlin's cabin but also that perhaps Caitlin and Owen (whose cabin was on the upper deck) should switch cabins to give the two young lovers a bit more privacy.

Of course under the circumstances of everything that had happened between Abeba and Owen, and what the three of them did that very same evening, Abeba wouldn't have objected if she had had to stay with both the Drake twins in the same cabin but was more than happy to be allowed to sleep next to Caitlin every night, to wake up next to her every morning, and of course to have as much sex with her as either of them could possibly desire. And with Owen too. On some level she suspected that at leasat Mrs Drake wouldn't have objected very loudly to the idea of a throuple, or even a quadrouple if you counted Jaali as well, not with the way the Drake family was structured on the adult level.

It had bee quite obvious to her even before she moved in with them how intimate both Alexander and Elizabeth were with the au pair, like a second spouse to them both and a sort of second mom to Cait, Owen and Nate. It was exactly the sort of family she would want to help raise her children, the first by Owen and the other by Nate. She wasn't sure who would be the third. She and Caitlin had not got that far in their family plans, not that there were many options left. Theo Mercer perhaps, he could actually father a child with both herself and Caitlin. In the end it wouldn't matter much because one way or another they would all be related. Jaali would probably end up having a child with one or both of the Mercer twins, maybe even with Lea, and chances were that both Owen and Nate would as well, and probably also with Mac. It wasn't like there was a lot of options really, not with the protocol specifying each female to give birth to three children by three different fathers. Especially not taking into account that the general vibe around the colony was to exclude Lucas and Capheus as much as possible, even though in the long run it wouldn't work.

Early in the morning Caitlin and Abeba had left to go see if they could help with anything around the colony, whether it was the irrigation system or the small fields of recently planted crops. Owen had joined them and it had really felt like the beginning of a throuple as they walked up to the farming area near the lake. Walking between the twins as she was Abeba had almost taken both their hands to send out that very signal to anyone watching.

The three had spent the day together, doing a little work here and a little there before meeting up with Jaali as he relieved Nate from guard duty.
"Meet up later?" Abeba had asked her brother with a nod at Caitlin and Jaali had nodded.
"Sure," Jaali had agreed with a smile.
"I'll swing by when I've done my rounds."

Fifteen minutes later all four of them walked into the Esmeralda to find that their parents had gone out of their way to make a family dinner.

Things had been totally insane since that day Nate got hurt in the ruins and brought back Artemis. It seemed that two of the three family patriarchs were planning on adopting an extreme interpretation of the breeding protocol, where it seemed to Nate that forcing oneself on your breeding partner was the first resort, instead of the last. It made his blood boil to think that Sergeant Mercer, a man who he used to look up to, even admire, was part of this. Nate was going to make it clear very soon, that under no circumstances was anyone to do that to any member of his family, lest their already limited gene pool be culled further.

For now, however, the prospect of a family dinner was a welcome taste of normalcy in the midst of all this chaos. After saying hello to his siblings, he greeted Abeba warmly, as if she'd been a part of the family all along, and was determined to protect her from this bullshit. "If anyone so much as touches you without your permission...you let me know," he whispered in the ear of his sister's girlfriend before stepping away and heading towards the kitchen to see if he could be of any help.

Mia felt a hard mix of excitement and anxiety as she entered the family dining area. She was excited to announce their upcoming wedding, making her role in the family more public and more formal. But anxious as she wondered how it might affect the children. She was after all, a little closer in age to the children than to her spouses and socially had always been something between parent and sibling to the Drake children. It was also not lost on her that as a non-blood relative to Owen and Nate, she could well be expected to breed with them. Not that she would mind at all, but it was a lot to take in, even for a family as open as the Drake's.

In keeping with the unofficial dress code of the family, Mia was similarly attired as Elizabeth. Though she had been more tasked with distracting the kids than meal preparation so she hugged and kissed both Alex and Lizzie as she joined them. As the family arrived, she greeted each in turn giving special attention to Abeba. "It is so wonderful to have you here with us." She said as she hugged the girl tightly for a moment, she was by now practically a member of the family. She felt an additional bond with Abeba as their skin color more closely matched the rather pale Drake bloodline. She couldn't help but think they would both make for beautiful children when bred by the Drakes.

