Welcome!​

My name is Mint, and welcome to my little corner of ideas! I don't want to post a giant wall of text, but I will outline a few things about me and what I am looking for. I'm a 25 year old woman looking to write fantasy/sci-fi with original stories/characters. I don't enjoy writing in fandoms unless we are both playing original characters. I don't enjoy playing out fem-dom tropes or overly submissive women, either. I much prefer a healthy balance of strength, wits, and banter between characters. I will also keep my plots short but feel free to message me about any of them - I have condensed them so they're easier to read!​

As far as kinks go, I am fairly open unless it's on my limits section. Please discuss what you'd like to incorporate into the story via PM.

someone who is willing to brainstorm plot ideas together with me, but if you don't have any ideas brewing in your head just yet, don't worry! I have a ton we can expand upon. I don't enjoy short replies - sometimes it's totally understandable but anything under a paragraph consistently is hard for me to feel motivated about. I expect you to follow the Umbra rules and also respect that I don't want to write off of the forum.

broken wings: rivalry | dragons | academy | forced proximity | fantasy | fxm Every ten years, the kingdom of Varros is graced by dragons willing to bond with a human rider. The dragon-riders of Varros are the most elite of warriors, and with their mage second, are supposed to form a perfect team. Our characters have enlisted in the academy in hopes of being selected by a dragon - there are lesser and lesser dragons willing to bond and nobody knows why. They are paired together at random, and tensions arise as both wanted to be dragon-riders and only one will potentially live out their dream.
sheild and sword: adventure | DnD | questing | sexual tension | fantasy | fxm This would be heavily DnD inspired, although I don't want to use rolling, etc. I will leave this quite open-ended because DnD games are super fun to build up together!
stolen promises: betrayal | powerplay | forced servitude | fantasy (Japanese inspired) | fxm I would say this one leans the most toward smut, but there is still plenty of storyline here! In the celestial realm atop clouds called Frisia, everyone is immortal. That is, they cannot die of illness or old age, but can still be killed. The Frisian people have varying levels of life-force, which is what embues them with their powers. The lowest of the rank are barely more skilled with magic than a mortal human, while the nobility and strongest warriors are brimming with power. Your charater is a warrior that has risen the ranks with impressive displays of strength, bravery, and intelligence. They are lauded by many, their power sought after by even more. In the darkness of the Yokari, the realm of demons, he is known as the embodiment of life -therefor power - itself. My character is a demon spirit that disguised herself as a woman whom which your character falls in love with. In a skirmish on the very edges of Frisia, closest to the encroaching darkness of Yokari, my character is on the very edge of death. Your character pledges his life to her, unbeknownst that they have just tied their fate with a demon-spirit, who they are now under the control of.
sci-fi plot: opposites attract | light-hearted | space | heist | sci-fi | fxm W.I.P for now, but it would be a space-traversing adventure!
