Okay, I know this going to sound incredibly weird, and I don't know why I'm asking, but the question popped into my head and won't go away.

Would a dildo made of ice even work? Or would it hurt more than it pleases?

They make 'em, they work, and no, it doesn't really hurt.
I wouldn't suggest only using an ice toy, though, as the fun is more in the mixing of sensations, rather than in just freezing the fuck out of your bits.
