I'm Tern, I've been roleplaying for over a decade and am an adult in every country. I'm looking to play in the Harry Potter world, preferably as original characters, or I'm willing to play Hermione or Draco opposite a non-Ron character, or simply a modern f// slow-burn romance. No doubling (for now, we can always start another roleplay together if we mesh well).
Perspective: 3rd, past tense
Length: I typically do 1k words or so for a starter but shorter replies, perhaps 2 paragraphs unless it calls for something more, so that we can have our characters interact in a realistic, conversational manner. I'm not too bothered by how much you write, but enough for me to respond to please, at least one paragraph. I will typically respond anywhere from five times a day, to five times a week, depending on our lengths and my schedule.
Pairings: Any gender pairing is fine for the Harry Potter setting, but I'm craving f// for a modern romance.
Limits: Canon-typical violence and more is fine, no scat or rape, though mentions of past sexual assault are fine. No drug use.
Preferred plot/smut ratio: 90/10, if not even more plot. I have no problem with smut, but I prefer focusing on character development with smut as part of that.
I have plenty of ideas for the Wizarding World, from teachers to aurors to head students returning for 8th year (if canon characters), and I'm happy to hear your ideas, as well.
For a modern f//, I'm looking for a slow-burn romance between two strong-willed characters. Enemies to lovers is a good trope, and I'm happy to talk ideas over with you. College aged and up only for these characters. I like to come up with plots with my partner, but some settings or pairings that inspire me:
(A fantasy twist can be added to any of these, although I'd prefer to focus mostly on character development.)

- Childhood friends meet again
- Roommates
- Researchers in a remote area
- Eccentric author or artist/house cleaner
