Hello loves! My name is Dafydd( though will likely be changed in the nearish future because I am an easily distracted individual when over-caffeinated who apparently does not re-read things!).

A bit about moi...
Play style- I tend to gravitate towards plots with a historical, slice of life, or fantasy theme with an underlying theme of romance throughout them, I am more than willing to explore other genres, though I do tend to get a bit picky when it comes to the sci-fi genre (primarily robots and aliens).
Characters- While I do prefer to play female characters as my main, I'm perfectly fine playing either gender for secondary main characters (if that makes any sense). When I do, I like to keep the number on the smaller end, between 2-4 additional characters as any more and I feel like I don't develop the characters as much. I'm more than happy to do a side romance plot between two of the secondary main characters, either MxF or MxM, though I will warn I've only recently been writing the MxM plot line, ie. one other roleplay, so consider yourself warned!
Writing- When roleplaying I tend to write in third person, but I don't tend to have a preference between first and third (so go wild!). Length wise, I will write as much as my partner does. Ie. novella=novella, sentence=sentence.
Smut- While I'm not looking for a smut heavy roleplay (at least not on this thread at the moment ^_-), I have no issues including it in roleplays! I have had experience here and there but it has honestly been quite a while so be gentle with me, I beg of you T,T(well for now at least). That being said, I am interested in exploring more in the world of smut so I would be opened to explore some more beginner kinks in a more smut heavy roleplay than I normally do!
Age gaps- I usually use the high school rule when it comes to pairings (ie. if you could have gone to high school with them then the age difference is good to go!). Just a personal preference!

Plots

Depending on the blood that runs through your veins, the gift of magic could either be a curse or a great asset. Though the practiced was outlawed many a centuries ago, many in the upper echelons of society trade magic as one would currency; bargaining between heirs to see who can create the more powerful Caster. For MC, one born outside such gilded walls, the mere possession of such abilities places a fate of being hanged or yet worse, taken from her home to 'supplement' the dying magical bloodline of a minor lord far closer to reality than one would wish. Contented to live out a quiet life in her small, country village, MC is eager to keep her abilities a secret between only her and her closest friend, Ebril.
While doing washing along the creek, Ebril spots a young man (YC), bloodied, bruised, and damn near death, washed up on the creek's bank. With Ebril's help, the women manage to get the injured man to a vacant barn, where Ebril convinces MC to heal the injured man with a bit of her magic. (As a bit of an aside: I was thinking that YC, either heir to the kingdom's throne or the elder son of a high ranking noble lord, could be injured from an attempt made on his life. It could either be a coupe from a younger heir eager for the title and all the spoils that come with it, or a rival Lord praying that obtaining YC's family will be easier with YC out of the way. These were just a couple ideas and can be changed depending on where you see the character going).
Eventually, YC regains consciousness, and MC and Ebril agree to hide him in the barn until morning at which they will decide what to do with him. Eventually, Ebril is captured by Royal/Noble under suspicion of possessing magical abilities and taken to the Capital. Though devastated at the potential fate that awaits her friend, YC and MC decide to team up to travel to the Capital as a means to an end of their own goals.

A woman with healing ability is chosen to be the promised bride of a neighboring war lord with a tendency to be cruel and whose prowess upon the battle field has dubbed him. She values life as a precious thing to be cherished and fought tooth and nail to be saved, he has grown far to accustomed to the frailty of life amidst the uncertainty of battle. As MC dutifully accompanies YC throughout his latest campaign to unite his once war torn country, a change of heart occurs. One is given a reason to stay alive a second longer and another is given one they would happily lay down their own life to save.
The only question is will they have to prove it?

In this world, vampires are born from a union of a vampire and a human. While many may never know, humans and vampires coexist in this world side by side, with most mortals never realizing otherwise. MC was one of the rare instances of two worlds colliding. Born from a vampiric mother and mortal father, she was amongst a handful of individuals bred from such a union who inherited her father's mortal veins, while her younger brother, following 5 years after, held strong to the vampiric genes. Though herself a descendent from priestesses and holy men, she learned such skills from her father while growing up with the very demons it was supposed to repel.

