Question Image hosting sites?

Its been a few. I am assuming we host images to a third party site and them post links / embed/ etc like usual.
My old site is gone it seems. What is the preferred site for hosting images / adult images / etc for purposes of linking to this forum?

You can post mature on IMGUR if private.

You can also use GYAZO as a screenshot method of having images, but it's only 10 images unless you pay for more. You can delete any of the 10 and post another up to 10. There is a loophole in that you can still have your earlier 10 images and keep them and their links, but only your most recent 10 are viewable through your GYAZO profile for yourself, but the links still work if you stash them away somewhere, like in an RT as a character reference or something.

I personally prefer discord. Setting up a personal discord server is free, and you can just dump on your img/gif whatever into it and use the ilnk.

Imgur has updated their policy to no longer allow porn even if set to hidden. They are purging all adult content from the site so it can no longer be recommended if you are dealing with that kind of art (which most of us on here frequently are).

Oh, jeez, I didn't know that. All the images I had set to Hidden are just faceclaims lol, so I guess I didn't know until recently that that wasn't an option anymore.

Just an FYI, the above is correct.

Beginning May 15, 2023, IMGUR will no longer allow nude or sexual images even for hidden photos.

Imgbox is a good alternative I've used in case Imgur ever started taking off adult content. While it doesn't allow for customization options, you can create different galleries for your pictures and it doesn't seem to have rules against NSFW content.. I'd recommend moving your Imgur images there.
