The office where the team arrived was in the city Hotch lived. A woman had brought in something they migiht find intersting to the missing woman. It was a manilla envelope with a note and a cd inside the song was Love Tender by Elvis it was the first song him and Jennifer Breaux had dance to on their first date.

She at the moment was trapped inside a basment tied up and blindfolded with cuts and bruises from a beating lasting most of the night surprised she survived. She just prayed that she'd die or someone finds her to leave this hell she was in. She was dressed in her night closed showing off her long slightly tanned legs and her shirt clungs to her showing off her C chest and flat stomach also her arms which were toned from her work outs. She was in to much pain to even think straight she just kept the happy things she could think of in her head and tried to stay positive though she'd been missing for a week so she was starting to break slowly.

Gideon looked to the evidence and it hadn't been processed yet she thought they might want to look at it first. They were getting more information about the missing woman though a name hadn't been found yet just a rough sketch from a witness. The sketch had brown shoulder length hair and dark green eyes her face had gentle tan from a booth she tried once it was starting to slowly fade.

Amanda was new to the team, she'd only been with them for a week. Elle had quit and now she had to fill the gap. She was a 34 year old woman who had joined the FBI straight after college. This case was particulary hard since it was personal tot heir boss. The perp made it personal by contacting Hotch, leaving riddles to him, them. Garcia had just found the identity of the woman, maybe five minutes ago. Jennifer Breaux. That had been a shock.

Hotch had turned pale at the mention of the name, even though his emotionless mask had not been taken off, him turning pale was hard to miss. He'd been seeing that girl and now someone was hurting her to get back at him, and it was working, thinking straight became very hard. But so far nothing, no clue to where she could be.

The guys clues were going to get weirder and some what obvious if they put them on a map. He started leaving dolls around the city with the address they were bought at and left at on the tags around their neck. The poor dolls were mutalated just like Jennifer was and it was hard for people to see and the first one got little attention but the news people helped by saying anything suspicious call the police. This was the third one they found and Gideon went out to look at the scene giving Hotch a bit of time to himself.

This one was at a cafe that Jennifer worked at her parents own it and the doll was left where she always takes her lunch break. The address was like the other three in a specific place when he gave it to Information as Jenifer called her she started to put them on a map they oddly made a triangle. He caled Ashely and let him know this to put the spots down and start searching in those areas until another doll was found to get more accurate or another clue alltogether. One of the key things is Jennifer went to these places and they didn't know but the killer was keeping her in her own house.

((I didn't forget I had some trouble logging on. But your reply confused me, who did Jennifer call? Isn't she the victim, was she allowed to make a phonecall?))

Amanda walked to Hotch's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in." Hotch said.
Amanda stepped inside and walked tot he front of his desk. She thought it was strange they hadn't gone to Jennifer's house yet. Wasn't it standard procedure to profile the victim and for that visit their home? "Sir? I'd like to go to Jennifer's home and see if there's anything I can find to help the case." She said.
"Why we have all the information here?" He asked.
"It's standard procedure and with all due respect not everything about someone can be found on a computer, just facts, but not how they dealt with them and most people have things they never tell anyone about. I know this is personal, but I really think this could help." She said.
Hotch sighed, she had a point. "Alright, I'm coming with you." He said. He was glad to have something to do other then wait for the next stupid doll.

Gideon was trying to figure out where the next one might be with a little math. With the help of the some of the other officers figured better to have a guess then nothing what so ever.

Jennifer's house was a two story with the bedrooms on the first floor and a basment and a small backyard. There was a bedroom office and art room upstairs and a kitchen living room and dinning room downstairs. The house was neat and clean just like she'd left it the crook was smart not to bother with anything. She saddly was in the basement the coldest place in the house and she was out from lack of food and it being so cold. The crook was out scouting his next place to leave a doll he was foot to not look so suspiciou in her car.

It was a short drive there, a silent one. The standard rocedure kicked in when they endtered the house. First checking ground floor, then Hotch took upstairs and Amanada downstairs. She found it odd the door was locked. She looked for a key and finally found it taped under one of the stepd of the stairs. She opened the door and was shocked by what she saw. She first called for a bus and back-up, yelled to Hotch to come down to the basement.

Hotch ran down there as fast as he could and saw her. Damn, why hadn't he thought of going to her house before? "Is she..." He asked.

"She's unconsciouss, weak, but steady polse." Amanda said. She'd folded up her jacket and put it under Jennifer's head. "I already called for a bus and back up." She told him. She knew that was what he would have done. Sirens could be heard just a few minutes later.

She groaned feeling a touch to her head it hurt and everything else too. "No..." She said thinking it was the man who'd done this to her. "Don't hurt.." She smelled the jacket and snuggled it it was warm and smelled clean.

