Character Name- Esmerelda 'Esme' Gonzales
Prisoner, Staff or Guard- Prison Pyschiatrist for the prisoners and occasionally staff and guards.
Appearance-
Hello Nurse
Biography- While every other little girl was hobbling around their Barbie playset and jeep with a talking radio, Esme was inside, hiding her pretty face from the world and reading a book. Edgar Allen Poe, F. Scott Fitzgerald, things like that, it had always left her to ask the question of why. Generally that led up to people not knowing answers and the idea of her figuring out for herself. Being that she was raised in a slightly more sheltered home than most children, this meant that she was and still partially is a bit naive to things. Naive and stubborn. In her naivity and lack of being told like most little girls that she was in fact pretty, looks never really were something she situated herself around. Sure, she combed her hair and went through hygiene things, though make up and all the rest? Not necessary.
Though judging by her appearance now, it is not often guessed that she was the ugly duckling in the back of the room. Making her childhood thoughts a reality and being the one to create an accurate judgment on her patients, just recently graduating college at the top of her class happens to help that situation as well. Although she doesn't particularly agree with a few of the methods here at the prison, that doesn't stop her from enjoying her job.
Personality- Quite intelligent for her young age of twenty four, it's already enough for her to be able to tell when you're lying and when you aren't, but to be able to weave into your mind as well? It seems as though the female is quite chipper and optimistic, often there is a bit of sarcasm laced in her words, especially directed to the bitter staff members and the 'oh I'm so great because I have a gun' guards. Insults and rude words easily reflect off of her, and generally don't bother her unless it's from someone other than a prisoner. Being the way she is though, Esme figures that there is always a good in someone, even the prisoners, it just may have been smothered out.
Sexuality- Pansexual; Everyone.
Other- As of recently, no thanks to a certain threat by a prisoner that apparently caused the rest of the staff to be a bit wary and start a few rumors, each time she is in a room with a prisoner, a guard is ten steps behind her. Five steps if he runs.
