SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

Mitsuhide stood there for a moment before his eye moved to look at her, "There was really no call for that." He said. Akihime gasped sharply in fear at the sight, her eyes wide. How was that possible? Shouldn't he have died? Mitsuhide mobed and slammed his knee into Megohime's gut with all his might before throwing her across the room.

Megohime took the full force of the blow from his knee, wheezing as she slammed into the wall before collapsing onto the ground. She vomited blood onto the floor this time, her stomach ruptured from his attack. She brought her hazy vision up to look at the skinny man across the room from her, pushing herself up slowly from her hands and knees.
Amaya couldn’t sit and do nothing for much longer, hoping that the man’s companion wouldn’t return anytime soon. With the Mitsuhide’s attention on Megohime, she dropped to the ground out of her chair, quickly bringing her bound wrists under her so they could be in front of her. Dashing for Mitsuhide, she jumped onto his back, bringing her arms down over his neck, and using the wrist restraints to slow him down. Even if he didn’t kill Megohime, who knows what exactly he had planned for her and Akihime. Amaya pulled with all of her strength, squeezing hard around his throat.

Mitsuhide was pulling the knife out of his eye when Amaya jumped on his back, hooking his thumb under the zip tie to have enough room to grab it and pull it off his neck.
"It seems both of you want to die tonight." He said. Akihime gave a loud noise, shaking her head as she almost hopped out of her chair.

“The phone, Akihime!” Amaya didn’t let go of him that easily, wrapping her legs around his waist and readjusting her grasp around his neck; she only had to buy enough time for Akihime to call for help.
Megohime moved despite her wounds, targeting Mitsuhide’s ankles, trying to take his clean feet off to immobilize him.

Akihime nodded and tried to get her hands in front of her quickly so she could text Yukimura an S.O.S. Even if he was able to pull away, they were all the way in Osaka. It would be hours before they would get back. She managed to send a panicked and typo heavy text to Yukimura before Mitsuhide grabbed her and threw her to the floor, stepping on Megohime's bikaku long enough to break Akihime's phone. She watched it crumble under his heel and was relieved; the signal it would send upon its destruction would only solidify the urgency.
"This is how you all welcome guests, I'm very disgusted by the etiquette." Mitsuhide said, doing his best to unlatch Amaya from his back without Megohime getting much of a hit on him.

“Except, you aren’t guests.”
Megohime hissed, attacking relentlessly even now as she wrapped the bikaku he stepped on around his ankle to pull his foot out from under him, piercing through his gut, making sure to stop short to not harm Amaya on his back.
Amaya felt relief that Akihime had managed to send off a warning, feeling the impact of Megohime spearing Mitsuhide and feeling grateful that she hadn’t misjudged.

Out in Osaka, Yukimura felt his phone silently vibrate in his suit jacket, then a moment later, both his phone and Sasuke’s vibrated for a second time.
Yukimura recognized the unique vibration pattern alerting to a destroyed device, but the Yakuza clan meeting was already underway, only able to give Sasuke a tense silent look.

Mitsuhide coughed blood but only grinned at Megohime as he took a step closer, doing his best to have the bikaku pierce through Amaya unless she let him go.
"Our invitation was lost in the mail, I suppose~"

Sasuke was staring at him with equal unease before he excused himself to check. Masamune barely glanced back as Sasuke left, listening to each boss communicate needs and expectations. This was all so boring; he only needed corpse meat from these old bastards, as well as pledges of loyalty. Which only implied no encroaching into turf that wasn't theirs for any reason.
Sasuke came back and leaned close to Yukimura to whisper.
"It was Aki's phone." Was all he said, quiet enough that no one else would hear.

“Like hell it was, freak..!” She had no choice but to withdraw her kagune, not willing to run through Amaya; Mitsuhide likely wouldn’t die from a wound like that, but would hopefully slow him down. Amaya jammed her thumb hard into the eye Megohime hadn’t stabbed, putting enough strength behind it to feel the skull inside his eye socket.

