The kingdom of Arcadia. From the outside it was a seemingly beautiful place built on a hill, surrounded by lush green landscape and an ocean in the distance. Even the walls of the castle town and castle itself looked white and shiny from the right point of view. Within these walls though, chaos and turmoil abound. Many of the people live in poverty, taxed to their very limits. Riots and spot fires litter the streets and women and children are left in tears in the street corners. What king would allow such atrocities to happen? None, actually. For the cataclyst of these atrocites is but a prince. A young man of only thirteen years. Six months ago, his father passed, leaving the responsibilites of Arcadia solely on the boy's shoulders.
With such a burden on someone so young, there were bound to be disastrous results. The boy king spend a large chunk of the treasury having many toys made for him. Money that could have been better spent on the people and facilities of his kingdom. Anyone who complained was promptly executed for treason. Too scared and frail to fight back, the people cowered in the presence of the prince. It seemed as if the only ones who were well kept in the kingdom were the prince himself, the soldiers, and others that were under his service.
Today, the prince came upon a bit of disturbing news. It appeared as if some peons had formed an alliance and were plotting an attempt on his life. This wouldn't do. He had to make sure these traitors paid severely for their actions. Crafty as he was, the prince had a clever plan. He had come upon a young chef, Michael who was the spitting image of him. Yes, he would surely make a good replacement for him and when the assassin came, he would be ready and waiting to trap whoever came and force them to reveal the location of the rebels.