The EMTs walke din "Hello! Someone call for a bus?" The guy screamed not seeing anyone and thinking this was a joke he didn't need.

"It's OK now, he's not here." Amanda said. She hoped Jennifer would realize she was no longer in danger.

Hotch ran upstairs to meet the EMTs. "Yes the bsement." Hotch said, telling them where their patient was. The EMTs went down and looked at Jennifer. "What's going on here?" One of them asked. "Someone held her prisoner in her own home." Hotch told them. That was all they needed to know. They left with her quickly.

Amanda looked at Hotch as the police began arriving and the home was turned into a crimescene. "At least we found her, now to find the son of a bitch that did this." She said and looked around. "Yes." Hotch replied and looked at her. Hotch called Gideon with the news, then he and Amanda looked around the house with a profiler's eye, looking for anything the perp had left before going back to headquarters.

She looked around and covered her face all the people was making her nervous. She looked to Amanda and smiled then for Hotch anyone to hold her hand.

The crminal left sleeping clothes and a sleeping bag also food eatten and not eatten. Also IDs he'd stolen and credit cards this guy wad either an idiot or trying to fool them.

Gideon was glad to hear the news and wanted Hotch to go with her maybe she'd tell him more then anyone else.

Hotch took her hand and looked at Amanda. "I'm gonna ride with her, can you handle things here?" Hotch then asked.

"Sure, no problem." Amanda said. They found quite a lot. This guy was obviously no fool, but he was gonna get busted now. They should be able to get his DNA off of some of these items, maybe fingerprints too. When she was sure things would be OK, then went to the hospital to meet up with the others.

She found them in the waiting room. "Hi guys." She said, but it wasn't a cheery greeting. She sat down next to Gideon and across the hall from Hotch.

She looked to him and smiled "Hi." She said with a weak smile and held his hand not wanting to loose him.

Gideon was sitting there waiting for news but he figured Hotch was busy just enjoying that she was back. "Hi no news yet. I think Hotch forgot us." He said with a smile.

Jennifer was still holding his hand afraid she'd leave she was scared she'd never be safe again.

"Hi." Hotch said. "I'm glad to see you." He said and with that he meant alive. He sat down next to her bed, he could guess she was really scared. He wasn't going to leave right now.

"Can't blame him. And she must be so scared. But we can help, how about we go catch this son of a bitch. Then we'll have great news to tell them. It should help her relax too." Amanada suggested. Besides she was getting restless.

She smiled and looked to him "Hi I'm just glad to see you." She snuggled close to him and held his arm with both hands not wanting him to leave. "When can I go home? So we can snuggle one of these days."

"Sounds good to me." He looked at her and sighed "And get some coffee this place is making me sleepy."

"I don't know, but it's probably gonna be a few days." Hotch said. He'd go ask the doctor if she wasn't clinging to him so much, but it was an obvious message, don't leave. He could see how scared she was.

The others were in too. JJ went off to tell Hotch their plan who was more then happy with it. Amanda left the hospital with them and first they stopped at the first joint they could find to get some coffee. After that it was back to the bureau and catch a serial something. They didn't know if he'd killed, but running his MO would help.

"Aww but I'll miss you." She sniffled lightly and didn't want to be alone anymore. "I can recover at home I'm sure I'll be ok." She looked to him just wanting to be somewhere she knew she wasn't sure if she could go in the basement ever again.

Gideon was waiting with the SUV type thing ready and after they were all in stopped for coffee then off to the berearu."Hopefully this guy leaves a clue we can watch for. Did Jennifer see him at all?"

"I'm not going anywhere." Hotch told her. Having interrupted the guy could make him more dangerous and the others could hadn't it. "I'm afraid that isn't possible It's a crime scene now. Also it's where he kept you. It wouldn't be wise to go home for a while. You should stay here and recover. There will be two policeofficers outside the door who won't let anyone in except a doctor or nurse with valid ID. But it would help if we knew what he looked like. Did you see his face?" Hotch then asked. If he had shown it to her he had no intention of letting her live.

Hotch wasn't coming with them. "I don't know, but maybe we'll know later. If she is going to talk to anyone it'll be Hotch." Amanda said. ((So what does Gideon think about Amanda?))"Well they're still processing everything we found at the house, hopefully that inclused some prints or DNA." She said. But that they could only wait for. She sipped her coffee.

"Aww ok then can I at least have some paper to draw on? So I don't loose my marbles this place is so quiet and clean." She giggled and smiled lightly then looked to him "I could draw him I can't get his face out of my mind." She shivered and closed her eyes trying to shake the image from her mind for am oment.

"True." He nodded and went with her "You did a good job to find her and that was smart to go there that's kind of the last place we looked." He sighed and kept driving getting stuck in traffic."I hope we don't find another victim I don't mind the little dolls that's the easiest cases we've gotten in a while." He joked trying to relieve some stress.