Yukimura felt ice cold dread at Sasuke’s four simple words, giving him a glance to acknowledge him, standing to check the message that had been sent before the alert pinged them both.
Excusing himself softly and leaving Sasuke with Masamune, needing to see for himself what the message said.

"That's rather impressive," Mitsuhide remarked before having a better grip on her bound hands. He threw his head back into Amaya's nose and used the angle to get her arms off from around his neck, turning to fall backwards and hit the ground with their combined weight. Akihime pushed herself up and grabbed the empty bottle of wine, using it as a bat to hit Mitsuhide across the face. It broke his jaw and shattered the bottle, but he easily moved kicked her away so hard she hit the bar counter.

Despite the typos in her rush to get the text out to him, he could still read it pretty well.
"Two people broke into the estate. Megohime is incapacitated. Amaya and I are bound. Masamune's men are MIA possibly dead."

Amaya cried out as he broke her nose and then fell on her, forcing the wind from her lungs and stunning her, seeing white spots as she gasped painfully for air.
Mitsuhide was impaled in the throat by Megohime's bikaku, the half-ghoul struggling to keep on her feet from her injuries and the alcohol, pulling as hard as she could to get him away from Akihime.

He pocketed his phone before he broke it, taking a moment to steady himself and his shaking hands before he returned to the room, moving calmly to Masamune.
“Two intruders have taken control of the estate.” He spoke calmly into Masamune’s ear, but he could feel the itch of black veins creeping under his eyes already, far from calm.

Mitsuhide choked before grabbing her bikaku in both hands and yanking her forward, punching her hard in the temple at the angle she fell toward him in.

Masamune immediately lifted his hand to silence the boss from Kyoto, turning his head to look at Yukimura.
"Where's Megohime?" He asked, tone firm, "And the boys?"

She was slammed hard to the ground, head swimming and nose dripping blood, cheek red and swelling. Megohime didn’t get up this time, finally brought down from her injuries as her bikaku slowly disintegrated. Even Amaya struggled on the ground, her entire ribcage aching with a vengeance, having likely broken more.

“Megohime has been subdued by the intruders it seems, and the boys are likely dead.” Yukimura quelled his urge to make the request outright to Masamune to return home, but perhaps he wouldn’t have to convince Masamune at all.

Mitsuhide turned to Akihime, who watched in horror as two of the strongest women she knew were almost easily beaten by just one man.
"Now then," Mitsuhide grabbed her and she whined, "let's find a suitable place to put you."

Masamune's kakugan activated at that and he stood.
"Wh- Where are you going, Date?"
"Listen. I got some business to take care of back home. So, here's the deal: you guys are going to keep playing nice and keep sending me my food, and if I hear about anyone trying to worm out of any obligations, I will come to your home personally." Masamune said before turning to walk out, "Sanada. Sarutobi."
"Hai, hitto." Sasuke moved after him, not looking back at the humans who were left in a stupor.

“Aki…” Amaya croaked out, watching helplessly from the floor, feeling like her limbs were full of lead.
“Leave them be..” Megohime tried and failed to pull herself upright once more, unfocused red eyes watching Mitsuhide, brow furrowed.

Date.” A voice rang out behind the three, one of the men at the table standing with an angry scowl on his face.
“We’re all in agreement on paying you the tribute you’re owed- you’ll get all the human bodies you want and more -but what about what _we_ are owed?” Kazuto Arase watched Masamune with a displeased look.
“When next will we be honored with your presence?”
Yukimura followed after Masamune, a soft frown forming on his face when the Yakuza leader called out to them.

Mitsuhide pulled an armchair up from the side and sat Akihime in it, cutting her ties before rezipping her wrists to the arms of the chair and then zipping her ankles to the legs.
"There~ you won't be going anywhere anytime soon~" He said. Akihime glanced over at Amaya and Megohime before looking back up at him.
"Oh, don't worry~ I'll take good care of them."

