Hi! Old member here, back after a few years. I'm looking to just start out by taking on a couple stories, three at the most, and once I'm feeling comfortable again I'll take on more as I feel ready to.
About Me:
-- I'm hoping to be able to get in a couple replies a week if not more, but sometimes I can't reply in a timely manner. Please nudge me if a week goes by without a response - it's not deliberate, and probably just slipped my mind!
-- I am willing to write opposite any gender character and I'm willing to play trans and nonbinary characters myself. I just prefer that my characters are AFAB.
-- I prefer to write in threads but am open to PMs, and I tend to I write 1-3 paragraphs per character in third person.
-- I have an F-list. Stuff in the fave/yes columns are always welcome but not mandatory, and while some of the nos aren't firm lines, always ask before bringing in something there.
---- While everything is pretty optional, if you're cool with a praise kink and consensual violence then you'll have my attention.
-- I prefer plot and character development over smut, but I don't mind smuttier stories as well.
-- Stories involving canon characters who are younger teens will take place when they are 17+.
Current Cravings:
-- Something soft and sweet between two childhood best friends who come back together as adults, only to realize how much they had missed the other. One of them admits to their childhood crush, seeing it all as something in the past now, but when it comes to light that they had both wished for more it gets hard to resist the urge to give them a chance.
-- Unhealthy or unstable relationships in general, violence not necessary. Codependent and willing to die for each other in the end of days? That situationship that really just winds up hurting everyone involved cause they know the other will probably never commit. The pair of exes who can never seem to stop returning to each other even when it's a bad idea - almost especially when it's a bad idea. Addicts who enable each others' bad habits. Emotional abuse, manipulation and control, and the stockholm-like effect it can have on those who experience it.
Fandoms:
I enjoy using fandoms in my roleplays, whether that's straight from the source material, original characters or alternate universes. I generally prefer canon/canon or oc/oc pairings but at times I will do canon/ocs - my rule there is that we either double up (or do a separate story as well) so we both have something to enjoy, or I get to play the oc.
-- Pokemon (Mainly OC/OC and focusing on Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh but I may be interested in some canon/canon or canon/oc pairings)
-- Life is Strange/Before the Storm (Chloe/Rachel, Chloe/Max, Max/Kate, Rachel/Frank, Chloe/OC, Rachel/OC, Kate/OC)
-- The Witcher (TV Show - Geralt/OC, Geralt/Yennefer, Jaskier/OC, OC/OC)
-- The Last of Us (Still playing TLOU1 - Tess/Joel, Joel/OC, OC/OC)

-- Misc. Pairings/Premises: runaway x someone who takes them in, friends turned lovers, vampire x human, vikings, forbidden relationships, bad boy/good girl, corruption, innocence and sexual discovery, sexuality exploration, band members/musicians, age gaps
-- Misc. Settings: Medieval fantasy/dnd style, modern-realistic, supernatural (vampires/ werewolves, witches, etc), dystopia, post-apocalypse
-- High school teenager (17-18) shenanigans. Sneaking around, both in and out of school. Experimentation and curiosity and newness. Possible pregnancy because they swear "it won't happen to them".
-- Cheating that they never meant to have happen, but suddenly their life has been loveless despite having a partner and when [a long-time friend, ex, stranger at a party, etc] kisses them they don't have it in them to stop.
-- The concept of "growing together" and healing/growth/redemption arcs in imperfect characters who find the person who makes them want to be a better version of them. Long-term friendships or trauma bonds or maybe just someone they meet along their path and neither of them really ever has to say anything, they simply bring out the best in each other. The relationship after abuse, where they're reminded of what it's like to be supported and cared for?
-- A zombie apocalypse, or other "end of the world as we know it" scenario. Lots of different options for character pairings and plot lines here!
