SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

Akihime and Sasuke followed her before Akihime moved to lead the charge. She knocked on the door and stood there, waiting for a long minute before a slot opened. She blinked and slid the card through the slot and someone took it from her before the slot closed. After another moment, the sounds of various locks clicking open filled the silence before the door pulled open. Akihime walked in first, Sasuke following close behind her and Amaya.
"Down the hall. Stick to the path." A voice said from the shadows, "Seats are first come first serve."
"Thanks..." Akihime nodded towards where the voice came from, trying to keep her heart from pounding.

The hair on the back of Amaya’s neck stood on end, not liking being inside the building one bit. She stayed close to Akihime and Sasuke, glancing around discreetly to memorize their path back to the entrance.

Akihime took them down the hall, trying not to stray as she followed the path, down some stairs and more halls. There was a muffled aound of music, and the closer they got, the more they could feel it in their bones. She swallowed roughly and pushed a door open at the end of the path, immediately smacked by loud bass heavy music, the stench of alcohol, and cigarette smoke. The cheering was almost as loud as the music was and she looked around for some seating.
"What the hell does Masamune have dana doing here?" Sasuke tried to ask over the music.

Amaya could smell the underlying heavy iron smell that clung so familiarly in the air: blood.
“Nothing good.” She answered back, just barely able to make out his words.
Glancing around she noticed something odd, several people amongst the crowd wore masks- which wasn’t surprising, but left her uneasy in the familiar environment.

Akihime looked back and gestured for them to follow: "I found some spots." She mouthed, before leading them towards the upper stands. As soon as they say down, the music changed and the cheering grew louder.
"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! I hope you've all cast your bets on the winner!" A voice echoed over the loud speaker.
"I don't like this." Sasuke said, shifting in his seat.

Amaya held her breath as the lights dimmed, bright spot lights appearing on center stage to light the arena.
A familiar figure entered the stage from door to the left of the stage, another ghoul exiting from the rightmost door to meet Yukimura center stage.
The fight began in an instant, the two clashing in the center of the stage, causing the crowd to come abuzz with chatter on who would win.

"Oh, my God, dana..." Sasuke muttered. Akihime looked horrified as she watched.
"Yuki...mura...?" Sasuke sat up a little straighter, scanning the audience for Masamune's entourage, stopping when he felt eyes on him. He followed them, eyes locking with Masamune's. The yakuza boss's kakugan was flared, and that agitated Sasuke's in response. Masamune had on his half reptile mask from when he dealt with Tsukiyama, arms folded over his chest as he glared.

Amaya felt Sasuke tense up beside her, looking to him as the crowd let out another roar of excitement as Yukimura swatted his opponent away easily with his Kagune, sending him flying into a wall with a hard crack.
She saw his kakugan active and followed his gaze, feeling her heart sink into her stomach.
“I think he sees us.” She reached out to put a hand on Akihime’s arm, alerting her to Masamune’s oppressive gaze.

Akihime looked at Amaya before trying to see where she was staring, swallowing roughly when she caught Masamune. He rose his hand and calmly beckoned them with his finger, his expression still holding its scowl.
"Let me go first, ok?" Sasuke said before he stood, not letting either of the two women argue with him as he moved towards Masamune. Akihime looked to Amaya quickly before getting up to follow.

Amaya had no chance to argue, forced to follow the two toward Masamune regardless. Hopefully they’d still be able to be successful in getting Yukimura out.
Once they reached Masamune’s seat, the view of the ring was much clearer, and all the fresh blood splattered about the ring too.

"How the hell did you three find out about this place? And how did you even get in?" Masamune asked angrily. Akihime didn't want to get Megohime into any trouble, so she stepped forward from behind Sasuke.
"I found a card while I was cleaning and asked them to come with me to check it out." She said. Masamune scowled more.
"Did you now?" He huffed before looking away to watch the new fight, "Let me guess: you want Sanada back, right?"
"I don't know why you have Yukimura trapped here, but please..." Akihime bowed deeply, "please, let him come home!"
"Dana has done enough, I think. He's earned his freedom, it's been months." Sasuke added.

Amaya blinked, glancing to Akihime in surprise, but saying nothing.
The audience erupted into cheers at the fight in the ring- Yukimura staggering back, having just lost his arm at the shoulder to his latest opponent. Blood spilled onto the ground at his feet, clutching the stump as he positioned his Kagune into a protective stance.
He was tired and in pain, that much was clear on his face, but he didn’t back down from the bigger opponent, knowing he didn’t need both of his arms to fight.