She had woke mildly nauseous this morning but was better now. She was already fantasizing it was the beginning of a pregnancy with Alex's seed so well sowed within her of late. But she knew it was just wishful thinking.

Alexander greeted his soon to be second wife with a loving kiss as she entered, "Is something good going on Mia? You look like you're glowing." he told her, resting his forehead against hers for a long moment, before the cooking food called his attention back to the food. As the family, both official and unofficial made their way in to make a packed dinner table in the cramped quarters of the Jupiter. Elbows found ribs, and thighs rubbed together, but it didn't seem to bother anyone, especially when the last of the food came out.

Everyone had been working hard in some capacity to help the colony grow and develop, so the first few minutes seemed to just be the sounds of people slurping noodles and the clack of silverware on plates. However Elizabeth found broke the lack of conversation eventually. Focusing on her children and the other younger people at the table she began, "First I want to say how proud I am of each of you for how well you've been acclimating to the strange situation we've found ourselves in. I know some of the changes were tough, particularly for you young ladies and duties imposed on you. And I know that some of the developments in the classroom the other day were a bit confusing, but you all handled that well. As things go on, I'm afraid that more changes will likely come, but I know you'll all handle it well. How are you all feeling about things? Any thing we need to talk about?”

She paused for a moment, pursing her lips around the rim of her glass, gauging reactions, while Alexander picked up where she had left off. "One thing we noted, is that right now we don't have much in the way of materials to make clothes, and no real way to get more. Until we figure something out, we think it would be best to take good care of the clothes we have, particularly while we figure or find out what the seasons on this planet will be like. We can't force anything in this regard, but for our part, you'll probably be seeing us in less clothes, or even naked while it's warm out to prevent wear and tear during daily activities and from washing and we encourage you to do the same to whatever degree you feel comfortable with. When we know more about this world's climate we can repurose what we have to meet our needs, or when we figure out how to make new fabric."

Looking down at himself, Alexander noted that he had inadvertantly slopped some pasta sauce onto his tank top. "Case in point." he laughed, and then following his usual mindset of there being no time like the present, he pulled off the garment, leaving him bare chested at the dinner table. He folded the shirt and placed it on the counter behind him. Elizabeth smirked and did the same, and then with her hands below the table, made it clear she had shimmied out of her Yoga pants. Anyone sitting next to her would see that she had forgone any sort of underwear. Clearing her throat and watching reactions for a moment she glanced at Mia. "Speaking of big changes, I think some of you may have guessed already, but Mia has an announcement I think." she said

Mia gave Elizabeth a playful but petulant look at being put on the spot. Especially doing so in the process of her partners making their own announcement of going nudist. Suddenly realizing all eyes were upon her, she decided to stall for a moment as her mind searched for words. "Well first things first." She said as she removed her own top, letting her full breasts fall free of her top as she looked about for the reaction of the Drake children and their guests. She folded the top neatly then stood and set it next to Alex's before shimmying out of her own yoga pants acting as if it were perfectly normal.

She turned back towards the gathered family. "I've loved all of you for years now, but I've loved your parents in a very special way just as they love each other. So I have asked them to marry me and they have agreed." She said, moving to stand between Alex and Elizabeth, a beaming smile on her face as her heart pounded in her chest. She was certain the children would be accepting, but still she needed to see it from them first hand.

Nate wasn't really about to strip off in front of his family, at least not until he thought of how much his parents' words made sense. Shrugging, he 'did as the Romans do', so to speak, standing up because he wasn't an accomplished nudist like his parents, and was afraid he might knock something over on the table in the process. Folding his clothes and setting them on a side table in the room before sitting back down for the big announcement, he was perhaps the first one to give any sort of reaction. "Well, I just have one thing to say." He got up, his poker face fully in place to keep everyone guessing as to how he felt, and went over to where Mia stood between his parents, all of them completely nude and Nate keeping his eyes fixed firmly on their faces (but he'd definitely checked out Mia as she stripped). "It's about damn time you guys made it official! Bring it in!" He threw his arms open and threatened to engulf them all in a group hug, his face now beaming.

