SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

Akihime moved to lay his arm where it was supposed to go before gently petting his head.
"Rest, Yukimura...we'll get you fixed up in no time.." She told him gently.

Yukimura watched the blurry shape in front of him, hearing a familiar garbled voice. He closed his eyes fully, letting out a tired breath as he finally relaxed.
“Alright, let’s get started.” Amaya moved to wash her hands and get a fresh pair of gloves, gathering what supplies she’d need to be able to reattach his arm.
“And since Akihime so helpfully dosed Yukimura with RC blockers, I should have no trouble stitching his arm back on.” She thanked with a nod, laying her supplies out on a tray table next to Yukimura.
“Arm still looks pretty good too.”

Amaya nodded, looking from Akihime to Sasuke.
“Mm, could you grab iv fluids for him? I doubt Masamune kept him hydrated.” She motioned with her head to where the iv saline bags were kept, having snooped a bit when she had downtime previously.

Sasuke nodded and moved to grab what he would need, hooking the tubes up and hanging the bag onto a rack and pulling it over to Yukimura's other side. He washed his hands quickly and moved to clean Yukimura's skin before hooking him up to the saline drip.

“Thank you.” She flushed both the arm and the stump again, making sure it was clean and ready for suturing.
“Can you administer morphine too? Let’s knock him out before I start.”

Sasuke nodded and moved to get a bottle of morphine and a syringe, dialing a small dose since he still had suppressants in his system and injected it into the secondary drip in his iv.

It took just over an hour to make sure Yukimura’s arm was properly aligned and attached, taking several hundred stitches. She wrapped it up in gauze to protect the injury and stabilize it, fingers aching from suturing for so long.
“Finally..”
Yukimura was out like a light, a bit more color in his complexion now that he had proper medical care.

“Thanks, you too, Akihime.” She flexed and rubbed her sore hands, rolling her neck.
“I don’t like the way Date was holding out with Yukimura for so long.. How much do we still owe him with all four of us working full-time?”

She nodded in agreement, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Even if you add in our cost of living and lodging expenses, we should be at the very least halfway… I’d be willing to bring it to him.”

"Bring what to who?" Masamune asked from the door. Akihime turned to him and he zeroed in on her, "We got words, Otani."
"You have words with all of us, actually." Sasuke said, "Aki didn't act alone."

Amaya stepped in front of Akihime to block Masamune’s view of her, her hand over Akihime’s for support.
“We’ve done what you’ve asked, and we all pull our weight- how far in the red are we still?”

"You're in the clear, actually." Masamune replied before holding out a decently large stack of cash, "I promised Sanada any extra would be a wedding gift. So, here. Take it with my blessing."
"Don't touch that, Aki." Sasuke said. Akihime seemed equally hesitant, holding Amaya's hand tightly.
"You wanted to talk about us being at your little... underground fight club, though..." Akihime said. Masamune nodded.
"Yeah, we're still gonna do that."

It figured Masamune would keep them working despite no longer owing him a single yen.
“If our debt is cleared, what do we owe you talking about finding your club?” Amaya pushed back.

"You weren't supposed to know about that. And the fact you had to lie to cover up for Megohime speaks a lot in regards to your loyalty. But you still lied." Masamune stated. Akihime tried not to shy further behind Amaya as she stared at him.
"What is the punishment then?"
"You're not taking her pinkie." Sasuke stated. Masamune glared.
"I'll take whatever the fuck I want, Sarutobi. But no, I can't mangle you, that would be unfair to a new blushing bride. You have to look perfect for that special day."

“How generous of you.” Amaya said with a sneer.
“But Akihime won’t be the one you single out because you can’t do anything else to Yukimura but go after his fiancée.”

"I wouldn't have to if it weren't so easy." Masamune replied. Sasuke glanced back at Yukimura to make sure he was still knocked out before looking back at Masamune.
"What's the punishment then?"
"Ah, it's so lame because I can't demand yubitsume and I can't lynch you." Masamune said, "Code demands a higher up sacrifice his finger in your stead, but I'm not taking off my own finger and neither is Megohime. And I can't take anything more from Yukimura."
"Then just take mine." Sasuke said. Akihime gawked at him in alarm.
"Sasuke!"
"Your fingers would grow back." Masamune replied. Sasuke nodded.
"You can take three for each of us. And we won't go behind your back again."

“Sasuke, what the hell?” Amaya scowled deeply at him, shaking her head.
“You said yourself you weren’t going to let Akihime take on the punishment alone- now you’re pulling this? Why would I let you do it on your own?”

"Because I can regenerate. You can't." He replied.
"I can take your finger if you want, Oda." Masamune said, "Makes no difference to me."
"No...!" Akihime moved around Amaya to finally stand up for herself, "You won't take any fingers! Just...just beat the tar out of me and be done with it!"
"Aki, don't be stupid...!" Sasuke hissed.

“I’ll do it.” She said resolutely.
“My finger won’t grow back, and I’m not about to be married.” It didn’t matter if Masamune avoided touching her face, Akihime didn’t deserve to have to hide bruises under her wedding dress, and he had caused her plenty of suffering by keeping Yukimura from her for so long.

"I'll take yours and Sarutobi's then, again, I don't care. I'll beat Akihime eventually." Masamune said. Akihime turned to her friends, looking worried.
"You don't have to do this." She said.
"On the contrary, we absolutely have to." Sasuke said, "As dana's second, I have to make sure everyone in the family is taken care of, even if it costs me. That means you, sunshine."

Amaya felt more than one knot in her stomach, letting out a breath of anxiety.
“Well, next time when our turn comes around, feel free to leave us to our fates if you still feel that’s the right decision.” She said, trying to ease a bit of tension.
“It’s just a finger, I’ll hardly miss it anyway.”

"But, Amaya... Sasuke..." Akihime grunted softly when Saauke firmly placed his hand on the top of her head.
"Like I said: you can't assume people aren't willing to do things for you. You can't have friends and tell them not to worry about you." He said. Masamune yawned loudly and crossed his arms.
"You guys wanna schedule this or something? I'm a busy man, you know." He said.