Masamune turned, walking backwards so he could reply.
"I'm ever a man of my word, Kazuto. You'll all get yours, not a moment sooner or later. If you have any questions or concerns, I'll deal with them when I get to them, but right now I need to leave. Ja!" He turned back and gestured to Sasuke, "Get behind the wheel. If any cops try to stop you, no they didn't."
"Got it." Sasuke nodded and climbed into the car, Masamune getting in the back with Yukimura.

Amaya had rolled onto her side to take in a breath that wasn’t agonizing, slowly managing onto her knees, but it was clear her arm wouldn’t allow for anymore fighting. Her phone buzzed in her back pocket, signaling an incoming call.

Kazuto didn’t look satisfied with Masamune’s answer, but didn’t speak up or try to stop him a second time.
Yukimura dialed Amaya’s cellphone as he climbed into the car, pressing the device to his ear as it rung.

"Oh, allow me~" Mitsuhide said, taking a couple strides and retrieving Amaya's phone, answering and placing it to his ear, "Moshi mosh~?"

Sasuke put the peddle to the floor when everyone was secure, wanting to get back to the estate as fast as the car would take him.

Yukimura felt his heart sink as an unfamiliar voice answered Amaya’s phone, confirming all of his worst fears.
“Is this one of the intruders?” He asked, putting his phone on speaker so Masamune and Sasuke could listen in.

"Intruders~? I can assure you, we were invited~" Mitsuhide replied.
"Bullshit, what the fuck are you doing in my house? Where's Megohime?!" Masamune hissed. Mitsuhide chuckled, turning toward said yakuza mistress and moving closer.
"She's just here~ she's fine~ more or less~" He replied, "Amaya is fine, as well~ though her ribs might have been broken again, poor dear~"
"Bastard." Sasuke gnashed his teeth, nearly pushing the peddle through the floor to drive faster.

“What have you done with Akihime?” Yukimura asked sharply, feeling the familiar angry itch start under his skin.
“Fuck you..” Megohime managed to spit out from her spot on the ground, but none of her injuries were healing like they should- the consequences of drinking alcohol as a ghoul. She could only focus on not passing out, the small amount of blood mixed into her wine doing little to help aid her, her ruptured stomach keeping her immobile.

"Oh, Akihime? She's fine. Here," Mitsuhide moved to Akihime and held the phone towards her, "say hello, Akihime~"
"Mmm!!" Akihime tried to thrash in the chair, crying out so harshly in her throat that it hurt. Mitsuhide pulled the phone back to his ear.
"See~? All alive~ at least for now~"
"You son of a bitch." It was taking all of Masamune not to rip the fabric of the seat, every cell in his body burning.

The screen of Yukimura’s phone cracked from holding his phone too tightly, readjusting his grip to not break it and lose the call.
“Who is this?” He tried to keep his voice steady, trying to keep Mitsuhide on the phone as long as he could.
“To have the gall to take hostages after invading a home, and then calling yourself a guest.”
Amaya could only listen to the conversation Mitsuhide was having with who she could only assume to be Yukimura, wiping her bloody nose with the back of her hand, eyes glancing across the floor at the pistol Megohime had been using- which still had bullets remaining within.

"I am a guest~ I'm just keeping an eye on these lovely ladies while my beloved does what she needs to do~ she is taking her sweet time, however. I haven't seen her for some time." Mitsuhide replied, "She's a friend of Date's, if that helps any~"
"It doesn't and you know that!" Masamune snapped, "Who the fuck are you?!"
"I've already taken up too much of your time~ you three still have another five hours to get here~ we'll see you soon~ ja ne~" And with that, Mitsuhide hung up the phone.

Yukimura panicked when Mitsuhide ended the call, quickly pressing redial with a soft curse under his breath as he bounced his leg anxiously.

Amaya had managed to crawl partway to the Megohime’s gun on the ground, broken ribs and bound hands forcing her to cover the distance by dragging herself.

Mitsuhide threw the phone aside haphazardly before moving to Amaya, "And just what do you think you're doing, hm~?"

"I promise you, I am pushing the engine as hard as it can go without exploding." Sasuke said, voice tight. Masamune was equally anxious, almost ripping open his nice leather seats.