Owen sat down shortly before the whole affair began, noticing the different feeling in the air. It was a good feeling, and he smiled broadly when Mia announced that she was officially joining their family. Chuckling, he clapped his hands, echoed his brother's "It's about time!" and stripped and slumped his greasy coveralls in a corner, but he wouldn't join in a naked group hug until Caitlin could act as a (very welcome) buffer between himself and his brother or biological parents. He did enjoy being with Caitlin, in that way, but his mother was still off-limits in his eyes. Mia, on the other hand...she was smoking hot, and it would be difficult not to see her that way. At any rate, depending on Caitlin's actions, he'd either join in, pressing himself mostly against his twin sister, or against Mia if it could be arranged. If not, he'd side-hug Nate or his dad and leave it at that.

Family dinner at the Drakes was usually a feast. They had always been a very close knit family, more so than many others Caitlin had always thought, with the throuple parenting team, unofficial but still, Mia was as much a mom to the Drake kids as Elizabeth with the only exception being that she had born neither of them in her womb. Somehow, with the new circumstances of their current situation she was sure this would soon change. She more than expected the next child from their dad would be born by Mia, and she couldn't be happier about it. It was about damned time she bore a Drake.

Another thing that set the Drake family apart from most other families was how comfortable they were around each other, well most of them anyhow, Nate being the exception that proved the rule. There had never been any taboos about being more or less naked around each other. It was after all quite a natural state and neither of them had anything to see that the others hadn't already seen. Sure Caitlin had initially, while going through puberty been a bit shy about her budding breasts but when she realised that no one in the family cared one bit, not her brothers, nor her dad or mom, not even Mia seemed to pay much attention should the added parent happen to catch a glimpse of her without clothes on. It was just how things were in the Drake family.

It was therefore no surprise really when her dad suggested that in the name of preserving their clothes they should wear ass little of them as possible around the Esmeralda and to show he meant it stripped down to his birthday suit, soon followed by their two moms and her brothers. Making very little fuzz about it Caitlin was next to strip down to nothing but her panties and glanced sideways at Abeba to see how she would react to this level of comfort with regards to clothes, or rather the lack of them.

Abeba was of course aware of the Drakes' casual attitude to being undress to various degrees in front of each other and she knew that Alexander made a good point about preserving their clothes as long as the temperature allowed for it but still ... Unlike Caitlin and her brothers Abeba had not grown up with the same casual attitude. Clothes was never optional in the Nyong'o family, except when you were alone, certainly not after puberty. They had always dressed before coming out to breakfast, unlike the Drakes who at times sauntered into the kitchen barely wearing a thread and sat down to eat as if it was nothing. She couldn't count the number of times she had exited Caitlin's room only to be greeted by either of the male Drakes' morning wood as they made their way to the toilet.

She hesitated for a little while, her eyes going back and forth between the three pairs of exposed breasts, but then she too took off her top and shorts but left her bra and panties on. She had after all had sex with two of the people around the table, and most of them had seen her naked during Elizabeth's show and tell sex ed class.

It also came as no surprise to Caitlin when Mia announced that she would now, finally, become an official Drake parent.
"About bloody time too," Caitlin said and stood up to join the family group hug, pulling Abeba along with her.

Elizabeth’s smile widened as her family, found and genetic accepted the changes proposed, seemingly without too much fuss.

As the group hug started she found her arms slipping around Mia’s waist and over Owen’s shoulder, her breast pressing into her sons bicep.

Caitlin stood next to her twin and pulled Abeda along with her, placing the dark beauty between Caitlin and Nate who stood shoulder to shoulder with his father.

In that press, however brief, that latest addition to the family, would gradually feel a warm, somewhat damp sensation of something hard pressing against her bare belly, before Alexander clapped his hands together. “Good! Now back to the food before it gets cold!” He said, taking his seat again a bit hurriedly.

Taking her own seat Elizabeth enquired. “Well… with those big announcements out of the way, do you four have anything to share?”
