Alex woke up on a hotel bed. She was disoriented and dressed only in a set of CK underwear. A grey bralette and thong to be exact. She had no recollection whatsoever of how she got there, or anything about herself other than her name. This realisation didn't make her panic or worried, but it felt like there was a big empty hole in her life.
Looking in the mirror there were no recollections or hints about her life. All she saw was a five-foot, three-inch blonde in her early twenties. Alex didn't even know how old she was! She had pale skin and a petite, but athletic build.
There were no clues in the room either. Alex found a purse with about a thousand dollars in it, a driver's license, and a smartphone. Oddly the smartphone seemed brand new and had no contacts or photos in it. The only other items that didn't belong to the hotel were a short, pleated skirt, a crop top, socks and shoes.
Alex started to dress and then almost jumped out of her skin when the room phone rang. Hesitantly she answered and found that she had stayed past checkout time. Alex apologised, dressed then left the hotel. Not knowing what she should do, she checked her apartment address on the maps app on her phone. Surprisingly, it was only three blocks or so from the hotel. Who stays in a hotel when they could walk home?
As she walked, Alex found that everything seemed new to her. Nothing was familiar. It was like she was a tourist in a new life! It was odd, but not overly disconcerting. The only thing that bothered her was the looks that she seemed to attract, especially from men. Their eyes seemed to linger on her in a way that bothered her. In any case, all she could do was continue her walk home.
