Restaurants make for great places to meet men

Samantha was on time as she was most days. Well on time for todayâ??s odd schedule, she was at her fatherâ??s restaurant a few hours early. Which was odd, normally Norman the door man, and Eric his brother who waited tables were both there early but they would only arrive shortly before the man coming to do an article did. She sighed softly unlocking the door, her father unlike her had no sense of time but she had set his phone alarm so he would be reminded thirty minutes before the man arrived.

A large box with a list sat on the long table in the waiting area. Samantha picked up the list and skimmed it before looking up and seeing her reflection in the wall sized mirror. She looked nothing like her father really, while the man was pale and thin she was a deep tan and had an athletic build, not large just toned and far more healthy looking then her father. She pulled her long brown hair into a sloppy bun picked up the box as her large green eyes went to work following the detailed list.

With everything done on her end she popped in on the men in the back, they were just finished making the meal for the man and had the kitchen looking like a chrome paradise. Tables set, lights on, table cloths set red on white, everything was in order. Her fatherâ??s arrival (ten minutes late even with the alarm) set off the final count down, everyone rushed to make sure everything was a perfect as it possibly could be. Looking everything over once more kissed her fatherâ??s cheek then stepped outside so she may greet the man as well as Norman.

â??Norman the doorman calm yourself. You look like you are going to faint. I am the one who has been running all over this place in heels in a skirt.â? Samantha teased the man at the door, she was rather calm which was odd since the last time someone with a magazine had stopped by the kitchen had caught on fire and the lobsters they had ordered had been mixed up with crabs. She tapped her foot to the beat of the soft classical music coming from the speakers above her head until a dark car pulled up and Norman walked over to open it with her right behind him.
