SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

Mitsuhide grunted when he hit the ground, swinging his koukaku to bite into Yukimura's neck and try to take his head. Sasuke moved to dig his knife into Mitsuhide's forehead, buried it to the hilt and appearing to kill the man.

Mitsuhide’s blade never met Yukimura’s neck, staggering back as he breathed heavily, coughing as the smoked filled the room.
“Sasuke?” He called out, no longer able to see even Mitsuhide in front of him, the smell of the gas blinding him from smells too.

"Here, dana!" Sasuke moved to grab his arm, "We should wait for the smoke to clear, I need to get suppressants for Date. We should take advantage for the poor visibility." The sound of Masamune's scraping claws could be heard, as well as his strained and heavy breathing, but neither could see where he was.

Yukimura’s kakugan was still agitated, but he nodded as he panted slightly from the effort of beating Mitsuhide.
“Right.. Let’s hurry before things spiral out of our control..” He agreed.
Amaya had used the remnants of her shirt to wrap the parts of her arms that had been flayed, using a wet cloth to clean up Akihime’s face carefully.
“There.. You’re cleaned up now… I'm sorry, Aki..” She said softly, sitting beside Akihime.
Megohime no longer struggled to breathe now that her neck had been set correctly, but not yet able to move or speak.

Sasuke helped pull Yukimura into the side room that Akihime, Amaya, and Megohime were hiding in. He moved to Amaya, frowning softly.
"Are you doing alright?" He asked. Akihime didn't really move when she was cleaned, or even when Sasuke and Yukimura came in. She just sat there, disassociated.

Amaya looked back to Sasuke, still wobbly, but she was managing well enough watching over Akihime and Megohime.
“Managing the best we can..” She glanced to the door they had come in from.
“Did you guys finish things already?”
Yukimura moved to kneel in front of Akihime, his brown eyes softening as he carefully reached for her hand, taking it slowly into his own.
“Sasuke dealt with the man… the woman fled.” He reported quietly.
“What about Date?” Amaya frowned.

"There's a bunch of smoke in the room. I need the needles to calm Date down, I wanted to help get dana out of there." Sasuke said, "I figured if we can't see, neither can he."
Akihime didn't even react to him there, no more blood staining her mouth thanks to Amaya's dutiful care, but it stained her clothes still. It wasn't hers, much to Yukimura's relief, but it was still distressing that it was Amaya's blood. What was that man hoping to do? Was it a form of psychological torture? It seemed to have worked really well.

“… doesn’t need to..” Megohime croaked out, neck finally healed enough for her to speak and move minimally, blinking slowly as she turned her gaze to the others.
“He doesn’t need.. to see you.. tracks on smell and sound..”
“And right now, we all reek of blood.” Amaya scowled softly, knowing even if they ditched their bloody clothes, her and Megohime’s wounds would still lead him right to them.
Yukimura frowned, reaching to touch Akihime’s cheek gently.
“Then we’ll make sure he can smell us too. Amaya, let me borrow a piece of your shirt.” He asked, looking to her, Amaya nodding and removing the impromptu wound dressing to hand to Yukimura.
“I’ll draw Dates attention, and you get him with the tranqs.” He said, looking to Sasuke.

“Both of you be careful- and take these.” She dug the tranq-bullets from her pocket, never getting the chance to use them, holding them out to Sasuke.
“Megohime’s gun should be on the bar, hopefully it’ll help some against Date.”
“Thanks, Amaya.” Yukimura stood, moving to the door the peek out the cracked opening.

The smoke had cleared some, and as soon as Yukimura slid the door back, Masamune appeared in front of him. He tackled Yukimura through the paper door, knocking him to the floor and sitting on top of him, jaw opening wide.
"Dana!" Sasuke yelled, eyes wide, but before he could move, Akihime pushed herself up from the wall. She cleared the distance almost too easily and her leg swung out to collide with Masamune's jaw. There was a loud sound of skin against bone, Masamune flying off of Yukimura. She followed after him as he thrashed against the floor like a turtle on its back, her eyes wild with anger. She brought her foot down on his chest and he cried out as the air was forced from his lungs before she kicked him into the wall. He scrambled upright, growling at her in anger.
"I'll kill you. I'll kill you, I'm gonna kill you!!" Masamune shrieked before Akihime's fist connected with his kakuja mask and cracked it. She grabbed him by his collar and knocked his head back against the wall, grabbing his throat when he tried biting for her. She slammed him back into the floor and bashed his head over and over into the tatami, her hands around his throat and her knuckles white from how tight he was holding him. Sasuke looked horrified, unable to move to stop her.
"Aki..."