Masamune scowled even more. Yukimura had earned back his debt, Amaya's, and Sasuke's five times over and continued to pull money in. If he was going to give Yukimura back, he'd need a new act. He still had that Motochika kid on standby. He gnashed his teeth a bit; he said he would give any extra money over as a wedding gift, but that much cash was a lot to just hand off. Maybe he could keep some and spoil Megohime with it. Not like anyone would notice. His body language untensed as he sighed.
"Fine. Once he finishes this fight, he can go home." He relented. Akihime tried not to jump for joy, bowing even deeper.
"Thank you so much, Boss Masamune!"
"Yeah, yeah, well..." Masamune huffed, "y'all got a wedding to plan..."

Amaya listened into the conversation as she watched the fight, worried about Yukimura’s injuries.
He looked exhausted, covered in blood from previous fights. Even down an arm he was able to outpace the larger ghoul he was up against, dodging and weaving the attacks from his Ukaku as he closed the distance.
With one decisive strike he took the ghouls head off, skidding to a stop and collapsing to one knee, not acknowledging the cheers from the crowd.

Akihime moved the the railing overlooking the arena.
"Yukimura!" She tried to yell over the cheering crowd, hoping he could hear her. Masamune scoffed gently.
"He won't hear you, you know. Too loud in here." He remarked before pushing up from his seat, "C'mon, let's go wrangle him." Sasuke exhaled quietly, glad that went better than he expected, before turning to Amaya.
"Guess dana is going to need your medical expertise, ne?"

Amaya nodded, finally tearing her eyes away from Yukimura.
“I’ll see what I can do.” She said with a nod, following after Masamune and Akihime to where Yukimura was.
Yukimura was already backstage, sitting on the ground against the wall with his severed arm in his lap, chewing at the cut of meat from his last fight. He would require far more than that if he wanted his arm to reattach properly, stomach rumbling painfully from his spent energy.

Masamune took them down and backstage, pushing open the door of Yukimura's room. He held out his arm to keep Akihime from entering, staring down at her.
"I wouldn't do that. Everyone who's gotten close, he's lunged at."
"Have you been starving him?" She asked angrily. Masamune smirked.
"He can't fight for his life on a full stomach." He replied.

Amaya scowled at the news of his condition.
“He still needs treatment.” She argued firmly.
“We can handle things from here.”
Yukimura didn’t even register the conversation being had in the doorway of his room, not acknowledging that anyone had entered either.

"Suit yourself." Masamune said and dropped his arm. Akihime looked to Yukimura and frowned, taking a step into the room.
"Yukimura? It's Akihime. I brought Sasuke and Amaya with me. We're gonna bring you home." She smiled and offered her hand, "Let's go home, Yukimura."

“Wait, Akihime.” Amaya put her hand on Akihime’s shoulder.
“We.. might need to use the sedatives on him, reduce the risk of any of us getting hurt, or having to hurt him.”
Yukimura heard the same buzzing noise that made up the crowd that came to watch him, eyes staring past Akihime like he didn’t even see her, like the lights were on but no one was home.

Akihime looked back and nodded, "Yeah, you're right. I guess I just assumed..." She paused and reached for the revolver, Masamune raising his eyebrows gently.
"I keep telling them to search everyone at the door." He muttered. Akihime scowled gently and aimed at Yukimura, pulling back the hammer. As soon as the gun clicked, she squeezed the trigger and popped Yukimura in the chest with a suppressant.

Yukimura grunted and jerked from the shot, finally stirring to his feet, dropping both his severed arm and his food. He looked almost startled, swatting away the round that stuck to him, staggering a few more steps before sinking to his knees.
Amaya took a step closer, making sure the sedative was actually working before anyone approached.
“I’m assuming you don’t have any kind of medical care available here?” She scowled softly at Masamune, figuring she could at least provide first aid in the van if not.

Masamune made a noise, "Not for ghouls. He just needs to eat."
"That won't matter now with the RC suppressants in his system." Sasuke huffed. Masamune sighed in annoyance.
"I would if humans lived long enough for it to matter; so no, I don't." He replied.

Amaya let out a breath.
“Fine.. we’ll settle with the back door- I can administer first aid in the van, and get him to the doc at the estate to make sure his arm gets put back proper.” She took a cautious step forward, Yukimura showing no signs of getting violent.
“Don’t forget his arm..”

Akihime picked it up gingerly and Sasuke moved to help Amaya.
"Akihime," Masamune spoke and the redhead turned to him, "I'm gonna need a word with you when I get back."
"A-Ah...hai..." She nodded, looking nervous.