MC has recently been hired as a secretary for YC, himself a vampire. Her knowledge of the world is quite convenient to him. Knowing precisely what YC needs to protect against the dangers of everyday life to vampires, MC makes the ideal secretary. She even ignores the amorous moans that emanate from YC's office anytime he must feed. Each vampire may have their own taste, but they say the blood of an individual at peak ecstasy can be sweeter than any ambrosia.

When her sadistic, and truly sociopathic mother returns, in an attempt to steal her long abandoned daughter away to serve as an unwilling bride in a marriage to a rival vampiric clan, MC enters into a deal with YC. A steady, though tentative, source of blood for protection.

As a warning, this would be a scenario where I would prefer a romance develops between the two characters.

As an aside: I could also see this taking a place in a more historical setting, potentially between a noble man and his maid or a noble woman and her butler or even just straight up noble x noble!

If you are familiar with this, this concept arose from wealthy American business owners in, I think, Edwardian, times sending daughters over to marry into financially struggling noble English families. Essentially trading money for bragging rights to say your daughter is/ you are related to a Duchess/Lady/Insert title here. MC could be one of the said lovely ladies, potentially even having parents who immigrated themselves who managed to struck it big in America. Eager to partake in the latest craze of fabulously wealthy, they send their only daughter, and heiress to a vast fortune, across the pond to find herself a well titled husband.
Depending on how you envision your charming YC, I can definitely see the plot going a couple of different ways. My current train of thought for this plot is that MC is sent to stay with landed, though very distant cousins for her time in England. Upon initial introduction MC and YC do not get along, though are forced to remain in close proximity for one another due to MC's cousin's immediate infatuation with YC. Not long after their initial meeting, if any time at all, MC's relatives push her towards and outwardly charming man with a sparkling title to match(as well as some more than desirable connections for themselves. Over time MC and YC begin to bond and slowly begin to fall head over heels with one another.
The antagonizing push from this has a lot of options, and a ton of different ways this can be tailored to however you wish to play the roleplay. For example, spurred by jealousy at the time that MC and YC are spending together, which though flirtatious eventually is outwardly innocent, MC's suitor could become rather violent or aggressive towards both of our characters (leading to some tense, maybe even action aimed scenes). Alternatively, perhaps an old flame of YC could appear just as their relationship is beginning to blossom. The choice is yours!

Will you stay? This was inspired by a song by Morissette Amon who I suppose will also be a sort of voice claim for the roleplay (song already linked in blue for reference if you don't know her I highly recommend checking out more of her work she is an insanely talented vocalist!).
MC has been working as a ghost writers on songs for a major music label for the last 2 years. Though intense stage fright has put her dreams of singing her own songs on hold, MC is more than happy to demo the songs when needed. A hectic day within the studio sends a version of a recently completed song that MC had written and demoed to a studio for their upcoming movie in place of the originally agreed upon artist. Though the music studio quickly realizes their mistake and offers the correct version, the movie production not only insists on keeping the demoed version but requesting the artist who wrote it to come on set to write another piece for them.
To help with the process, they pair MC with YC
(Similar to above this could go in a couple of different directions! When I initially thought of this plot I imagined YC being the lead actor/love interest within the movie and a childhood friend/first love of MC. Though initially paired together so MC is able to ascertain a better idea of the premise behind the story, their friendship, and perhaps more begins to rekindle.

Love you still was what I was thinking of as the ending song that results from the two being paired together.

Ground Up
A wee bit of background behind this area (and me I suppose). I absolutely love world/plot building with my partners from the bottom up (honestly part of my favorite part when it comes to roleplaying!). This section is probably only going to contain fandoms, pairings, or tropes that I'm interested in exploring but don't necessarily have a plot attached to it. I will warn that for fandoms I typically prefer to use an OC for my character. If you are dead set on playing a cannon in one of the listed fandoms, go for it, but just wanted to give a little disclaimer on my personal preferences when it comes to fandoms(so long as characters fit site rules go for it!).

Magic with the background of Victorian or Edwardian time period (I have been playing a lot of Hogwarts Legacy so Edwardian Wizards/ witches is something I would love to try playing around with!)