“Akihime..!” Yukimura’s hands were over hers, his voice finally breaking through to Akihime as he struggled to pull her away from Masamune.
“You’re going to hurt yourself!” He struggled to control Akihime, figuring Mitsuhide’s torture had triggered her to make her react toward Masamune in such a way.

She froze, finally snapping from her anger as she stared down at Masamune. Sasuke took the opportunity to inject Masamune with the suppressants as Yukimura pulled Akihime away from the yakuza boss.
"What happened?" She signed, knuckles bruised and split from beating against the hard shell of Masamune's kakuja.

He carefully escorted her away from Masamune’s battered body on the ground, sitting her back down beside Amaya as he looked over her split knuckles and even the abrasion on her leg from when she kicked Masamune.
“I’m not sure..” He answered shaking his head.
“You attacked him as soon as he tackled me into the room..”
“Aki, your hands..” Amaya frowned worriedly.

Akihime watched Yukimura work, her nerves still firing from the random and sudden shot of adrenaline.
"I don't..." Her hands paused, tears blurring her vision, "I don't remember..." She could have killed Masamune, like she had done with Matsunaga.

Yukimura didn’t think her hands were broken, but he would take her to the doctor after to be safe.
“It’s ok, it’s over- you really helped us out there.” He said with a tired smile.
“I thought for sure he would rampage like he did last time..” Amaya muttered in relief.
“Is he still breathing..?” Megohime asked, head turned to look at Masamune laying on the ground.

Sasuke looked back and grinned, "He's fine."
"What the fuck." Masamune groaned loudly, his scales crumbling off his body, "I feel like I was hit by a truck..."
Akihime looked up at Yukimura in fear; what would happen if Masamune found out she was the one to clobber him like that?

Yukimura blinked at her expression before realizing what the problem was, perking up a bit as he looked to Masamune with a sheepish smile.
“S-Sorry, Boss Masamune, Sasuke and I had to use force to be able to tranquilize you.” He said, taking the blame.
“You had lost control again.”

Masamune sat up, rubbing his head, "Damn, you guys really fucked me up..." He muttered. Sasuke had no trouble taking the credit to save Akihime from any punishment.
"It was either us or you, I hope you understand."
"Whatever," Masamune muttered before looking around in a daze, "Where's Megohime?"

“Ah, over here..” Amaya motioned to where Megohime still lay on the ground, arms working but her legs were still numb and only twitched when she tried to move them.
“I’m fine, my neck is almost healed anyway.” She muttered, rubbing her neck gingerly, finding the sensation of having five fingers again somehow strange.
Yukimura was relieved that Masamune bought the lie, shoulders sagging just slightly as he looked back to Akihime with a small reassuring smile.

"Sarutobi."
"Oh, sure." Sasuke helped Masamune up so he could go check on Megohime. He sat beside her and frowned softly.
"You doing ok?" He asked, making her a bit more comfortable.
Akihime smiled weakly, pulling her hands back to sign.
"I'm so exhausted."
Sasuke moved to Amaya, frowning as he tried not to linger on the bite marks.
"Do you need help with anything?"

“Freak broke my neck and carved out my organ... I’ll live.” She muttered, letting herself relax, and Masamune fuss over her.
“He better be dead.”
“You really should get checked over by the doctor, make sure nothings broken.” He suggested.
“Make sure your jaw is uninjured as well.”
Amaya noticed him staring at the bite marks, avoiding his gaze to escape the uncomfortable feeling that writhed in her gut, feeling abruptly vulnerable with only the vest portion of her uniform and bra left.
“I’ll get my ribs and arms treated by the doc… None of my injuries are that serious.” She shook her head.

"I don't think we'd all be in here if he was alive." Masamune replied gently, petting her hair slowly, "I'll get you some food so you can heal."
Akihime nodded, feeling like that would be better than just lying down.
"Help me?" She asked.
"I don't know, you're missing chunks of skin." Sasuke remarked gently.

“I want his corpse burned along with the trash.” She declared, finding it soothing for Masamune to pet her hair. Between her neck injury and the deep wound in her back, her healing had slowed down once more.
He nodded, picking up Akihime so he could carry her to the infirmary.
“I’ll call Takemura in, have him check everybody over.” He said, looking to Sasuke.
“He didn’t damage the muscle or nerves,” Amaya frowned softly.
“Just some scarring..”

"I'll see to it myself." Masamune assured, looking over all the wounds and bruises she had.
Akihime leaned against Yukimura as he carried her, trying not to fall asleep. Sasuke looked over and nodded.
"Sounds good, dana. I'll stay here with them." He replied before looking back at Amaya, "Regardless, that's more rest you'll be taking for the foreseeable future, young lady."
