I was wondering when I am looking at a PM of mine what does it mean when I see this

In the reply... Like all I wrote isn't appearing in the pm at all just the ellipsies

Is that from your message? If not, perhaps the person who sent it edited the content.

I think I have had this problem before, but I don't think it was edited

I'm afraid the only way for a message to change is an edit. Either yourself or the other person edited the message; depending on who sent it.
